Humm, so how did I end up with this ?obscure? and unreviewed gem?
Well, over the past 6 months or so I’ve become fascinated with a particular note combination, that being heavy Plum And Patchouli. I began to notice it’s presence in a few scents I found especially nice and so went about using the note search function for scents that had Plum/Patch. I ran across this one, low priced but seemingly liked in Europe and across forums here and there where I could find it mentioned or reviewed. So I took the gamble and grabbed a bottle. I must say I am very surprised and pleased with the purchase. Since it does seem obscure I plan on grabbing another bottle before it disappears. The Plum/Patch is very well blended in this scent, and is topped off by some pretty heavy Amber and Jasmine.
I picked up no rose or citrus. The most dominant being Plum/Patch, followed by strong Amber and Jasmine. The Silage is quite nice and it’s lasted a good 8 hours so far and I can still smell it 6 inches from my skin. I’ve found the Plum/Patch combo to be quite nice on my body chemistry hence my recent fascination with it. This scent deserves some real attention and I believe it’s lack of recognized name, reviews or popularity cannot be due to it’s quality. From what I can find it’s a smaller defunct indie Euro outfit and is no longer producing new scents. Considering the price, I would urge anyone with a love of a very well blended Plum/Patch, Amber/Jasmine scent that wears very well and provides a very nice medium dark scent to give this a try while it’s still obtainable. I’m quite happy with it and it fits well with Beyoncé’s Midnight Heat, Killer Queen, Latifah’s Queen (Minus the booze)and similar scents. Though this is not as overpowering, it’s a softer but very “there” plum/patch bomb and for the price, it’s just been an amazing 8 hours of smell-good.
