Description
After the popular collection which includes hair care products with a characteristic fragrance, the company Oribe decided to take a new step by expanding the offer and presenting their first two fragrances: Cote d’Azur and Silver Pearl. The perfumes have been announced as a part of the luxurious offer of the Oribe brand and are constructed as unisex editions.
The fragrance which thrilled all fans of the hair care collection is available as Cote d’Azur perfume with a citrus-floral composition, while the second one, Silver Pearl, is a somewhat different green fougere. Both constructions are signed by perfumer of the house of Robertet Jerome Epinette and Pierre Wulff.
Silver Pearl opens with scents of bergamot, green fig and fresh mint, accompanied with geranium, lavender, bamboo and water lily in the heart. The base leaves a trail of black amber, dewy violet and leather accords.
The fragrances will be available from September 2014 as 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

Received as a free sample. Kind of a harsh smell to me, not one that works on my skin. I’m not a big fan of lavender and that what stands out to me.

I’m glad I didn’t buy this unsniffed. I had a chance to try both Oribe fragrances today at Blue Mercury in Philadelphia, and I disliked this one. It smells like a mixture of hairspray and after-shave lotion. It has a very vibrant blast of ozonic, hairspray-like notes in the beginning, and it dries down smelling like the bottom notes of a toiletry product made for men. It smells like something Creed would make. It has that same feel. I think this would smell great on a guy, but it’s not for me. As a side note, I found this much more interesting than Cote d’Azur.
