A little confused here. The picture shows “SILK”. And the review is for ‘SILK NOIR” Are there two different perfumes or just one SILK? THANKS.

What an honor to be the first reviewer for this fragrance. I was lucky to obtain a bottle of this as a blind purchase and it did not dissapoint. To sort of sum it all up the best comparison I can make is to Donna Karan Chaos. I loved Chaos and when it got discontinued I got an extra bottle that I store away for a rainy day. I’ve not really smelled a perfume that I could honestly compare it to until I got Silk Noir. Immediately upon spray you get the heavy incense note with the clove. I do not see insence as a note here but without doubt it is part of the composition. This is a heavy scent fit for fall and winter. You certainly could wear it in the summer but I would tend to use Chaos in the cooler months. Can I call it an exact dupe? No but it is strikingly similar in a very good way. Longevity and silage from this line is quite amazing and the fragrances are composed very well, very high end niche type perfumes. If your a fruity gourmand lover steer clear you will very much dislike this scent. If you like spice this is for you. Could it be unisex? Sure possibly but it does not scream gentleman to me. It says I am a strong and sexy woman. All in all a great blind purchase that I will cherish.
