Salvatore Ferragamo Parfums will be part of the Harrods 6th floor Fragrance Gallery, which will be opening on Monday October 6th. An exclusive floor that features high end perfumery brands as well as a section dedicated to Harrods’s collection of exclusive fine jewelry.
The brand will be present with three unique and precious hand crafted limited editions of the two iconic fragrances of the brand: Signorina Eleganza and Signorina Eau de Parfum.

Signorina Eleganza is presented in a luxurious and 1000ml unique piece forged by the expert hands of Italian craftsmen. The flacon, made of pure crystal, features a yellow gold plaque engraved with the Salvatore Ferragamo logo and four shimmering diamonds, while the spherical cap is made in precious gold.
Salvatore Ferragamo has always been synonymous of craftsmanship. Creativity, impeccable sense of style and attention to details led this prestigious Italian maison to interpret Italian classicism with a new energy and an avant-garde philosophy, where classic meets audacity, irony and passion.

This is a new discovery for me.. on clearance at Marshall’s, so I decided to give it a try. It’s my new love. Not sweet in the traditional sense. I detest sweet scents.. Reminds me a bit of Coco Mademoiselle, which I also love, due to its classiness. A winner.

I like it better than the original “Signorina”. It is sweet, fruity, but the patchouli note gives it a bit of a sourness (in a good way) and a “kick” that makes it stand out from other sweet smells. Not overcloying, easy to wear. The sour note wears out and almost disappears after 2-3 hours, leaving a pretty basic sweet smell with a bit of a spice. Will be a good day-time / office fragrance, pleasant, but hardly recognizable.

It’s a lovely , classy scent. What saves it from being like other perfumes is the patchouli, osmanthus, white leather and almond.

This is a really warm, sweet fragrance. It smells like a lot of other marshmallowy-caramelly compositions, but stands apart because of the leather note. I do notice the grapefruit, but would not call this a fruity fragrance by any means.

Sigorina Eleganza is right on the Like / Dislike line for me.It has a “Dirty” quality to it. Along with the notes listed I also get a strong smell of smoke. In the same way its in Lush’s Breath of God. Im not trying to say it smells like Breath of God. I can just smell smoke in the notes. I also get a large note of Leather. It reminds me of being out at a bar all night. Its like a smoke smell being covered by an Oriental perfume. Its a very strong Perfume to me like Youth Dew or Opium.
