IgaraZ – :
I tried this one at the Souk Madinat, Dubai. The asaq shop is much smaller than the flagship showroom they have at the Dubai Mall but the overall rustic, old world ambience of Souk Madinat is mind blowing. The knowledgeable and top Sales executive Mr Mostafa I met last time at Asaq, Dubai Mall is the manager here at Souk Madinat. The price of this attar is 5000 aed for 12 ml. And the bad news is that they will no longer make it.
This has very old purest wild kalakassi oud oil. The way oud oil was made a hundred, five hundred or a thousand years ago has been used here.
Ok. I took a small swipe on my sleeve. I was greeted immediately with Taif rose and kalakassi old oud oil. I liked its potency and it developed slowly..
I tried so many other scents too and half an hour later went to the Emirates Mall and tried Mancera, Kilians and literally bathed in Dior Leather Oud. After three hours I started getting wafts of this Shaikh Abdullalla bin Khaled blend..
I couldn’t smell anything else on me not even Leather oud! Bin Khaled blend was telling me that fragrances will come and go but it would remain..
Imagine yourself on a camel back. You are part of an ancient caravan in the desert. The caravan is carrying spices, very old precious oud oil, musk, dates, taif rose oil.. You get wafts of all these continuously and also get a mild leather from the strap and the very faint smell of the camel. You can see sand dunes everywhere. The desert wind is hot and dry..

Excellent blend.

It is how a blend should be. FYI it has a real rare deer musk which isn’t for sale anywhere.
I love it. Lucky enough to have it.
Very expensive but worth owning though.
