Lime and vanilla hit me in the face at first, making for a sweet creamy scent, yet fresh and crisp at the same time. It’s also a little smoky, a little powdery and a little floral. It’s definitely a Shalimar, but more simple to wear; casual.

Such a beauty! I was so glad I was able to get my hands on a bottle. The bottle and juice are so beautiful. A heavenly ode to Shalimar in this Flanker. It’s fresh, clean, light, and the rose and citrus are just stunning. The vanilla as always brings a smooth creaminess and softness to the fragrance. If you can hunt down a bottle, I’d highly recommend it! The sillage and longevity seem to be above average. As always another Shalimar that truly does not disappoint.

Found a tester bottle for sale today and bought it immediately. I wouldn’t say that the initial blast is citrus only. I feel the citrus blended with the vanilla, myrrh and powdery notes quite early, but I don;t mind that the stages aren’t so neatly organised in groups of notes. It has a general “old world” vibe to it, somewhat conjuring the image of a vintage vanity with powder… I do appreciate it
