Poolellexhaub – :
This was a blind buy from Universal Perfumes and Cosmetics. I bought it because I loved the bottle and the price was right. Raghba is one my favorite perfumes right now, so I want to explore more from Lattafa. I ordered Shahrazad and Samaha which I also reviewed. Most of Lattafa’s notes are still a mystery and until they list their actual notes somewhere online, all we can go on are the impressions we get. For this one…it’s a unisex fragrance with great packaging. The top flap is magnetic, the front folds down, and it looks like an antique book…..so, on to what it smells like. So at first, I smell vanilla, a little incense, oud, and something very strong that smells like salty B.O. But 15 minutes later, the strong B.O. skank goes away and this turns into a faint vanilla, spicy salty oud…maybe a little rubbery and leathery too. very woody but weak. Shahrazad has low low sillage, and a so-so longevity of maybe 4 hours. I prefer Raghba.
