Take the peel of a bitter orange, smell it and you have Senteurs Fraiches. A non-complicated fragrance, fresh, happy, light and relaxing that gives you a more optimistic view of life.

My first fragrance, when it just came out to say my age ! I remember the advertising ( in France ) with that song ” manny river across ” , if my memory serves me right. I loved it and wore this for manny summers ! As “Juilette” says, I always buy one bottle when go back home in France !

If it were longer lasting it would be wonderful.
I bought when it first came out, it was cheap and sold everywhere. We used to spray and spray it on our skin (all the girls back then used to wear Charlie in winter and Eau Jeune in summer) and soon after it faded away.
I have an opaline glass bottle from years ago, it still smells beautiful.
It’s one of the best citrus fragrance I have ever met not far from Escale à Portofino but much much less lasting.

A great name for this one ‘Blast from the past’, – as the 1 st reviewer said!!!! I was a child when my parents got this perfume home. I remember my dad using it most of the time, but mum could use too. My sister and i, being little girls, were craving to reach to that ‘treasure’, – what we did, while parents were not at home…. I grew out of it, but my sister re-winds always, and kept asking me to find this one on- line. So, guys, – for those who are desperate to find it – the best place to get it – Spain ( that ‘s where i got my 4 bottles supply). Even more, – the price is ‘funny’, – just 11.50 euro!!! unbelievable. They sell the same Deodorant, – so got few of those too, – 5 euro per item. Amazon is also a place to buy it, but 29 pounds??!!! thanks…
And yes, – the smell as good as i remember, – not different, Even though it might been re-formulated with the ingredients of a different category, – the whole ‘picture’ is still the same fruity-greeny-fresh, lemony-limy crisp, feels like u just out of the shower or out of the sea. Exceptional. I like ‘heavy weapon’ in perfumes department, – so this would be like after-shower mist- kind….but my sister is using it like a normal perfume. To my opinion it is very light, does not stay at all. i mean AT ALL. Just good to have be ‘misted’away for a min or two into childhood, – that s why i would keep this bottle…. my nice, happy memories….

I loved this in 70’s, 80’s and 90’s! Never seen it for years – how I would love some! Where to buy it? Amazing, summery – I can smell it now!
-ВИШЕНКА- – :
Had this in the early 80s. For me CK one was a kind of reprise of this. Im my memory they are very equal to each other.

I think this is a lovely inexpensive cologne. I fell in love with it in France. I just wish I could buy it here in the States!

The best Eau Jeune in my opinion. I own a bottle with a different desing, but I think the juice is the same.
I love the drydown because I can get something on my skin which reminds me of incense and it’s lovely.

Mandarine de sicile, Bois de rose, Menthe verte.
Good choice for spring for chypre lovers, very good value for money!
It is a little sister of one of my favourit perfume:
Weil Antilope.

This scent is “so 80” , at this time , the combination green + citrus was trendy . Many perfume like this have been discontinued , i think they do keep this one because it’s the historical Eau Jeune scent and i hope they will keep it forever.

The very first of the “Eaux Jeunes” – and still the best for me. Used to be called “Eau Jeune de l’Oreál”. Freshness, summer, relaxation in a bottle. Sparkling, green citrussy notes – the current version smells as good as the stuff from 1977 – that’s a reason to rejoice. I always buy a back-up bottle when I’m in France (and it’s an inexpensive pleasure: about 9 euros per flacon). This is what I call a brilliant blast from the past.
