I just got this an cannot for the life of me describe what it smells like. It’s like trying to describe a new color that doesn’t exist yet but it is a lovely fragrance. Smells like nothing I have ever smelled in my 63 years.
All I know is I bought 3 more bottles that were very affordable. Smells as if it will wear Year round with no particular season.

This house of Tova has a cult following. You either know what Tova is, or you don’t. I have been on a Tova kick for the past few months. I adore original Tova so I thought I would give this one a go.
A very likable feminine amber scent. I think somewhere in there I might get a very tiny amount of the original Tova trying to peek through but there is a gorgeous soft feminine amber that takes center stage. There is more to amber in here and at first I could not figure out exactly what it was. After further time to settle I most definitely smell the Mimosa. I also get some citrus and lavender. Also some other flowers. One would think this combination with amber would be an epic fail but somehow it smoothly blends together beautifully. I have nothing like it in my collection. I know some amber scents can be masculine but not this one. It’s very lady like. A pleasant to the nose easy to wear fragrance. And the longevity seems quite nice as well. It quite possibly could be signature worthy for me. Maybe not permanently but definitely for rotation!

If you’re looking for a dupe of L’Ambre des Merveilles, then you will be disappointed. This is similar, but it’s missing the labdanum balsamic notes that make the Hermes really shine.
That said, I like this one on its own merits. It’s a soft, sweet, resinous amber. The floral notes are very much in the background which works here. It’s a little sweet to my nose, and I’d love it if there was a balsam or aromatic note – it would provide some contrast to make it a bit less fatiguing, but I do enjoy the Tova as it is.
And, hey, you can get it for next to nothing.

I am surprised! I really like it. I tried it yesterday, the day it arrived. The bottle was cold, I live in MI and it’s very cold outside. The juice was a bit cloudy. At first spray n’sniff, it was a “heck no!” However, later that day I remember thinking what is that beautiful, feminine scent….yup, you guessed it, it was my new scent, Tova on my wrist. I am a huge Amber fan. Try it and wait for the development of this lovely, enchanting perfume. For the price, it’s a real steal!

I am today updating my review of this fragrance.
I cannot imagine what I was first smelling, the first time I tried my new bottle. Maybe some fragrances have to “breathe” after they are opened….????…..
I gave it a second try today….and I got something totally different than the first time. I get a wonderful ambery floral scent..with something resinous in the background….the lily is floating on top. I am really enjoying this scent after all !!!! This type of thing has happened to me before…that is why I give scents a second or even third “chance”. I paid $9.99 NIB shipped for this scent, and it is worth much more, IMHO.
It is not a “stellar” fragrance, but it is worthy of being part of my collection for sure.

I get nothing close to any of the reviews on this!!!
I get…harsh/sharp/burning smell from this….no softness at all….where is the amber??? The floral?
Maybe I got a bad bottle????

I just ordered a bottle off EBay for a ridiculously low price. Tried a friend of mine’s and really loved it. It’s a lovely, soft amber and the citrus blends beautifully, not harsh or sharp in any way. I love the powdery dry down, guess it’s the iris? Anyway, it’s as comfortable to wear as a soft, familiar sweater. And the bottle! So pretty. Can’t wait for it to arrive!

This is my favorite Tova fragrance, but I haven’t tried them all yet. I understand it’s listed as a winter or fall fragrance, but used lightly can be worn all year long. It’s a soft, sweet, feminine sensuality that feels comfortable on. I can wear it around sensitive noses without complaints. I put sillage as soft because I applied it lightly, but I’m sure it can be built up for greater sillage. I adore fragrance but get bored easily and can be a snob with cheap scents. After four hours, it’s dried down to a soft powdery floral. I don’t see powder listed above, but it’s what I smell. I have nothing else in my fragrance arsenal quite like it. I will probably reorder Ambre D’Oro when my bottle runs low.

For me this is by far the most disappointing Tova fragrance. Maybe it’s cause I’m not an amber lover. I couldn’t find any of the notes, she promotes as typical sicily. Instead it was just amber amber, strong and musty.

This, for me is the absolutely best of all Tova perfumes. This has the italien chic in a classic but modern style. I love this and also the quality is more than fine. A real nice and classy perfume.

I was pleasantly surprised by this one; I hadn’t heard much about Tova perfumes and frankly, I got my bottle at a steal of a price, so I wasn’t expecting much. But I really like it! It is a lighter amber scent, the florals and the kiss of citrus keep it from being too heavy. This could definitely be worn during the warmer months, but it seems more suited to crisp Fall days to me. Heck, I even like the bottle!
