Another love after Rosa. Very unique Sandalwood I never encounter before. Must be the coumarin that gives the special blend. Totally different with my sandalwood blended and other oriental perfumes. And surprisingly relaxing and soothing. Smells closely with the classic Coco Chanel EDT, and less expensive

i get the sandalwood and the pepper, but something is off in this mix. something. i dunno what it is, but there’s something either lacking or in abundance of. and i can’t put my finger on it…
this doesn’t have the milky spiceyness of mysore sandalwood, and since it’s a natural oil (apparently), then i’m lead to believe that it’s australian sandalwood in the mix, which could explain my first point.
either way, it’s quite acidic and a touch too astringent for my liking…

It’s a charming one. Like a hug of warm spicy woods.

What I really love about l’Erbolario is that it is a natural product. Your nose will tell you that too, nothing synthetic about it. Aqua di profumo Sandalo is pretty strong on the sandalwood, and I happen to really love that smell. A friend of mine adores this too, but she finds it too heavy for her personality / colors (blond & blue eyed).
