I still have my 16 year old bottle! I never wear it, knowing that it’s been discontinued and I’ll never be able to repurchase ; but I often smell it. It’s a beautiful, summery, zingy smell that reminds me of being 21 and full of excitement and confidence.

To me, this is a juicy, fresh burst of yuzu! A friend who knew my love of grapefruit suggested it to me when it came out. I bought a bottle, and loved it so much I bought 4 more bottles. Have been able to enjoy it for these many years.

I came across my old bottle of this and I was pleasantly surprised– again! Salsa is certainly quite fruity but also slightly sour, almost a bit rancid. It reminds of me of Miss Dior Cherie in that sense. I don’t mean “rancid” in a bad way. The sourness gives it a nice understated kick if you will.
It’s a shame this has apparently been discontinued.

cannot remember the smell but I still do have a soap champoo of the same line and smells yummy and lovely, like an orgy of tropical fruits

Thanks for adding my request so quickly.
Very unusal and interesting fragrance! Starts as very synthetic scent that scared me completly in the begining (the acid coloured juice made me sceptical already). Somehow i had associations with “Tocadilly” by Rochas when looked at it. But this one is different. To my nose this fragrance has everything: it is sweet and sour, a bit spicy and fresh and all at the same time which sounds like a total chaos but actually comes out quite nice in the end. It has indeed a very storng fig and litchi note mixed with sandalwood and vanilla. I wonder how they achieved this result this it also has some spiciness in it if none of the spicy note is listed?? The name is very appropriate for this fragrance, i couldn´t think of something else. Salsa in a meaning of a dance, note a spice. “Brazilian beach” is what i see when i wear it.
Definitly unique i can´t really compare it to something else i have smelled. Yves Rocher does not dissapoint again!
