I bought this a while back and it just didn’t work for me; too sharp, too synthetically sweet, somehow wrong all over. Maybe it’s changed since then, but I can’t help being sad that they discontinued Oceana instead of this.

This is a perfect scent for spring IMO. I love the freshness of the green tea note, and the floral cherry blossom note is very pretty. I am surprised by the longevity of this perfume, it last for hours. I am also very happy that this is a cruelty free perfume : ) I look forward to trying more fragrances from this house in the future.

TerraNova is a new brand to me, though apparently its owner has been doing this sort of thing since 1970–she started The Body Shop, believe it or not! Anyway, SAKURA AND GREEN TEA smells very similar to sakura and green tea, I can affirm, having a bag of that blend right here chez moi. There is a slight touch of woodiness (maybe vetiver?) in this composition as well, which makes it smoother than straight cherry blossom petal-sprinkled tea leaves.
For a green tea perfume, this one seems a great choice, as it does not have any of the astringency of oversteeped tea so often found in more synthetic fragrances. I believe that this one is natural–it certainly smells natural and is not at all annoying, as tea scents sometimes are to me. Thank you pitbullfriend for a fragrant introduction to this house!

This has to be the greatest green tea scents every produced i love the delicate cherry blossoms mingling with green tea
notes it’s not dry and sour like Elizabeth arden’s green tea. it’s not to heavy but
stands on it’s own but liz arden’s green
tea to me has more of an organic compound
and sakura don’t want to say synthtic
arden’s add an earthy chemistry of woody and smoke and sakura
is simple and sugery.

This is a really beautiful fragrance, one of my fave green tea blends. It’s an excellent balance of the cherry blossoms and green tea – neither seems to overbalance the other. It’s a fresh green tea here, not smokey. Very green fragrance, with a touch of floral sweetness. It’s very much a fresh & natural garden scent. More solid than you might think, I don’t find it “delicate” or ethereal, and there’s no powderiness to it. After wearing it a couple of hours, for some reason it reminds me of Coty’s Aspen (for women.) Great staying power, pretty much all day. Excellent for Spring and Summer.
