Below is my review (no idea why I didn’t log in).
This is an interesting take of oud. It does not smell medicinal nor have skanky barnyard note. As a biologist, to me, Safeer Al Oud smells like nature. It’s sort of like outer wood lying between the cambium and the heartwood of woody plant. Meanwhile, throughout the drydown, it smells like damp green leaves on wet soil. Unlike most oud perfume, Safeer doesn’t scream and bold. It’s light but long lasting.
