I dislike Rose and I will continue to do so. For those of you who love Pacifica Persian Rose but want to upgrade a bit, Rosenlust is similar. ”Bathroomy” rose with a lemony undertone that make me angry for no reason.

I love this perfume. It opens kind of green and metallic and in the dry down it becomes warm and rosy. The turkish rose otto in this shines through beautifully. I also get a hint of sweet iris and the honeyed rose absolute. It is light, but I get about 3-4 hours on my skim, if I spray it in my hair, it last longer.
The price is high, yes…but I know the costs of a kilo of rose oil, not to mention the iris. Compared to other natural fragrances houses, this one is actually less. Knowing that the ingredients are ethically sourced and that even the alcohol is organic, is really important for me. I can wear this everyday and even mix it with others from this house. Def. full bottle worthy.

Agree with Belleofrivendel that this is almost straight up rose geranium essential oil smell. I like the smell of geranium EO. It’s very bright, citrusy, rosy, and uplifting. That being said, I don’t smell much of anything else and it’s very linear. It’s not quite a perfume in my mind. If I’m buying perfume, I want a perfume, not an essential oil for a lot of money. I already own Diptyque’s Geranium Oderata which is similar but does have a more complex makeup, though it’s actually fairly simple. In any event, I’ll probably wait til summer to use up my sample as geraniol also makes a good mosquito repellent!

There is citrus in the top then a pure, grassy, natural rose. It is NOT jammy like Imogen Rose. They are not even similar other than that they both are rose fragrances. NO lasting power at all. Gone in about an hour or two as if not wearing fragrance.

This is a beautiful rose geranium fragrance. It’s an unadulterated unisex soliflore with perhaps a tinge of musk to anchor it on the skin for hours and hours with full intensity. It is aromatic, fresh, and absolutely delicious. I did a side by side comparison with rose geranium essential oil and it was spot on. Those of you who are lovers of rose absolute need to look elsewhere for your rose thirst or at least refrain from a blind buy. This is pure rose geranium absolute and a gorgeous floral for spring!

It’s funny the whole time I thought this was called “Rosen-nut,” so I was expecting hazelnut or at least some gourmand, but instead got a blast of tanginess! However, it does settle down and sweeten, which created the effect of some sort of rose-lemon bar 🙂
After looking it up, I was surprised to see nothing but rose, so I went to their website…
Ingredients: 100% natural extracts of Rose Otto/Turkey, Rose/Bulgaria, Rosewater, Rosewood/Brasilien, Pink Grapefruit/USA, Ambrette Seed, Tonkabean, Orris Root, organic alkohol

This is pure rose, the sharpness of a rose is quite shown like the clear pepper & i can define the rose from 100 miles. I believe this could be pure rose as shown above and it’s for the Arabian roses style fragrances.

Rosenlust is a multifaceted rose scent, believe I read Tanja used roses from around the world into this one scent. The result is really beautiful as it transforms on the skin with a depth you wouldnt think to expect from roses; sometimes it is deep, other times I get light and dewy facets shining through. Roses are supposed to be the heart chakra scent so I often find I reach for it when I want to bring that sense of peace and calm in certain situations. I am head over heels in love with to her Rose L’Orange so this is my beautiful alternate.

I just got into perfumes because I love the scent of roses but couldn’t find products I liked with the scent in them. So I’m trying out samples to find one I won’t mind sinking the money into to own.
I found Rosenlust EDP a bit sweet, which I like, but a bit too dry/powdery. Also after the drydown I smell a menthol type note that I don’t like. The smell is giving me a headache. I wanted to love this but it smells too much like those rose scented bath cubes. I like not love.

Beautifully fresh and warm. My only complaint is that cannot smell it on my wrist after about 6 hours. It’s so lovely and I wear it often!
