Description
The process begins with Katrina using a hydraulic press to form the locket shape, later soldering on hinges, clasps, and a rim to house the perfume. Once the locket is perfectly shaped, it is adorned with a hand-carved floral design corresponding to one of three floral aromas. I still can’t believe the beautiful shapes Katrina was able to draw and mold on there. The process begins with Katrina using a hydraulic press to form the locket shape, later soldering on hinges, clasps, and a rim to house the perfume. Once the lockets are formed, I fill each piece by hand using a traditional method of melting down beeswax and jojoba oil before combining it with the fragrance-specific ingredients. With rare and precious materials like Bulgarian rose absolute, lillial, and French basil, the perfumes boast a concentration of 25% – higher than standard perfumes – ensuring a little bit will go a long way.
Rose was launched in 2011. The nose behind this fragrance is Anne McClain.
