When I was in high school I used to save the petals of every rose I was ever given and keep them in a bowl. There is something musky in the first few moments that transported mr back to those old petals. I also got a distinct geranium scent. As it settles it’s more the freesia and peony scent you would expect from the listed notes, and that’s ok — but it pales compared to those first few minutes.

This is one of my signature smells. I love this one. It is sweet, without being sugary. It is rose, without being cloying. It is very much a lady-like fragrance.

I really like this! I got a sample through a swap and its quite lovely! It almost has a lipstick smell to it.

Love this soft, sexy and sophisticated floral. It maintains a simple pink soap scent yet one with history. I find Rose Leger nostalgic and I suspect any man lucky enough to catch a whiff would too. It almost has a rose smell but better, more powdery. The perfect hint of green is subdued and not too crisp. This is a romantic fragrance perfect for long Sunday mornings when you intend to sleep in for most of the day an cuddle.

Rose Leger smells like a “90’s” fragrance to me, with its delicate, fresh freesia note in the foreground sweetened lightly with almond, and a general “watery” vibe to the composition. I can’t believe it was released amongst the sugary death trap fragrances from 2006.
Rose Leger is very soft. Freesia and peony give floral sweetness to the composition while violet and heliotrope add light, powdery qualities. The musk must be of the clean sort here, as it smells “white” instead of animalic. Andie MacDowell would have worn Rose Leger in the film “Four Weddings And A Funeral”. Again, the fragrance feels like it was meant for 90’s fashion.

This was one of my biggest disappointments. Very strong, fresh & green, didn’t really get rose from it at all. Smelled like unpleasant air freshener and unfortunately lingered for a few hours. Would not repurchase

Of the current Herve Leger scents I like this the most. The original was too cloying for me. The rose version is lighter, more floral and has a fresh rose smell combined with something like licorice on my skin. For every day use or an office scent it works quiet nicely.

I like Rose Leger better than the original, but neither were great. But Rose Leger is sort of a nice daytime/office scent. To me, it smells like a soapy light rose scent.

Nothing extraordinary, but also nothing heavy or sugar-laced here, just the scent of fresh cut flowers wafting on a cool breeze on a hot day….softly feminine, nice!

Lovely and original smell with a distinct violet note.

My favourite scent for the casual summer days. Tender flowers, delicate smell of rose, although there is no rose in it. Simple, feminine parfum is Rose Leger.
