The notes here are wrong.
I’ve cut and pasted this from Molinard’s website:-
Top Note: Bergamot, Mint, Almond
Heart Note: Jasmine, Rose, Ylang-ylang, Saffron
Base Note: Musk, Sandalwood, Amber, Oud

I first ordered the velvet line sample kit as I’d been intrigued by Ambre Lumiere and so I discovered Rose Emois.. It just blew my mind! I looked it up on fragrantica and saw mint among the notes, which would have normally scared me off.. I don’t get mint fortunately but the amazing oudish, velvety, greasy rose with a touch of sweetness from almond and sandalwood – Santal Majuscule alike to my taste. Wonderful!

Incredible perfume, nicely blended, and perfectly done Rose, I would not even name it as a Rose scent.
There is no bitter, sour Rose note, as most typical Rose, Pepper fragrances go, it is not in your face Rose scent, Rose and Ylang does give a slight sour, salty hint, but not too much.
It is a blend of notes with a superb balance, love the Mint and Almond touch, notes combined gives a feel of Oudish vibe, even though as it seems there is no Oud in composition.
I would say, a very under the radar fragrance with a very good performance, I really like the smell of it, want a bottle as a guy.

This is amazing. This line of Molinard never fails me, so intense and emotive – this is going on my buy list. Rose not overpowering at all just subtle hints amongt the warm spicy feel and a refreshing twist with the mint and bergamot. Beautiful.

this is a nice and refreshing take on rose. Medium-weight fragrance, a well blended mix of roses, almonds and bergamot. Smells a bit like a rose-flavoured caipirinha with a dash of almond liquour. Quite unique to me but then again Molinard rarely disappoints. ps . update 23/03 – now the weather turning warmer this has transformed and I can also smell something oud-y .. really strange.

Isn’t aoud mentioned among the notes? The aoud here holds a basis for the entire orchestra of notes. It’s an aoudy fragrance, not su much like a Montale, but aoudy it is, fruity-aoudy would I say. I’d also like to add that it is a bit powdery too. It’s like a kind of aoud done with plum and flowers. Every now and then I feel incense too or smth similar, even though it’s not listed in the notes. When the fruity-floral fades a powdery aoudy base remains. It’s an aoudy perfume for when you feel like you’ve had enough rose for your aoud so you decide to switch perfume. Worth trying for a change of mood.
