I don’t know if I sniffed this scent from a bad bottle or what, but this is by far the worst Rose fragrance out of 4 Rose in this line from Victoria’s Secret. It smelled really toxic and chemical on my skin in the dry down. It smelled exactly like some industrial machine oil. It must be from the bergamot or something like that. I love Jo Malone Oud & Bergamot Cologne so much and the bergamot definitely does NOT work out here in this VS Rose scent (on the other hand, maybe I should not compare VS with Jo Malone to begin with).
I personally would pick the Rose Caramel first (warm, yummy caramelized rose) and then Rose Violet (fresh spring floral cheerful rose) and just discard Rose Musk and this Rose Bergamot out of 4 of them in this line (the Rose Musk left the same negative scent on my skin, but more tolerable than this one as the musk fortunately was very weak).
FYI, I just tested ALL 4 Rose scents in VS stores over their semi annual sale the weekend before New Year’s Eve. I would not feel sad with the fact that this whole line has been discontinued since it was just launched last year 2016.

I feel like this scent is the most mature in this range- the other coconuty ones skew younger. It smells like dull roses to me with a citrus kick. My husband smells watermelon? The scent is not over the top , but still really nice. Lasts 4+ hours on me.

Moderately sweet rose with a hint of citrus, and green, fresh bergamot. It is very refreshing, as rose fragrance could be. Last 3-4 hours, and needs to be reapplied after that. The drydown is more musky.

I get almost all apple from Rose Bergamot. It’s much more fruity than I had anticipated. The bergamot is a bit masculine on my skin. Hardly any rose… Crowd pleasing in the fruity shampoo sort of way, definitely not my favorite from the line, but not bad by any means.
