Nice yuzu note, extremely cheap but very weak. Even after just spraying it I feel it will evaporate in 10 minutes under the Italian sun.

Very nice fresh quality fragrance from a great italian creator. Nothing you will remind for ever & ever but very nice to wear during hot days & about all others. Good for teeners till 3rd age it is pretty all around for any age. Discreet but elegant with appropriate moderated luxury projection & good staying on power on clothes. Nice change to Kenzo’s home & l’eau. It does have a little something of Armand Basi’s in blue. I do get some similitude with Issey Miyake l’eau pour homme. Clearly in that family & quality. It is not the kind of fragrance you will impress people with but you will enjoy wearing it yourself. A whole day long if used as what is is, an eau de toilette. Another fragrance I will keep on buying & using for sure.

This remind of of Guerlain Homme after it dries down. First spray opens up with citrus zesty feeling. Very refreshing and tangy. This is great during spring season on warm sunny day. Its not very loud citrus. Its mixes up with other citrus like the mandarin and bergamot. Got that hint of pepper to kick it up a little bit. But i dont really get that cinnamon smell maybe its hidden. Another great fragrance that keeps you cool during the hot summer. Longevity is great. Wear this keeps you smiling all day fresh.

Opens with moderate sour yuzu, lots of bamboo and hints of spice. As the yuzu fades, pepper and bamboo become ever more prominent lending some warmth to an otherwise cool scent while each attempts to play well with hints of fresh citrus, cool geranium and mild spice. This one only gets better over time especially heading into the dry down where hints of cypress and patchouli add an interesting earthy tone. A wonderful everyday scent! I’ll have to wear it a few more times to get a good handle on it.
    Score 5/10

    More DASH, than CASH !!
The wispy quality of this eau de toilette’s fruity/floral aspect, came across a tad “effeminate” for my taste…at first sniff.
But on skin, it warms up nicely with my body heat, and the woodiness becomes more palpable. Then, it just makes it over the side of “masculine” for me -as a light, woody-citrus tonic, well suited for spring and summer. Although modern in composition, it’s simplicity emit a classic vibe. What sets this apart from others in this kind of “eau” genre, is it’s treatment of yuzu. By pairing it with a reedy bamboo, (Alberto)Morillas effectively places Gigli Man in an exoctic locale. This Gigli Man is well travelled, romantic… and genteel… Like a modern day prince, effortless in his charm.
Not a scent I took to immediately, mind you. But has become a “sleeper” hit in my collection. A prime example of the brilliance of Alberto Morillas, and especially recommended for the unbelievably low price this fetches. Gigli Man is a prince’s scent, for a pauper’s wallet.
    Longevity: 7/10 (in base)
    Sillage/Projection (summer temp.):7.5/10 (in mid)
    Art/Creatives: 7/10 (Bottle and Composition)
How: casual, youthful (but all ages), daytime,
clean-cut, charming, spring/summer, work or play.

After all using it I frankly say that Gigli throw away all my other fresh-like scent.you feel your self with Gigli in Forest as eating or smelling mandarin.I always love citrus through perfumes.Terre,Aqua Pamplelune,Story and Gigli I will always love you. I dont pretend explain it because I did.Gigli fresh, clean and nothing senthetic in it. Wear it summer night, autumn and spring days.Peace be with you by scents.

Ho hum. Pleasant, but unremarkable. Many others are much more worthy of wearing. Fragranticas will be bored and disappointed

This is the poem written on the bottle:
    “Sensation” – Arthur Rimbaud
    …Je ne parlerai pas,
    je ne penserai rien:
    Mais l’amour infini
    me montera dans l’ame,
    Et j’irai loin,
    bien loin,
    comme un bohémien,
    Par la Nature,
    -hereux comme
    avec une femme.
    … I shall not speak,
    i shall think about nothing:
    But endless love
    will mount in my soul;
    And I shall travel far,
    very far,like a gipsy,
    Through the countryside,
    – as happy as if
    I were with a woman.

This review is for Sud Est, which is a Gigli fragrance for men not yet listed in the directory. If you’ve tried Pino Silvestre and New West for Him, just think of a cross between them, though more towards New West. There is a strong pine-like note at first, but once that is gone it’s a rather blended fragrance. Yes, there is clearly an herbal presence but it’s not that clear. What bothers me most is that there is a “bright”quality which seems out of place and too strong. Is there any calone in this one? I seem to be especially sensitive to it. Not only don’t I like this quality, but it seems to rob the fragrance of what might be a very interesting, super-dry quality. If you like fragrances with some calone, you might not even notice it here.
There is no animalic quality, like the castoreum in Yatagan (some have compared SE to it), nor do I find this particularly harsh. I just don’t get enough dynamism here, and while it’s nicely balanced, there’s not enough note separation. However, unless you seek these things, it may not matter to you and you might really enjoy it. Longevity and projection/”sillage” seem to be at least very good. If you enjoy the “brightness” here, this might become a favorite of yours. I prefer fragrances like Green Jeans, Roadster, and the original Nino Cerruti fragrance for men, for example. I don’t understand why some view this as super-dry, evocative of a barren, dusty plain, etc. For me, it has more of a culinary quality, actually.
    Basenotes.net provides this note pyramid:
    “Top Notes
    Basil, Bergamot, Hyacynth, Jasmine
    Middle Notes
Rosemary, Artemisia, Thyme, Bay Leaf, Coriander, Cinnamon
    Base Notes
    Woody, Musks, Balsams”
UPDATE: Now that I think of it, this may be thought of as a really nice air freshener smell, at least once you get to the drydown.

This is OK fragrance. A lot of spices and generic freshness… good quality. It longs a while on you but nothing special or unique. One of the typical mass-market fragrances. Anyway worth the price.

Shortly after spraying, it dries down to a simple but pleasant clean fresh scent on my skin. I haven’t smelled anything like it before but I don’t like to call it unique either!
I guess the point of its release was to be an inoffensive clean scent, which honestly it pretty is! I think it can be a good choice for daytime wear. You will have a subtle fresh clean scent around yourself throughout the day. It projects moderately and lasts for around 6 hours on my skin.
Its style is the same as Prada Amber Pour Homme and Burberry Touch.
Also I like the design of bottle with those writings on the glass and the red cap.
It gets a 6.5 out of 10 IMHO.

this fragrance is just wonderful! similar to l’eau bleu d’issey, very soft and pleasant, especially when it develops. Better in winter time

Wow! I’m the first to rate this fragrance here. I must say that I liked this creation by gigli, I can’t say that this is my fav as there are heaps other but this similar to kenzo l’eau par ice for man. A soft, refreshing and smooth fragrance for use in office, you will feel like spraying more after 2 hours and pleasant in a way it develops. Much better than gigli uomo, was my first one then with same brand. Longevity is decent, average projection and to me this deserved 7.5/10
