Description

In the search for the fragrance that reflects her, the romantic woman reveals her beauty under summer light. She is natural, sophisticated and gracious, and her fragrance is as delicate and sensual as a bouquet of freesia and roses. The new fragrance Jeanne Arthes Romantic is inspired by trends that highlight beige–nude shades and vintage elements.

The composition of the fragrance ROMANTIC opens with refreshing and airy fruity shades of bergamot and cassis. The development of the fragrance brings a strong floral scent of freesia, rose and warm earthy patchouli, while earthy shades are transformed into irresistible and soft powdery vanilla blended with musky aromas. The base also incorporates fine, resinous and warm shades of tonka, warming the composition in subtle way.

The flacon of the fragrance Romantic was created to depict rose buds blooming. Her curves are very feminine and elegant and the stopper is designed as a rose bud. The fragrance can be purchased in the amount of 100 ml Eau de Parfum.
Romantic was launched in 2015.

Definitely a sweeter, more fruity patchouli version of Armani Si; surprisingly i prefer this over Si. Si is screechier, like a sharp citrusy cassis with a hint of vanilla and patchouli. But romantic’s blackcurrant/cassis is more ripe, to me it smells sweeter. Then the patchouli definitely more noticeable in the dry down.
If Armani Si can be jworn in spring or even summer, this one should only be wear in colder days. Another pros: it’s long-lasting on me yeay
    P. S: It has syrupy sweet, melted caramel mix with berry type of sweet, and then mix again with patchouli in the drydown.

Smelt delicious.. Smelt way lots more expensive than its price.. It is sweet but not in foody way. A light cloud of nice blended vanilla, patchouli, and tonka bean will sorround you all day. Delightful if you are into sweet scents. I tend to reach for this on cool cloudly day. It make me feel dreamy…
Edit: after tried si twice in dept store.. I can say that both have similarity.

Fresh???? Where is freshness in this? very soft and gentle you wanna eat yourself or plunge in your top. it is yummy in a classy way. You don’t smell like a cupcake’ like a teenager girl, and in the meantime i never understood the love to smell like food, what is it like to smell like a pie?? Yes it has a lot similarities with si of armani that i had in the past. It was sharper and was giving me headache and nausea’ whereas this one is lovely. It’s like a cashemere top. No one could guess that it costs very cheap like 10 euros. I sprayed it two times in the morning and i can still smell it on my collar in the evening. This is a gem that i hesitated to share ;)) take care.

LVEB’s uglier sister. Lots of black currant, patchouli, vanilla and tonka bean. No air at all. Not romantic, but syrupy.

This perfume was launched in 2015 and brings the concept of a woman with delicate and dreamy soul, at the same time sensitive and updated with market trends. She identifies herself with this floral and oriental fragrance, represented by a beige-nude liquid, which arrives in a bottle designed to represent the bud of a rose. According to the manufacturer, it pays tribute to eternal femininity.
The brand became known for enter the market presenting some dupes (short term to duplicate). Over the years, their products have gained space and some of their own creations have begun to emerge. But this is just an introduction to speak of two characteristics that call my attention in this fragrance, as I explain below.
First of all, the box has the printed olfactory pyramid. In my opinion, I think this should be a worldwide rule, because it facilitates the dissemination of the information in a correct way and the access to the user, regarding any intolerances and allergies. And I’m not talking about those compounds that are always there, for example: geraniol, limonene, etc. I’m talking about the use of terms that everyone knows. Here, for example, we have black currant, bergamot and freesia on top, followed by notes of rose and patchouli, in the body, on a base of white musks, vanilla and tonka bean.
Second of all, Romantic is that kind of perfume that rubs in our faces the nude and raw truth, which ratifies what we already know: we pay too much money for some perfumes with good quality, just because of the brand. Especially, in Brazil.
And speaking of quality, it is present from the beginning. As soon as it touches the skin, the fragrance shows that it has no shyness or cheap smell. It projects very well and evolves gracefully, showing a floral and fruity output, in which I do not identify bergamot, but the floral and refreshing freesia. The rose is not the most clean, nor is of the powdery style. It is only feminine and does not harm, but complements the woody aspect of patchouli, which looks like a watershed between the head and the base.
As it evolves, the fragrance appears slightly gourmand and sweeter. The base brings the creaminess combined with the sweetness. The musk helps to spread the scent, the tonka bean imparts an almond facet and the vanilla sweetens at the right point, in order to not spoil the floral appeal.
I could stop my review at this point. But it remains to me to say that Romantic is very similar to Armani Si, with small differences that pass unnoticed to the less demanding noses. Romantic is a bit sweeter, while the other has bigger floral nuances.
With high projection and lasting up to 10 hours, Romantic (which is Eau de Parfum) is perfect for those who want to know a great perfume, paying just a little for a 100ml bottle. Nice surprise!

I am finding this fragrance very easy to wear, I don’t get tired of it. It is a lovely subtle balanced floral, not overly sweet. Something I could keep in my collection and wear when I feel romantic or nostalgic.

As LadyPilot suggests, I gave Romantic a try today 🙂
Romantic gave me the feeling of something – a scent I am very much familiar about, but I cannot really recall. Armani Si, mmm… Kinda. But I think Romantic is even softer.
While I’m still trying to figure out what it smells like – I would also recommend you people to give this a try. It’s very easy to like. It’s light and fresh, and “very polite”.
On me, Romantic grows to be a very fresh citrusy-vanilla. Something that I’d love to wear on a clear day in a late afternoon. Super cute 🙂

It’s a sweet, slightly vanilic scent, probably supposed to be a dupe for Armani Si, but not 100%. It has a bitter, herbal note as well – the note emerges after some time. Still, I believe it’s worth buying, especially for its price – and if not buying, then at least trying:)
