Rêverie Balnéaire: An exquisite nostalgia for summer memories captured in a moment of timelessness. The remains of a driftwood bonfire, white sand, dried seaweed, a kiss of ocean waves, scattered white tuberoses, and sun warmed skin musk.
In bottle at first sniff and upon application, there is something almost fruity to start with a predominance of tuberose. Oddly, I get the impression of apple or a vague white peach. ?? The tuberose lends the beachy ambiance normally associated with higher-end suntan products. Warmed skin musk begins the make its rise through the white petals after a few minutes, tempering the nearly cloying sweetness of the white florals. A half hour into it, the driftwood begins to faintly glow.
This one has a mega throw and very good longevity. It likes to emit puffs of fragrance in the later hours, depending on level of activity and mood; a fun one!
