I’ve just bought this one, using it for 2 days and I’m feeling myself so charming and confident.
It’s so long lasting and silage is so successful.
It’s making you recognizable. A little bit grand ma like yes but a modern, chic and characteristic one 🙂

I Agree with the post right below me, super toxic soup overload. I have the vintage version so perhaps that is why, i worry for my health when i spray this on my body lol

I hate to put ages on perfumes but this smells like something an old lady/grandma would wear. Not saying all older ladies or grandmas smell like this, my grandma always smells classy, but this is very dated & old smelling. Its very harsh & strong. I love Magnolia & with the honey I thought it was going to be a beautiful spring or summer fragrance. I cant really tell what it is other than a harsh perfume smell. I like a lot of other Avon scents but this is harsh & cheap smelling. I cant recommend this to anyone.

I can see why some people finds it vintage / Granny-like. Must be the musk in it. I think it smells soft, cozy, warm and feminine. Better for cold weather. Nothing disturbs my nose, it’s creamy and well balanced. I think it’s a romantic perfume. I paid 4 $ for it and it definitely smells like a high end perfume. Great worth for the price.

This is intoxicating not in a seductive way but uplifting. This is interesting and a confidant professional woman perfume. The pink pepper and musk reminds me Capter One by Jennifer Aniston. C1 being sweeter, and while not exact, I tend to be drawn to these kinds of fragrances. Best blind buy ever. Side note: spray in the air and walk into it. It is strong.

This is interesting and distinct. Granted, I have less experience with female perfumes than with male ones, but I still don’t think I’ve smelled anything similar.
It feels slightly older than a lot of female perfumes, probably something that a woman under 25 wouldn’t wear – it’s elegant but also has a certain amount of character. I don’t think it would necessarily be a crowd pleaser, although I personally like it.
It’s a bright, powerful white floral that’s sweet but also has a peppery bite to it, and it lasts absolute ages. Easily 3-4 hours on my skin (which sucks up fragrance like a vacuum so that’s a feat) and 24+ hours on clothes. It also projects well, and I can still smell it on myself several hours after I sprayed. I can even smell it on clothes from last night if they’re next to me!
I would say this is rather formal as it does have a certain ‘stiff upper lip’ quality to it despite being floral. I like it but don’t love it.

Plum and pepper are so noticeable here, as well as, patchouli. For sure this is for a mature classic lady, and many ladies would love 🙂
However, it is a heavy perfume, in my opinion, but really suitable for a special occasion because of its long lasting.
I have a second bottle of 50ml, 98% full, if any lady interested in getting it, and would be happy for swapping 🙂

Avon Rare Pearls DOES smell somehow similar to Dior Pure Poison, but in a much pleasant way on my skin. I liked Pure Poison dry down a lot but detected a weird vibe from the beginning which stood out as a light vibe of “urine”/”piss” smell from the white floral combination which I have no idea why, nor the smell comes from which flower ingredient. So sorry for my crude comparison, but I don’t know how to describe it otherwise. I’m sure that Pure Poison would smell divine on a lot of people, but just not on me.
Now I can wear Avon Rare Pearls instead and enjoy it as a good dupe of Pure Poison. Rare Pearls opened with a first blast of very light peppery magnolia and honey combined. It then developed into something rather warm but still soft with a hint of sweet plumy, woody and smooth musk, NO “roughness” anywhere that I detected. Sillage and longevity of course are weak and cannot compare to Pure Poison. But I gladly take it with joy. For the price, I am very pleased.

This is my absolute favorite of the current rare series that is out right now. The current formulation of Pure Poison gave me a headache. This is lovely and it does not give me a headache I think it just smells sweet powdery and fresh. Really a favorite. I love the combination of the magnolia and the honey. Yum! And for me, this lasts a full day at work.

This is such a beautiful scent! I get a very soft honey and baby powder element with an airy magnolia in the first spray…I love when the floral isn’t too strong, but noticeable- and this one is just so pleasant.
It’s a very sweet and soft and feminine scent. I am super happy with this and plan on wearing it a lot! Sometimes Avon puts out some real stinkers, but sometimes they release some beauties and this is a definite keeper! I’ve sprayed three good sprays and it’s not headache inducing at all. Hopefully it lasts awhile. LOVE this.

    The poor man’s Pure Poison.
My eldest daughter smelled me wearing this yesterday and said mmm Pure Poison??
I haven’t done a side by side comparison but they feel very similar. The longevity is definitely poorer but I would say if you can’t get the original formula Pure
Poison (as I find the newer one a completely different thing), then this would be a very good buy, for the money you could spray all day to keep it fresh.
A soapy clean, jasmine, white fragrance.
Update: the next day the white Musk was clinging on in there in my inner elbow so I take it back about the longevity. The Musk is tenacious!

This is absolutely beautiful, I love Rare Pearls so much. I am not afraid too admit that I love Avon perfumes. They make some of the most beautiful scents for a good price also. RP has great staying power and good silage. I use too be a fragrance snob and wouldn’t been caught dead wearing anything “cheap” well I don’t care what others think anymore. I wear what smells good too me, This is the best of Avon by far. Thanks.
Edit: The more I wear this the more I fall in love with it. This is now my signature scent. I adore RP. Big love for me.

I love the smell, my mom used to wear perfumes similar to this scent. This is how I imagine confident women smell like. I also think it is perfect for rainy days, I find it somehow very comforting

This goes on with an odd unique note I can’t place but quickly becomes a musky, lightly woody, magnolia fragrance that reminds me a bit of gardenia, too.

I have been wearing Rare Pearls since I was selling Avon back in 2003. My children all know it as my signature perfume. I do not wear perfume as much any more but when I do they all want extra long hugs and make comments about it. I hope they continue to sell it for years to come! Great for all occasions year round. It’s never too heavy and has a clean smell to it.

  16. :

Perfect fragrance for formal occasions. Delicate magnolia and strong pepper are frosty together. There is only little bit of warmth from the honey. Rare Pearls is very felicitous name to this fragrance indeed.

Aw, the scent of my high school days! I bought a bottle of this from one of my classmates to help her out with expenses when we were going through the Cosmetology program. Then one off-hand comment about it to the family resulted in me getting four bottles of it for Christmas that year. Plus matching roll-on deodorants, shower gels, lotions, and powders…. Jeezelouise, thirteen years later and I’m still wondering what the hell I’m going to do with it all. I look like a damn hoarder :c
This really was just a sweet, somewhat-spicy musk. The magnolia smells a bit cleaner than the Southern variety I’m used to (which can get cloying), but in this it doesn’t seem to bother me like other white florals tend to with their soapiness.
I still drag this out and use it occasionally. Usually when it’s a bit colder, as it can overwhelm me, but it seems “professional” enough that I don’t *think* it would bother people in close proximity.

I bought a mini of this perfume today on a whim, not my first try though, as I had a full bottle a while ago and another mini afterwards – that is to say this is definitely not one of the many fragrances I got bored with and never bought a second time. No, this one is definitely a favorite for me! I must say that it’s much more floral than most of my perfumes in my collection (I’m a gourmand, sweet smells lover), yet it has a warmth to it (probably from the honey note) which makes it so balsamic, feminine and comforting! It’s both elegant and casual and indeed – as another reviewer suggested – reminds me of an expensive white cashmere sweater. Both youthful and classy, suitable for almost every occasion. Also, a very affordable drop of luxury.

Rare Pearls smells like a cross between Pure Poison and Ysatis, but it’s a very good fragrance in its own right.

Just got the second bottle of Pearls.
My first one, after 5 months is almost empty – a “dose” for 3 days (maybe 2) is left:)
Not opening the new one since I am now targeting for AVON’s “Mesmerize Black for Her” – these are my scents!
and the “AVON Lady” is to get me a sample of Mesmerize tomorrow:) which i’ll try over the weekend. As the “blue” version does not suit me at all, the black got me mesmerized:)
I fully reallize that not everyone likes those heavy incense-like perfumes. I just love it:)
Another way – I do not like the style of all those “modern” perfumes which all smell like a carmel/fruity/candy/flower shop. And the another “past wave” of all those fresh/citrus scents reminds me of a toilet cleaner:)
Heavy oriental scents are just my way:)
classic, woody, balsamic, heavy, incense, powdery, musk, patchouli….. YEAH!!!
I could wear patchouli scent only:)
I’m so very close to find MY scent:)
btw. where and how do one finds “the honey” notes in Pearls???
The perfume is more bitter than all those flower&candy shops.
pls explain:) and also (since I am new to perfumes – what is the diference between sandalwood and the australian sandalwood:) – never been to Australia:)

At first beside peppers there was some floral and honey, but after about 30 minutes it became more just peppers. Peppers give to this perfume strong and vintage feel, but in same time it’s not old, choking, obnoxious or very chemical. It is fascinating and different perfume, but not for everyone to wear. After some while can start to give light headache.

I tried it only on paper but it was the hate from the first sight. Reminds me of my grandfather’s very old cologne that had stayed in his wardrobe for a very long time.

    * These are my personal experiences/thoughts with this fragrance. Yours/others may differ. *
    Initial – honey + sandalwood + plum + pepper
    Drydown – sandalwood + magnolia + musk
Duration – unknown (couldn’t bear it on my skin after an hour)
    Projection – moderate
Experiences – Something about this fragrance smells like urine on my skin (possibly the honey note)
Quick Thoughts – scrubber, woody, spicy

This is one of the very few Avon fragrances that does not work for me. I always liked the scent bubble in Avon catalogs, so when there was a sale where you could get the entire bath collection and the fragrance for around $20, I ordered it.
One spray told me I had made a mistake. It turned into a big brassy late 80’s- early 90’s sillage bomb. I usually wear white flowers like magnolia very well. Pure Poison smells pleasant on me. I didn’t get Pure Poison at all. What I got was White Diamonds. Big, loud, strong. This fragrance has patchouli in it. Pure Poison does not. I wish fragrances always had a patchouli warning, because my skin amps it up until that’s all I smell.
Needless to say, I returned the whole collection. Luckily Avon has a great return policy and my Avon lady was very understanding. It’s a shame, though. The bottle back then was so beautiful.
I haven’t tried the new reformulation. If it still has patchouli in it, I’m staying away.

Just bought it:) I once felt it when shopping – only one person was there – so i asked her about the name:). She even gave me “a try” since she had a bottle in her bag.
Always remember to ask people about the name of the scent when you like it!!!
I am so in love with this scent. This is surely my signature:). It reminds me of an indian incense sticks – “nag champa” or “jai hare krishna” which i could burn all the time and now I can have this magical scent everywhere i go:)
The only thing i do not like is that i have to wait for about one to two hours before it gets like i really like it – but feeling the transitions is also an interesting thing:). Also I do not really like the bottle design, but that does not bother me at all.
It is very long lasting – as I am wearing this now – I am very curious what my boyfriend will say when he feels it this evening:). More to that – what my coworkers will think when i enter the office on Monday:)
after many hours after i started to smell like a pure sandalwood – that scent reacts to temperature!!!! many hours early morning i smell a limonette:)
Longevility of RP as its transitions is/are unbelieveable!

This is a really nice perfume for the price.
    CREAMY and MUSKY!
Has a brightness and freshness to it.
Also, smells classy with a somewhat vintage feel. Kind of has a soapy cleanses to it but in a good way! Plus bottle is very pretty.
Reminds me of a white cotton cardigan.

This perfume has grown on me the more I wear it. At first the top notes can be overpowering–the magnolia with the plum and pepper are very strong. But eventually it dries down to a magnolia, honey, musk with a touch of the patchouli and rosewood on me which I find smells very nice on a cold winter day. A lot of fragrances don’t last on me in dry, winter weather, but this is a nice exception. 🙂

I have a 5ml sample of rare Pearls, and as beautiful as it is, I won’t be re-purchasing as the longevity is rather poor on me.
I find it a slightly more floral, and prettier fragrance than Pure Poison. I meantion PP because there are many similarities to it, it really does smell a lot like PP but the drydown is more floral to my nose, I think I actually prefer the Rare Pearls if I’m honest, apart from the longevity, and that’s the only reason why I would not re-purchase.
If it’s a Pure Poison dupe you were looking for, this IS very lovely, but It’s not identcle. You’d be far better seeking out Victoria Beckhams Intimately. Its a closer copy and the longevity is great too. BUT had the longevity of rare pearls had been better, then I would gladly wear this instead of PP or VB Intimately.

There is often prejudice about Avon perfumes easily judged and classified as cheap.
This can make change your mind if you don’t trust Avon’s perfumes.
This is so delicious, smell like creamy zagara. Yes, it smell like milk of neroli and orange blossoms. Simple but absotoutely good. Very refined also. You must try it.
    An eternal beauty.

I recently smelled this on one of the ‘rub for fragrance’ pages in my Avon flyer. I thought it smelled pretty nice. To anyone that owns this fragrance, how accurate is the fragrance in the flyer to the actual perfume?

  33. :

    4 out of 5

I received this in a giveaway from a lovely young lady….I love it! I owned Pure Poison and found it very cold and one dimensional so I sadly swapped it away. This is what I wish the Pure Poison had been; it’s warmer and sweeter but very close to Pure Poison in smell and quality. This is in the older bottle so, perhaps, pre-reformulation?

  34. :

    3 out of 5

I really like this scent. It’s been on my skin possibly about 5 hours and I can still smell it quite clearly.
I think I’ll be buying a bottle of this.
I would call it a pretty floral, with warmth, like being cushioned in flowers.
I can’t name the flowers, I’m not familiar with any floral scent other than rose jasmine and Lily, but I see magnolia is the most voted for ingredient, so I assume that’s what it is.

  35. :

    5 out of 5

I received this as a gift and I was pleasantly surprised by it. Not having much knowledge about Avon fragrances other than they are usually very cheap to buy I expected this might smell a bit mundane (I don’t know why). However, I did receive a few nice comments when wearing this which I was not expecting. I can’t put my finger on what is nice about it. All I can say is that it doesn’t have that ‘samey’ smell like other cheap fragrances. I hate it when fragrances have the familiar scent that could be 100 other bottles. Good for everyday/work.

I can’t begin to express how upset I am at the change of this perfume . I welcomed the change of the bottle but was apprehensive. Went ahead and bought the new style bought praying the scent stays the same until my worst fear came true. This newer version has nothing on the original rare pearls round shaped bottle. The scent was no rich, creamy, decadent, lasted and lasted and above all unique. This is a watered down version and hope and pray someone , somewhere who works on Avon perfume team does their customer satisfaction research and bring back the original Avon Rare Pearls. I have no moved onto other Avon perfumes for now. Avon Attraction is great .

  37. :

Although I like magnolias, the mix with the musk is too much. I gave it a fair chance, but I can’t stand the soapy powdery smell….that’s a no go for me. Will give it away.
Regarding the comparison with Ysatis, I don’t think this has the elegance needed to be on the same league.

  38. :

    4 out of 5

I was gifted with a bottle recently and was anxious to try. I’m sorry to say, it is without a doubt the worst smelling fragrance ever. I apologize to all that enjoy this fragrance but it was not for me.

  39. :

    4 out of 5

Many mention magnolia, but to me is more of a sweet honey warm note that comes through first and then you get flowers and warm powdery notes. It has something reminiscent to Lou Lou by Cacharel just softer, not as loud.
Pepper note somehow bothers me in this to give it a raving review, for me 6/10
So Overall quite pleasant – say for an autumn stroll or in the evening, to spray on a woolen scarf /sweater , overall quite a comforting warm feminine scent, just don’t apply heavilly as it could be too much.

It is the best avon perfume.

  41. :

Rare Pearls is a long lasting creamy feminine floral fragrance, it is softness captured in a bottle and it projects well, lasts long.
I like using this fragrance for outdoors and during a shopping day.

  42. :

    4 out of 5

Classy, elegant, lady-like. Like the name “rare pearls,” this fragrance can fit in anywhere and can be appropriate for day, night, work, special occasion, date night, snuggling up to watch a movie night. I even wear it to bed because it soothes me. It is the perfume of a good, loving mother who puts her hand on your shoulder, “Everything will be okay,” and you know it will be. I get floral, which I assume is the much-talked about magnolia and I do get the heavy honey that deepens the floral. Slightly powdery, too. Avon really does have some good ones and this is one of them.

  43. :

Someone at work has this and I entered the room after she sprayed this on herself. The room smelled lovely and I had to know what it was. I read Rare Pearls has been reformulated? Well, this goes to show not all reformulations are terrible because this smells nothing like the Rare Pearls of a few years ago. This is lovely youthful sweet tempered patchouli with honey and some lovely flower which must be the magnolia. I have no idea what a magnolia is or how it smells but I know I like it now. I previously had a ban on Avon after the unforgivable disappointment that is Outspoken Party by Fergie, but after smelling this I am sheepishly going to have to get it, hat in had, red in the face and defiantly unapologetic.

I have all of the RARE line and I really like this one!
Quite simply I think of this as a CLEAN fragrance.
I am guessing that it is the Magnolia that everyone raves about. To my nose it seems SOAPY and that is A OK WITH ME!
When I first smelled this one I thought it was too floral but the dry down is classic and if you want a scent that is not too sweet it’s a good try.

  45. :

    3 out of 5

This is a beautiful magnolia fragrance. Magnolias are my personal favorite flowers. This scent opens with a delicious plum and a spicy pepper. The magnolia scent lasts a long time and I don’t detect any patchouli or anything else. There is a honey note but it doesn’t seem too strong or it’s just not showing up for me. It seems a bit on the spicy side which could be the pepper and the sweetness of honey is there but it doesn’t smell big on honey. It’s mostlymagnolia and it’s so beautiful. I love to wear it in the evening when I want to catch whiffs of my magnolia. I alternate this scent with another Avon magnolia – Reese Witherspoon’s In Bloom. If you like magnolia scents I highly recommend both Rare Pearls and In Bloom by Reese Witherspoon. This is a gorgeous white floral magnolia perfume. Smells womanly, sweet but not cloying, elegant and soft. One of the most beloved Avon fragrances which continues to sell.

Rare Pearls was forever ruined for me when I had a co-worker who used to douse herself in this stuff. I could smell her coming to work before she arrived, she abused this perfume so badly. Whenever she forgot her scarf or any of her clothing item I could still smell her for hours. Its horrendous for my nose, makes me gag. Its an old lady smell, but a very obnoxious old lady. Massive longevity and sillage. Im talking about the old, round bottle, i have no idea if the new version is the same or not. Very bad experience for me.

  47. :

    3 out of 5

All I have to say, it’s a MUST to include this special gorgeous light fragrance, great for AM and PM, to your collection. Very feminine and unique. Very delighted I have it. Two thumbs up Avon!! 🙂

  48. :

    4 out of 5

I quite like this. It is a warm, sweet floral, on the dry side. I want to describe it as ‘flat’, which makes it sound unpleasant. But it isn’t unpleasant. Maybe ‘flat’ is the wrong word but not sure how else to describe it…perhaps ‘hazy’ or ‘understated’, although they are not what I mean.
It’s definitely grounded by a woody spice which stops it from being a flowery honey-bomb. Pretty and subtle.
I will not be buying any more of this in the foreseeable future because, to be perfectly frank, I have more perfumes than I know what to do with and need to use some up, however, if ever I get to the point that my collection is looking a bit sparse, I will most likely add this to the purchase list.

  49. :

So nice perfume, its so feminine and i like it a lot more than rare gold, its not that sweet, it lasts around 4 hours, same like other more expensive brands. One of the best avon perfumes!

  50. :

Magnolia, plum and patchouli. I like the actual magnolia flower scent but in perfumes, it is so strong that it gives me a headache. The patchouli brings down the sweetness. Too heady for me. Not for the office (please). Evokes a very strong persona. If you like Elizabeth Taylor, Red Door type of scents, you might like this.

This perfume is a spitting image of Pure Poison, but without the expensive price tag! If you want pure poison without breaking you’re wallet I suggest this cheaper clone. I didn’t realize this till this morning I was getting a sweet resident ready for Breakfast at my job and she has a bottle of this sitting in her bathroom, I sprayed this on her neck and one spray was enough to create an elegant wintery cloud that resembles pure Poison the exact same way, long lasting and amazing projection

    Floral, cold and sophisticated.
Not a big fan of floral scents, but this one was nice surprise. Indeed it goes well with little black dress, red lipstick and pearls. Not for every day. For me mostly for house use, since I am not a high heel type. But good enough to smell it on my wrist and shirt while I drink my tea. Nice one.
I had the one in old bottle, should be the same, perhaps it is not.

To Miss.Tara: Unfortunately Rare Pearls and Rare Gold versions in new bottles (2015) are not the same scents. Dilluted, cheapened, anorectic comparing to original ones… big disappoitment for me. I am sending both my bottles back and will be stucking up with old versions. The new ones are not worth the money even if for free. 🙁

    The original:
1-2 ladies in my workplace used to wear this, no, bath in it, to leave a trail everywhere and scent the corridors. No, I won’t say something bad since I terribly and dearly miss my workplace, enough to bath myself in Rare Pearls tonight.
    That’s such a magnolia bomb!
If you like the flower, you can’t go wrong with this. If you detest it, stay away at all costs.
For me, that’s totally a mood perfume, and I feel dizzy in its cloud now!

I never loved Rare Pearls, but I liked it enough as a home scent for awhile. I finally had to pass it on. The magnolia and patch create that rotting flowers in a vase smell on me. It eventually became like Cacharel Eden minus the intrigue and redeeming qualities.

Does anyone know if the “New Design” Rare Pearls of 2015 smells different? They made Rare Pearls and Rare Gold match the style of Rare Amethyst.

I am addicted to this scent. This is the scent of me, I can’t describe it any other way. Rare pearls is just like its name notable but fits in everywhere.

  62. :

Overwhelming with the plum, and I do not smell any sandalwood at all. One small spritz 3 feet from me and I felt like I was in WW1 and had been gassed with the stuff. Brought on the worst asthma attack I have had in years.
This is the reason I am leery of trying anything new from Avon. Although I love Sweet Honesty and Night Magic and wish to heck they would bring Soft Musk back, everything they have come out with in the lately either gives me a migraine or breathing problems. Either its too “fruity” or a heavy sillage bomb.

Rare Pearls is infused with honey and pepper, wrapped by mild florals. This perfume is more of a classic that can be worn out to dinner, in a dressier situation, yet it can also be enjoyed at home relaxing. It’s quiet with an elegance that doesn’t shout out its presence, but with its slightly syrupy quality, warm woods and hint of patchouli, it presents itself as a more mature perfume for a woman who is confident and doesn’t need to be wearing the fragrance of the moment to feel at ease. It’s feminine and pretty, yet doesn’t call attention to itself. This perfume doesn’t wear the person, the person simply wears it and enjoys it. If you’re looking for something different, a perfume that will last more than an hour or two and won’t smell like sugar or fruit, this might be a contender.

    Sweet, exquisite freshness!
The first spritz is love at first sniff and the dreaminess of this perfume just envelops me.
When I need to satisfy my sweet tooth and feel calmed this is the juice I reach for.
I only have 2 Avons presently and I DESPISED Rare Rubies so admittedly I don’t have a lot of experience but this fragrance is sublime. It smells like a designer house, instead of some cheap frag I paid less than 10 bucks for.
This is perfect for the office, running errands or wherever you might venture – non-offensive but still quite pleasing to the noses around you. Sure wish I could layer this with a lotion!

I dont know if I got an old one but it smells like old wet pool towel to me. Does anybody else get this when its on your skin? ~ Or maybe I just smell like old wet pool towels 😛
Update: It smells ok now, maybe it was just that first spray.

At first the black pepper surprised me and I wasn’t sure if I liked it. Then I realised that that’s what makes the scent interesting and I appreciated it. It’s very elegant. It suits a dinner in a fancy restaurant or a business meeting.
Now the bad part… I couldn’t finish my travel size bottle. The more I wore it the more it made me feel gloomy… and ten years older.

I got both Rare Gold and Rare Pearls and have to say that Rare Pearls was definitely my favourite of the two. I adore white florals and this is a very close dupe for my all time love and signature scent Pure Poison by Dior. Of course, it doesnt have the longevity of Dior or the complexity or intensity but it’s cheap enough for you to keep on respraying without fear of breaking the bank, unlike Dior!
If you like white florals you will love this little gem. I’m so glad to have discovered it!

A tarry aldehydic oriental floral on me, strange but rather lovely. It feels classic while at the same time being unmistakeably Avon. Nice.

Dear Friends, when I read your reviews, I envy you soooo much! On me it smells like a mixture of thrown up white flowers with pepper. Such a shame, as I really love the bottle and I wanted so much to love this, but it just didn’t work out! But on others it’s really unique, I guess nobody had ever come up with a scent as original and fascinatig as this one – maybe I’ll have another go with it in 10 years time… Keep on wearing this so that Avon never discontinues it again!

This smells clean, luminous and expensive. I get magnolia and honey, with rosewood, sandalwood and a hint of pepper to give it a sparkling quality. An exquisite perfume, actually quite amazing given the price.

@Flowers Carmel, we are on the same line!)
This really is a non Avon like treasure and yes, agree it resembles Today from the trilogy, or other way around. Classy! And for the prise…. well, Pure Poison has some detergent note on my skin which this one doesn’t.

This is heavier than expected, the honey, plum and pepper very prominent, but not cloying. It’s good for work, I don’t see it as a special occasion frag

Fresh “just got out of the shower” scent. Very simple yet elegant, everyday perfume.

So nice sweet, spicy but fresh white floral with balsamic, woody and a tiny bit chypre undertones. I love it. It is long-lasting but close to the skin. Reminds me a bit of Today by Avon but Rare Pearls is deeper and more elegant. Really classy and not “avon-like” at all.

If I was going to be stranded on Gilligan’s Island and could take a case of perfume but just one scent, this would be it. Love love love it.
I just love this. It is so fresh, clean, feminine.
Rare Pearls had me from hello. First spray, done. Loved it.
I like going to sleep smelling this. There is just something so lovely about it. For me, it’s the absolute best of the Rare line that Avon has.
Just noticed that there is a solid of this. Might be nice for my purse. Going to give the solid a try –

I found this perfume from complimenting a frontdesk lady at a clinic. She told me it was rare pearls. It is nice and pleasant smelling for daytime wear. It has a feminine comforting smell about it.
