I bought this on a lark because I am very interested in prominent clove notes.
Interestingly enough, I don’t like this on my skin, but I find it works very well in warmer weather when sprayed on sheets about an hour before bedtime.

One of the best values on the market. Unique fresh scent that has an airy vibe to it, hence it’s name Rainforest. Above average performance in longevity with modest projection for those that prefer their colognes to be discovered and not announced. Rainforest smells as if it was from the house of Dior or Guerlain… it does not smell cheap. I like to wear it on rainy summer days. Try it on a rainy day in warm weather and this gem just shines. The key is not to overspray because it then gets too synthetic. I have two colognes from the house of Pino Silvestre. This one and the original in the green bottle and pine freshness. Both are among my most complimented out of my cheaper fragrances. Neither will impress fragrance snobs. But I don’t care because they are both winners in my world.

Not to be confused with the original as Rainforest has no pine and is not related other than the shape of the bottle. First off, this is really good and never mentioned. Rainforest is a refreshing, uplifting citrus aromatic that is both simple and interesting with a similar effect of Dior Homme Cologne 2013 with more aromatic notes which are nicely blended. Easy to wear and enjoyed by others, this smells modern yet significant as it seems to stand out among a sea of freshies. Not only does PSR smell great, but performance is pretty good as well with a single spray lasting 5-6 hours with good projection. The metallic layer on the box is beautiful while the bottle is adorable, fading down from black to blue in the iconic pine cone shape of the original PS. Costing only $15 on US ebay for a large bottle, it is almost laughable that others have not tried it yet. If you are a fan of fresh fragrances and are open to cheapies, than give this a sniff or even a safe blind buy with little investment.

Got the 10 oz spray for under $8 – and well worth it. It is unlike anything I’ve smelled before, and believe it’s good for a cool spring day, summer, and a cool fall day…too cold = no dice. It doesn’t seem to last on me, though.

I’ve tried this several times and I looove it,I’ve made my decision about buying it for my hubby
Please don’t let the reasonable price tag to fool you,it doesn’t smell cheap..it’s citrus vibe, which is dominant, reminds me dior homme cologne(which I love)but this is much better,it’s stronger, more woodsy and more masculine and less sour.if you liked that one but it was too soft for you,try rain forest
I can’t explain men fragrances I just know it smells sooo good,is longlasting and well projecting and is budget friendly, what do you want more
It doesn’t smell as a rain forest IMO and I agree it has a synthetic vibe which is by the way not bad at all

Very nice synthetic freshness! “What?”, you could argue….Nice synthetic? Well, yes. It has nothing to do with with any forest or natural things yet its sooooo nice! Maybe because of the unnatural vibe. If you do like those canned fizzy, artificial refreshment drinks or juicy tropical cocktails, this is for you. Fruity, zesty, first sharp then smooth, warm, fresh, invigorating and fairly long lasting also. A great, carefree synthetic scent with a decent character to it. Price vs value is very good also! The bottle has an amazing shape and color, very nice packaging! Perfect for spring & summer!

Freshness is OK with me, but this one is really zesty, you almost don’t sense the citruses in the start, the floral/green notes take over and give it a lovely scent of freshness. Great in hot/worm days.

I got a 125ml bottle for £12.75 delivered (also “Absolute Oud”,,”Underwood” and “Original” for same price) and for the money I class this as an absolute steal.
This is probably my favourite of the line so far, it’s fresh and sits close (in a good way) so you can be a bit heavier in application.
When settles down after a few minutes it’s a soft calm scent.
Reminds me of something I smelled and liked when younger but can’t remember.
Two Thumbs Up from me! 🙂

I agree with the review below, after a pungent opening reminscent of a cleaning product, it quickly settlesdown into something very close to Dior Homme Cologne 2013. However, something about it comes off as being more synthetic – it’s very subtle, but there’s a synthetic sweet note in there which reminds me of those gel based air fresheners very popular in cars throughout Asia. It’s note a bad thing per say, and is only really apparent if you get your nose right into it, but given i already own DHC i can’t really take the step back from the quality of that fragrance. Tha said, it’s a great, simple and fresh summer scent for anyone on a budget. You could do far worse for the same or even double amount of money.

Bought it few days ago along with Underwood. 6 euros each,75ml. Nice smell,it lasted around 6 hours.Very sharp and fresh lemony ,warm weather only. Kinda reminds of Dior Home cologne 2013,in fact it smells a lot like it imo.

Totally unrelated to its brother underwood. Starts off unimpressive with mostly lavender standing out. Then after a few minutes it develops into a sweeter tropical scent that reminds me of some type of candy or fruit I can’t really pinpoint at the moment. This doesn’t sound very appealing, but I must add that it still holds a masculine vibe throughout this tranformation. Definitely a different fragrance that is deserving of the name rainforest. I also must add it smells quite natural, unlike most of the synthetic aromatics you find in the majority of fragrances today. On the box it mentions the use of natural essential oils, and I tend to believe this is actually the case for this series of scents. An excellent choice for the summer and spring, and it only costs $17.95 shipped for 4.2 fl oz if you know where to purchase it. Definitely recommended.
