I LOVE natural perfume, and I LOVE woods, and this fragrance ticks both boxes beautifully. It has the complexity I yearn for in a natural, it lasts several hours (fairly close to the skin on me, which I prefer anyway), and takes me to the Pacific Northwest, my favorite place in the US.
I notice evergreens, but also a fair amount of juniper. Juniper fragrances usually perform terribly on my skin, smelling like body odor, but I think the 100% natural essence is an entirely different animal. I have tried 3 perfumes by this house, and I adore every single one of them.
Suzy knows what she’s doing and is a natural perfumer to keep an eye on, for sure!
