A lovely, “clean”, nice perfume. Kind of creamy.

A very good perfume for when you want to smell just a little bit nicer, but you don’t really know what mood you’re in. A bit of rainwater, a bit of salt, a little bit of citrus and flowers. Completely inoffensive, and mostly just functional.

My daughter received a bottle of this as a gift after she took my sample of it that came with my last Sephora purchase and fell in love. She’s 11 and this is her first scent. It is really strong in the beginning but wears off fast.
I have to say it is totally her right from the beginning. I was expecting something earthier with the name being rain but it is maybe more a light musk. Very clean. It lingers behind her. So in the car and on her clothes the staying power is stronger than on the skin.

I always meant to test this while in Sephora, and lo and behold they sent a sample of this with an order. Not what I was expecting at all with this scent. Not a clean scent, not a rain scent. I cannot pick up the notes listed. If I pick up any note at all, it is a musk scent (even though musk is not listed here as a note). Very much unisex, even perhaps masculine to some noses.
I agree with the reviews saying that this is synthetic smelling. This is not bad, but still…just synthetic smelling. Puts me in mind of a CK unisex frag (which, to me, many CK frag’s also often seem synthetic and unisex to me); but unlike most CK frag’s, this has basically “0” longevity.

Too synthetic

To me this is just simply awful. I like clean scents but this one is far too synthetic and cheap-smelling.
Can’t say I get the bergamot even in the opening, and the patchouli seems strangely absent aswell. All I can smell are some kind of weird white flowers. In the opening a lot more simple and fresh than in the dry down. Not offensive at all, but not pleasant either. Like something a very young girl chooses as her first perfume from H&M and then forgets about as soon as she borrows something better from big sister.

Beautiful! Like a heavy rain hit and kicked up some earthy flowers in the process. Very unique.

I’m fairly new to perfumes, and still figuring out what works for me. This looked like a good bet – I was hoping for something clean, fresh smelling, and not too strong or offensive for the office. It smelled nice enough on test paper, but on my skin, it skewed very male with a bitter, almost antiseptic note. (I think I may not do bergamot very well.) Very much like men’s cologne!
The smell made me think of younger guys, just out of high school, working in retail selling tech items (think cell phones, computers). I can imagine someone like this awkwardly wearing a suit and this scent in an attempt to come across as a bit more professional and grown-up than he might feel, and as a way to look presentable for sales work.
As others side, I didn’t really smell the patchouli and was surprised to see it listed as a note. Patchouli usually has a very earthy smell to me, and this was very clean smelling, not earthy at all.

Clean Rain Reserve is fresh and inoffensive, as a previous reviewer has mentioned. On me, the floral and bergamot are present, but the patchouli barely comes out, even many hours later after the initial spray. The florals are not really strong, but they seem to vary in their intensity based on skin chemistry. It also smells wet and a little soapy. This one is good for the office or everyday living. But, doesn’t seem particularly high quality enough to justify the price, and certainly not unique enough to get excited over.

Screechy white floral bergamot. First spray causes instant fits of sneezing, followed by headache. This offering is more uniseX than the others in this line, but on me it still skews male.

Classic rain smell (meaning rain fragrance oils.) Aquatic lily of the valley type. This style doesn’t sit on my skin well and this pretty much exemplified that. I didn’t get the patchouli or the bergamot very much.

I received an 8ML supply of this as part of my monthly ScentBird subscription (which is great btw). This fragrance is very fresh and clean, inoffensive, and great for any occasion. I would say better for Spring or Summer though. Lasts pretty long and projects well, since its an EDP concentration. I probably would buy a bottle of it eventually once my 8ML runs out. It is very pleasant. I dont really feel its very “floral” as fragrantica says…to me its more watery smelling.
