Description
The perfume house from Dubai Lattafa Perfumes presents successor to the famous fragrance Raghba, which will be introduced as more intense, smoky and woodier version of the original fragrance. Name of the perfume is Raghba Wood Intense and its highlights precious accords of various types of trees blended with sweet caramel and liquorice on an oriental base. Character of the edition is highlighted with various raw materials which seem harmonious and bold when blended together.
Considering that Lattafa Perfumes is specialized in oriental perfumery, Raghba collection provides fragrances in that spirit. The first fragrance for men is Raghba, which, unlike the new, more intense successor combined powdery iris aromas with elegant violet leaves, while character is provided by masculine aromas of leather, amber and milky wood. Sophisticated freshness comes from citruses. Raghba collection includes two other editions: Raghba Women and Raghba Classic.
The new version is aimed at those who like extremely woody fragrances, strong compositions and hot accords. Perfume Raghba Wood Intense opens with notes of cedar, guaiac wood, liquorice and caramel, followed by precious oud, sugar and cashmere wood. The base supports the composition with its warm and sensual aromas of musk, amber, vanilla, oak moss and incense.
Raghba Intense Wood will be launched in November 2014 and can be purchased as 100ml Eau de Parfum.
elagin83 – :
Simply one of the best perfumes that I have ever tried, it has a beautifully balanced oriental woody scent which last a very long time, I got a lot of compliments from friends for the scent.
However, the scent is one of the scents that you will find people either love it or hate it, nothing in between.
hov_am – :
Weak but smells nice.
Mellowvik – :
Purchased today. Wearing it at home on left arm. Valentino Uomo Intense on right.
Merely to try them out so not a proper wearing by any means.
Initial impression:
Not the powerhouse that I was expecting. Good, yes, but nothing like Jacques Bogart OMS Gold or Ted Lapidus Pour Homme territory.
Time will tell about this, though. It does need a proper wearing to ascertain this. I’m just saying that it doesn’t fill the room as I expected from a cold weather woody scent with a reputation.
As for smell, I’ve learnt that you’ve got to reserve judgement for a number of wearings and many hours for each wearing.
This is simply a first try impression.
It reminds me of Muski by the same house more than the Raghba in the slightly pyramid shaped bottle.
Muski after I’ve been stood outside for half an hour on Guy Fawkes Night poking a dry wood bonfire and having smoke blow around me on the breeze. That’s not a critism.
All good so far. Early days. Winter is coming.

I just took the cap off the bottle yesterday to let my Son sniff the nozzle and my whole bed room smelled of the cologne for an hour afterwards. This is the most potent thing I own! I also know my Husband wore this once in my car and I kept getting whiffs of it on and off for a few weeks. One of my Husbands blind buys after researching. Its absolutely lovely but a bit much in the heat and humidity of Florida. Will be looking forward to smelling in cooler weather. I recommend only if you want a strong fragrance that smells of sweet wood/incense.
Belka.ya – :
First few moments: syrupy sweet caramel wood. If you could harvest maple syrup from agarwood it would smell like this.
As it settles I am reminded of shisha’s sweet scent and nostalgic for a he days when friends of mine would go out to a hooka bar.
About an hour in sandalwood becomes dominant. It’s a really nice sandalwood too. Smokey rather than dusty. I am also reminded of the sweet woody scent of By The Fireside.
As it dries down the incense notes come out. It settles into a really good sandalwood incense blend.
Almost 24 hours later the incense is still there.
I’m definitely impressed with this.

REVIEW – RAGHBA WOOD INTENSE
This beauty came a few days ago. I wanted to review it but the nature of this Fragrance is as such as it takes a while for you to understand it completely and appreciate the beauty of it.
First of all let’s say it’s a quality scent. Top notch. You might like it or not but this is definition of a scent well done. If you want to know how a scent develops and changes over time get this. This is niche quality scent at a price you won’t even find designer one’s (even really cheap one’s)
PACKAGING : Beautifully patterned box, better than most middle eastern scent boxes. 7/10.
BOTTLE – Heavy bottle. Has wood patterns and a heavy base. Wide and relatively short. Looks expensive in a wardrobe and actually does justice to the juice inside the bottle unlike most mid-eastern bottles. 8/10
SCENT – Top : Top has simple cedarwood backed by thick dark caramel. Not sweet. The scent is covered by insence from top to bottom so smoky sweet and woody opening.
Mid – The most deepest part of this scent. Same notes as top but backed by musk. A bit more sweeter and almost like a toned down Incense Stick.
Drydown: Bit resinous than the Mid and Top but overall the same. Smells like Pencil Shavings. Much more smokier than any other part of the Fragrance.
Overall 8/10 for the scent.
PERFORMANCE – Longetivity 12/10 Lasts for weeks on clothes. Literally weeks not figuratively.
SILIAGE – Now this is interesting. The siliage is week and it’s for the good. Idk if it was intended or not but this makes this scent beautiful.
This scent on beast mode performance would make everyone around you ill. So good news it doesn’t fill a room or something. Projects very well for 2-3 hours. Then remains close to you for days. You get it when you walk. Decent trail too. 7/10
COMPLIMENTS – None (maybe because I’m a 20 year old). This doesn’t get me compliments. I’ve received comments saying “This seems natural” and “yeah nothing special”
And that’s what this scent is,not special. This is a natural scent with natural ingredients. When you wear this you seem content, accomplished and in equilibrium with yourself and nature around you.
Sometimes simple is special, and that’s what this scent is.
USAGE – This is not the scent you go out with. Infact this is something you come to when you get back from work or after a tiring day and take a bath.
Perfect for religious ceremonies (and prayers) as it includes a lot of Incense which is used in Temples and Mosques alike.
Beautiful on a cold night out too.
Age Group – 30+ Men
25 + women.
EDIT : Edited just to mention if you apply too much of it, this comes out at as Plasticky and a tad bit synthetic.
Also the only down side to this fragrance in term of quality is the initial alcohol blast which is stronger than the usual ones and lasts well about 10-15 seconds.
Hutsstorb – :
Had the chance to compare this to Tobacco Oud and they are like twins, not identical but twins.
aleksandrrazin – :
A sweet, woody scent with a pleasant hint of smokiness, all with the potential to be a possible powerhouse. As for presentation, I like the nice, solid feel to the bottle. Not bad at all!
Solisoins – :
Beast mode stuff… Forget about over applying, even more then 2 sprays on skin can make it very offensive and synthetic. Strictly not a summer scent. I wear it rarely on cold or pleasant breezy nights with strict only 2 sprays slightly under my shirt neck and got compliments. I never came across any fragrance as cheap as this one and is not linear. It changes alot and I don’t get bored with it’s longevity. The over applying it make it smells like “burnt sugar” and wood but correct use makes it “burnt wood” with sugar. Definitely not a every day versatile fragrance but worth collecting for the price and uniqueness.
haidaicek – :
Absolutely gorgeous! I want keen on Raghba Lattafa due to the Oud but in this intense version for men, it’s soft and as a female I prefer this. Very intense smokey softly oud woody sweet. Very well blended and smooth. Love it!
danilko13 – :
If you are looking for a great priced, unique woody oriental, it works. My chemistry worked with it. Its not run of the mill by any stretch. I like the licorice and woods together. I cant wait to layer it with Hypnotic Poison EDP
Kd85tvwddrings – :
I have Raghba and Raghba Wood intense both… Now in Raghba you get loud Caramel, sugar and vanilla touch which is good in winter wear and this one is close to Raghba however it got this synthetic plastic and incense vibe that gives people headache.
If you have raghba then you dont have to buy this one aswell as in my opinion Raghba is far better and this one is just an incense and cheap plastic (soo called woddy) version of it.
Silage and longevity is moderate
3.5 Out of 10 for me…
DONT GO WITH THE REVIEWS HERE AND BLIND BUY IT OR YOU WILL END UP WITH REGRETSSSSSS!!!!!!
Goormawrirm – :
I recently discovered that I enjoy incense and woody fragrances more than anything else… This fragrance is nothing short of amazing with a woodiness that’s out of this world. I get the same oud I enjoy in CD’s Oud Ispahan in this, the sweetness is more of an undertone, which works perfectly for me as the woody notes shine remarkably. I love this so much that I’d like to try out the original since it has been compared to this.
Abultulky – :
very goooood incense vanilla
romka_s – :
This smells great…with a hint of burnt plastic.
I’d like to give you guys another update in a week?
But it smells like incense mix with sugar and burning wood.
Would I buy this again…No!
I order this from the UAE store…Took almost a month to get here.
Willing to trade.

You, yeah, you, average fragrance browser, the one with nautica voyage sitting on your bathroom sink, almost gone. I know you are looking for another frag. Stop, I know you want a cologne with great performance thats relatively cheap and smells good, as are most. But if your experience with colognes is limited to macy’s and belk, this is most likely a no go. Now, as a cologne enthusiast, I appreciate the uniqueness of raghba wood intense, but I do not recommend it to many. I know the notes listed look enticing, the vanilla, sugar, and caramel. Stay on track, this is not a universally appealing scent. It’s extremely thick, like tar almost. If you can’t don’t even like obsession by CK or aramis, there is no way in hell that you will enjoy this. Go try la nuit d’lhomme to slowly branch out before even dare to come here.
Now, for the cologne freaks out there, this is one of the most unique oriental gourmands. It’s beast mode, absolutely beast mode in every aspect of the term. For the price, the juice you get seems niche, almost. On me, ladies don’t seem to like it, but I have gotten complements from guys, whatever that means. I don’t recommend blind buying this unless you have the money at disposal or if you love orientals.
Longevity: 10, beast mode
Sillage: 10, beast mode
Scent: So dependent it’s not funny, ? 1-10

This juice makes me rethink the value system of the Western Fragrances.. How can this house put out such an unbelievable Perfume with such exceptional Quality and charge so little?….The Mass profit markets in Europe and the US are about to be Seriously put to the test in the upcoming years ahead as the middle Eastern Fragrance Market world encroaches on their territory.
This Fragrance is absolutely AMAZING!!! In my top 10 without A doubt …I cannot stop wearing it.. It is VERY strong so be careful… only 1 or 2 spray at A time..its A BEAST.. I just got back from A store and one of the female employees said out loud from 7 feet away..( Oh my god, what is that smell…Who smells that Good)>>she keep repeating it aloud..I said nothing. Forget Spending hundreds of dollars on Tauer and the Creeds & Niche of the world and Explore the Arabian Fragrances …For Pennies on the Dollar….its an uncharted WORLD!!!!
10/10 Absolutely Amazing Fragrance
I cannot wait to try more from this House

Very smoky, woody, oriental scent….

I had such i high hopes for this and when i got it i tried to like it but Nothing special,to me it smells like something from a super market. Nothing special, nothing arabic, sweat or oudish, no longevity and no projection.
wallex – :
i dont know what you people are talking about…this is really weak with no sillage at all and longevity just ok!! i have to press my nose to skin so i can smell something, this perfume its a joke!! waisting my money
dopelniva – :
There is a lot of hype about its performance and smell. You guys need to tone it down as it does not deserve all that. The lattafa night oud smells better and is stronger than this and the raghba smells better and stronger than this.
vasika_575 – :
Wood intense is a much harsher version of the original. Though like this one, I much prefer the original because it is more soft and wearable. The difference in when I would wear this over the original is if I’m outside in the winter, as opposed to inside in the winter
PrivratniK007 – :
I typically need a “cooling off” period between buying/receiving a fragrance and writing a review, because usually, the excitement of a NEW PERFUMMMMEEEEEE can cloud my judgement and objectivity about its actual quality.
… so we can call this a preliminary review.
I am truly shocked by how much I enjoy this fragrance. I am not an oud lover (not by a long shot) – I typically find it very dirty-smelling, especially after it’s been sitting on skin for an hour or so. Nope nope nope. I am also not typically one for a super sweet scent. Sugar cubes in the note pyramid will earn a fragrance a summary dismissal from me.
Yet here I am, completely swept off my feet by Raghba Wood Intense. I mean… who would’ve thunk?
For one, this is not a ‘proper’ oud (and thank God for that!). It’s not heavy. Intense, YES, but heavy? No, not really. It’s not dirty. Earthy, yes, but dirty? No, not really. I’m really glad for how “Western” this oud is. It’s the woodiness without the stinkiness! RESULT!
The sugar… which I expected to be a type of Pink-Sugar-candy-floss mess, is actually very delicious. A bit dark and burned-smelling, which is good, as it keeps it from getting sickly and too cutesy.
There IS a plasticky-rubbery something in here as well, but not overwhelmingly dark and rubbery like in Fahrenheit; it’s more like that slightly sweet rubber-meets-the-road scent of braking too hard. Like an F1 racetrack a bit. Closer to Bvlgari Black’s rubber note. I REALLY like it.
It opens very rough around the edges (if you ask me, the opening is the only ‘tell’ that this is a budget fragrance), with an onslaught of citrusy, spicy, ambery woodiness, but give it 15 minutes and it opens up into a really smooth, deep, comforting concoction. I’ve worn it to bed every night since I got it. (p.s. it smells SO good on fabric. My pillowcases are the stuff of DREAMS at the moment.)
An oud fragrance, “comforting”. What kind of sorcery is this? Next thing I’ll be waxing poetic about Oud Wood.
(I will say, though, as an aside, this does not ring masculine to me AT ALL. And I’m very open minded. I just find this a little too… something, for a man.)
shippi – :
honestly this smells like a mixture of wood, the arab corner store and a dirty man. i really wanted to like this especially since i tend to like darker scents but in my opinion this scent is hyped up for no reason. i actually think its gross. i blind bought this and i totally regret it.
alexander911 – :
At first I liked this one but then realised it had a lot of synthetic notes about it. As far as woody / spicy fragrances go they should be 100% natural smelling. Great silage and lasting power though, everyone will notice it.
I have 100+ niche samples for swap within Europe – updated spreadsheet of samples on my profile, get in touch!
serglvenok – :
goes on like Raghba, sweet and woodier, but dries down less sweet, softer, not as strong and more powdery and woody
feldGrege – :
Strange enough, my review submitted anonymously, even though I logged in.
Love it! Extremely strong, somewhat synthetic, burned sugary and licorice notes with wood. Extreme longevity ( I can smell it in my elbow pulse after a shower scrub 12 hours after application! )
Harsh on initial application, i do not see much evolution between notes.
I get an amazing pleasurable wave every time I take a wiff of this fragrance (after it has aired out a bit for about 30 minutes )
Be careful with getting it on natural fiber clothing, it will linger.
This is my favorite perfume right now in the rainy and cold end of summer. Going to try more ouds thanks to this one ( yes, I am well aware there is no natural oud here )
At the price, I would encourage you to try it.
Perfume appreciation is very personal, don’t let the snobbery of some of the comments discourage you.
I used to love citrusy and aquatic smells 10 years ago, but now most perfumes I try in the “general” market leave me disappointed, it is like they are the cinema of today, with broad blockbuster notes aiming to please the teenagers.
It would really be helpful to have key favorite perfume icons next to reviewer usernames, as before one reads their criticism it would be great to see what it is they love. Chances are, you would stop reading right after seeing their tastes.
How a perfume plays for you depends on your body chemistry and lifestyle. Me being an artist exposed to harsh scents, using the chainsaw, driving a dirty car loaded with supplies, cycling, carrying things and washing arms up to the elbows regularly, and being outdoors, this perfume is a match made in heaven.
I would advise office dwellers to tread lightly with applying this fragrance. I am ordering many other Ouds inspired by this successful purchase.
I will be trying natural oud extracts, but I would like to find a direct supplier from a plantation, so that wild trees are not affected.
This has been discovery of the year for me, a new direction
were12 – :
i personally dont really like it but this is one of those frags which smells awful upon smelling up close.i enjoy it when it lingers in the air.i prefer raghba over this, and their new release NAKAHAT AL OUD is on another level.
ChrisnowierWS – :
This is a beast mode fragrance..the projection and longevity is huge..initially i didnt like the fragrance…but fell in love with it as time progressed..but the major problem is that the people around me found the smell very offensive and repulsive and requested me not to wear it again and i only sprayed it once on me…but i totally loved it…But as we all know that we wear fragrance for others to like and not just ourselves….so cant wear it now…it is summer now and i think i will try again this during the winter…as that could be a major reason for not liking by others around me…
misha221103 – :
Perhaps Raghba = 24 Gold (which is a bit too sweet) and Raghba Wood Intense = 24 Gold Oud (which have that burnt sugar rubber smell)…
So maybe I’ll just go with Raghba Classic, Pure Oudi, and Ameer
newsmakers – :
I’ll try and talk you out of it, it’s hideous! I love Arabian scents, and can even appreciate those that I dislike.
I dislike this and can’t appreciate it, because, to me, it has no redeeming features, apart from its tenacious longevity. I’ll give it that.
It’s a waste of time sending you a sample when it’s only £11 for a bottle on eBay. Makes great bathroom spray, as long as you don’t get it on your fingers lol!
My advice is to keep your £11 and get a bottle of Oud Laosi by Anfar. It’s about the same price on eBay, and even if you don’t like it, you’ll appreciate its quality and longevity, and nice bottle. Other good Arabian scents at this price are Lattafa Pure Oudi and Raghba Classic, Also some Ard Al Zaafaran offerings have no presence on Fragrantica or on the Internet, but make great blind buys.
Alternatively, you can buy Raghba Wood Intense, and be confident that you have a “cover all sins” room spray!’
Hope this helps 🙂 And I’ll look forward to your review- whatever you choose, please put it on this page 😀
YSteqhanY – :
Over 40 years ago, at junior school, our hot water came from an Ascot gas water heater, with a pilot flame. We also had plastic drinking straws for our milk (before Thatcher stopped free milk at schools). As naughty kids, we used to stick the straws into the opening of the water heater and light them, creating interesting plastic shapes, flames and a repulsive burning plastic smell, before quenching them under the tap.
I have Raghba, Raghba Classic and Pure Oudi by Lattafa, all fantastic, but Wood Intense takes me back to the naughty schoolboy, burning plastic straws, but this time, quenching them in original Raghba, pepper and used kitchen cleaner! What a mess! I’m astonished that several well respected YouTube reviewers have given this the thumbs up.
I see other reviews on here that I sadly ignored as I was convinced that this was a “dead cert” in terms of what I like. Phrases like “synthetic disaster”, “very unpleasant” and others crop up here often enough for me to now lament my own stupidity.
I’m so disappointed with this and, sitting here approx 1 hour after application, can see that this scent has no redeeming features, apart from the longevity, perhaps. Sadly, longevity with this revolting, scratchy and disturbing scent is nothing more than a curse!
fleellipt – :
Okay…So I get the ‘smells like Raghba’ or ’24 Gold’ but that is but a tiny part of the story.
I cannot understand the criticism waged against this great fragrance?
The opening is a smokey, dense guaic wood and creamy sandalwood which doesn’t quit, it’s peppered and spicy. This scent to me comes off as more of an incense based thing than anything else. Sure there’s that sugar sweet Arabic tone to the whole composition but all in all much less cloying than the original Raghba or indeed 24 Gold.
Intense wood actually delivers more promise of woodiness than 24 Gold Oud edition did and I was even pleased with that one.
I’m so glad I didn’t get the original Raghba (although very nice) as I felt I had that base well and truly covered with the Scent Story fragrances I own. Intense wood on the other hand is a valued fragrance in my arsenal.
Last well on my skin and there’s enough of everything else going on to counter the cloying sweetness…at this price you can’t complain, it’s a real winner this juice.
Dantent – :
This is not for a heavy handed person.3 sprays max will last all day and have a 2 feet cloud around deep into the scent. I used to love her but I grew tired of her quickly. After 3 or 4 wearings I grew tired of this just like 24 Gold. It’s very intense and a heavy pounding gourmand scent. Burnt sugar is the best way to describe it. For guys and gals that love beastly gourmands this is right up your alley. In the end it’s just to intense for me.
Oleg29 – :
disappointment… i was expecting a smoky, (wo)oudy powerhouse fragrance… what i get here is a lot of cloying (repulsive, very synthetic) sugar/caramel note in the opening… too much artificial sweetness… after a while (1h)0comes out guaiacwood (pure guaiacol)with hint of vanilia and after about 4 disappears leavin a slightly (chemi)trail…and no oud!!!
cithromaxer – :
Aerohoplenerixfs – :
Doesn’t compare to Kalemat at all, after owning ameer al oudh thought id give the ragbha a try and found the wood intense certainly put me off ever smelling the original ragbha – sorry
vs5576 – :
I really like this. Though in the beginning it has a synthetic opening its very Middle East. This doesn’t smell like my favorite fragrance of all time . Amber absolute. But i will say its a strong woody incense version of 24gold by scentstory. I will warn you, this is a commitment. You put this on in the morning, your wearing this to the shower next morning.

What else could be expected out of cheapy cheap… it cost USD 8 in Dubai for this synthetic disaster. I guess, the bottle & packaging itself is more than the perfume price. What quality one could expect from such a cheap offer.
voronina10 – :
Lots of positive reviews – but sadly for me it’s a disappointment .
I own original raghba & all the 24 range . All of those smell of quality ingredients beyond their £ tag – especially raghba. Wood intense to me smells of synthetic woods only & badly synthetic. Also the incense smells plastic too.
Please do not buy this thinking it’s going to be a woodier 24 gold after reading these reviews – ITS FAR FROM IT. Better off buying 34 gold oud or AL REHAB SULTAN AL OUD ROLL ON OIL – much better quality

6 weeks wait for this… nice packaging and robust bottle but what about the juice? On opening similar to the original ragbha unisex but then…it changes to a dark slightly sweet woody smoky gorgeous scent. This is truly stunning if you like your middle eastern scents. I will test this tonight at work and provide an update on performance and compliments
Update:
Well it certainly lasts a long time didn’t project quite as much as I thought it would. Although 2 female colleagues did compliment me on it. Remains fairly linear but is a beautiful scent. You get that burnt sweet woodsy dry down which is perfect for this time of year. Definitely recommend buying it but I have to see the original unisex is a better performer in all aspects ,spillage, longevity and compliment getter but it’s a close race

Very harsh opening, and yes it does smell like Maggi spices mixed with 24-GOLD. But only for the first 10 minutes or so if you sniff your skin up close. I don’t think it is meant to be smelled like that. This is a strong scent! Give it a few minutes, maybe 30??, to settle down a bit.
Its an incense stick, very smoky, and very close to 24 GOLD in my opinion. So close that I am a little disappointed that I made a redundant purchase. But, i have a small bottle of 24 gold and the price on this was unbeatable (3 times cheaper to even 24 Gold!!!)
Its a good scent but not very versatile. Will last me a long time.

I also bought this based on recommendation from Lex (on Youtube) and i really like it. It is very potent, very unique and very woody indeed. It is not something you smelled somewhere before (unless you own lots of niches maybe, not sure about those). I really do recommend this. Very high quality presentation and scent for that money. I am going to buy Raghba next. 🙂
Sagat111 – :
Blind bought this after recommendations on here and the review on YouTube from “Fragrances with Lex” which you should check out.
I got mine from the UAE after 3 weeks shipping and wore it for a couple days. To me it’s a lot lik an incense stick burning; heavy incense aroma followed by wood and a smoky accord. It smells more masculine to me and I wouldn’t want my girlfriend to smell like this but my bottle states “For Him-Her” so Lattafa is marketing this as unisex.
You won’t get a fragrance this good anywhere else without spending triple what you pay for this.

This is delightful. If I didn’t look it up I never would have guessed it was for men, versus being unisex. That might be why it took a few wears before I really started to like it. It’s comfortable to wear, a little strong, long lasting. I like it on a sweater day like today.

it smells like a cough syrup with mostly smoky incense scent. Ultimate longevity, over sprayed on my clothing and detergent washed, the scent is still there. EROKEZIK – :
Such an awesome smell. I was turned on to this one by Lex Ellis on the “Fragrances with Lex” YouTube channel. Anyway this one smells like burnt, smokey woods and oud with a hint of sweetness. This is a sexy, mature, manly scent and shouldn’t be ignored, especially since it can be had for relatively cheap. If you’re looking to explore the house of Lataffa, start with this one. Great performance as well.
Projection: 9/10 – Not total beast mode but well above average on me.
Longevity: 9/10 – This should get you through an entire day
Overall Smell: 10/10 – To me this is everything I would want in a woodsy scent. The name describes it perfectly.

Raghba + guaiac and smoke. Ummm, no.
Don’t get me wrong, I love Raghba (and don’t get me started on Raghba Classic, oh my god! <3 ). I just don’t feel these additions improve it.
marav11 – :
Nice, long lasting and I mean long lasting like 74 hours straight. Lots of oud and vanilla.
lovely_queen – :
I had big expectations before purchasing it. I have had the original one and it was a bit too sweet. Maybe other than being too sweet, but it was too similar to something I had already(24 GOLD). When I saw the “Wood Intense” term, I told myself that this is going to be an oud bomb fragrance.
I was wrong. This fragrance contains a lot of wood and name is correct. It isn’t oud though.
When you spray it, big blast of vanilla-amber sweetness will hit you like the original one. Right after couple seconds, original DNA goes at the background and you get a big Guaiac wood note. Guaiac wood isn’t alone, you also have a lot of oakmoss with it. Oakmoss gives a vibe to this fragrance that you will smell it from fragrances that are released around 70s and 80s. Reason why that because fragrances from 70s and 80s carry oakmoss note most of the time.
Wood Intense doesn’t really change. You have the original’s DNA at the background and Guaiac wood, oakmoss will last until the fragrance dies on your skin. People felt oud in this fragrance as I see at the top but I didn’t get any oud but a lot of Guaiac wood.
This is very strong. People mentioned that this is less stronger than original but this one lasted 2 times more than the original did. Also projects very well. Longevity is around 10 hours and projection is up to 6 hours.

The oud is very light if there is any. When I sprayed this on my arm for the very first time, the only thing I got was burned sugar and I really didn’t like it. Once it has calmed down, then it becomes more and more pleasant to the nose. I have both Raghba and 24 Gold and I have to say that this one smells more similar to 24 Gold than raghba. I don’t know why it is called Raghba wood intense when there is no wood in it but what I do is that I balance the sweet smell of this with some Arabian Oud Woody Intense. The result is perfection, especially for colder weather and for night time. The bottle is really good though.

I purchased this bottle after all the great reviews and comparisons to 24 gold. This is but a richer and
