Description

The composition of Katy Perry Purr is developed by Firmenich perfumer house, combining top notes of peach, forbidden apple, gardenia and green bamboo with the heart of jasmine, pink freesia and Bulgarian rose and the base of vanilla orchid, creamy sandalwood, white amber, coconut and musk.

The image of the bottle is in the form of a cat with eyes like jewels, colored in metallic shades of lavender.

The advertising poster, signed by Miles Aldridge, shows the famous pop star dressed in a pink and purple latex cat suit playing with a huge ball of wool.

Katy Perry Purr is available as 30, 50 and 100 ml EDP and an accompanying collection of bath foam and body lotion.
Purr was launched in 2010.

I only wear this to the gym or when I go grocery shopping. It is weak and the smell is quite generic, but pleasant. This is something to wear when you want to smell clean and simple. You could probably wear this to office, because it’s not too childish. At least not as childish as Meow.
The bottle, on the other hand, is GORGEOUS!

Update: I’ve been wearing this for a few days now and kept trying to figure out what this perfume reminded me of. It smells very similar to Avril Lavignes Forbidden Rose!

I was researching the notes in both purr and meow and figured I would like meow more. So I went with that one at first.
However, I found purr yesterday at Shoppers Drug Mart for $20, so I figured I’d give it a shot. I’m glad I did! It is much milder and more floral than Meow.
I’m wearing it right now and it smells lovely! I keep getting whiffs of bamboo and coconut. Very nice aroma. I definitely like this better than the super sweet meow.

I do admit I bought this primarily for the bottle as I have two cats and LOVE cat paraphernalia (though don’t own much as a lot is kind of tacky).
I was not expecting to like this fragrance as much as I ended up doing! Could it be the coconut/peach sweetness? It is so well blended I was having a bit of trouble making out the florals but I think that actually a good thing.
And it is lasting a lot longer than I was thought it would too which was a nice suprise on top of it as well as getting it at Shoppers in Canada for the 19.99 with the “ahem” extra “over 55” 20 percent off on Thursdays. Good stuff, I’m very pleased!

I really enjoy this fragrance, to me its a very adult night out scent. Its a deep, rich scent – like a watered down version of Alien. The longevity isn’t the best nor is the silage I’d say 2 hrs max. I prefer this to Meow which isn’t as deep and magical. Not a fan of the bottle as it looks a bit kiddy, but fits in with Katy Perry’s image at the time. Can get this super cheap as well. I feel this is one that I may not wear often but will always have a bottle of somewhere in my room.

I just received mine today. Of Katy Perry’s fragrances I own Killer Queen, Meow, and Purr. This is probably my second favorite (I’d put Killer Queen first, then Purr, then Meow). This one smells very clean and fresh to me. Almost like laundry detergent, which sounds gross but I just mean that like very clean smell, which I like. I don’t like perfumes that are too aggressive or synthetic smelling so this purrfume (see what I did there) is right up my alley. I’d rate this an 8/10. I’ll definitely wear it a lot.

I think I bought my bottle back in either 2010 or 2011, and it’s still sitting on my dresser, because I adore the cute kitty cat bottle. I hardly ever wear it now, though. It’s a very sweet, fruity scent and… I don’t know, the best word that comes to mind is “sparkly.” It’s not that I find it an unpleasant smell, but now that I’m a thirty-something stay-at-home-mom, I don’t feel right wearing it anymore. Years ago I did enjoy it as a scent for parties and fun nights out; maybe my stepdaughter would like it in a few more years when she’s a teenager.
(Lawd that review makes me feel ancient…)

I’ve had this one for quite some time but never really worn it. So today I figured I’d give it a shot, a hot summer day – Oh boy, mistakes were made.
One spray and the whole world smelled like synthetic, sweet vanilla/jasmine. Vanilla is always very prominent on my skin, and it stays in the drydown as well. I do get a hint of the bamboo in the distance, but sadly very faint.

My sample of this opened with a whoosh of almost lemony-fresh bamboo, but very quickly died down to a fresh but nondescript floral scent with zero sillage. I would recommend this as a girl-next-door style clean and fresh fragrance, perfect for the office or other scent sensitive environments. Unfortunately, I just don’t like it nearly enough to buy a bottle, even at this very affordable price point.

Katy perry Purr smells like straight up bamboo and rose on me. The initial first note that quickly fades away is the apple then it transitions to a floral. The rose gives it a soft floral romantic scent while the bamboo adds a green crispness to the scent. There is also a mild milky undertone to it as well. No scent of play-doh or peach on me. Everyone’s body chemistry is different i guess.

i get pure coconut and not much else. it screams summer to me and is a nice enough scent. lasting power could be better. it’s quite soft and not at all cloying. it does make me feel like going to the beach.

Okay, I want to agree with the people talking about a “Play-Doh” smell in this perfume. Gotta admit it’s kind of a turn off to spritz perfume on yourself and the first thing that comes to mind is Play-Doh. Let’s face it, that’s not really known to have a beautiful smell. This actually isn’t going to be a review saying I dislike the perfume. Play-Doh smell aside, it dries down to a VERY lovely scent and I do enjoy it enough to want to get another bottle when I run out of the bottle I’m using now.
My recommendation is you don’t blind buy this. Some people might be able to ignore the Play-Doh scent when you first spray it. Others might not be able to overlook it. No telling how you’ll be until you try the perfume out and see for yourself.
And I also think the bottle is very pretty. Beautiful color and it’s a kitty cat, what’s to hate?!

I do not smell anything as to what you all are describing. I got this “Sealed” from an ebayer, but they CAN fill this bottles with water & perfectly repackage them. I feel like I got a bottle with 1/4 or 1/5 of actual perfume, then filled with water. Literally, I smell next to nothing for 5 minutes. I have contacted the seller, we will see what happens. I have Meow, and It’s 100 times more fragrant than this bottle of water! What the??????? I have manyyyyy perfumes, there’s nothing wrong with my nose this week, this is a rip off! If I am wrong, someone let me know!

I LOVE Purr. It is casual, not fancy, nor special, BUT smells fantastic, as the ratios of notes are done RIGHT in this composition. It is much BETTER than many expensive perfumes out there that have similar notes. I got a brand new 3.4 oz bottle for $14.25 with free shipping and boy…Am I GLAD that I trusted my “instinct” (and I also thought: at that price, what the heck, and even after I had read many preferences to go for Meow, over this one).
On my skin, it smells “summer vacation” and screams “sun dress” and “mini skirt”. FRESH and creamy coconut + vanilla + gardenia…but mostly coconut and vanilla. Freesia, gardenia, red apple, and some other base notes slightly showed up for a little bit later (almost NO bamboo, nor peach note that I may vaguely detect). Purr makes me wanna spend some quality time sunbathing on a breezy beach, or just “purring” by the pool with a glass of fresh squeezed home made lemonade 🙂 Purr awakens great scents under medium hot temperature, and yet, it is not a heavy, nor gourmand, nor a statement fragrance. It is just light and femininely pleasant.
Overall Purr is so lovely, and for the price, it is unbeatable, and of course, the cute shape bottle! On me, Purr shows more floral scents, and less sweet than Meow. Its longevity is between “weak” and “moderate”, unfortunately (2 – 3 hours top), maybe just a tat better than Meow. But I don’t mind reapplying something like this one at all.
I LOVE both Purr and Meow equally, NO question. And when the two “kittens” interact with each other in a layering combo on my skin…OMG…Heaven on earth…Period!
Good “kitties” and well done Katy!

This one isn’t that overly heady sweet perfume that Meow is,it also has more floral notes whereas meow is exclusively a fruity almost gourmand kind of scent. It is more wearable however nothing special or ‘wow’ about it. On the first spritz you get quite a bit of alcohol that thankfully dissipates rather quickly. All in all,I find it a relatively cheap smelling girly kind of scent without much character or sophistication.
    Edit:
tried this again in drier more autumnal weather and yep,it develops much better! It becomes this creamy white floral beauty with a hint of coconut and a touch of berries-in this weather it becomes more well blended and more sophisticated. Still not ‘wow’ but much, much more enjoyable!
Based on the different development according to weather conditions,I think this perfume will probably shine even more during wintertime.

When I see the bottle, I thought this scent would be fresh cause the bottle is cute. But I realized its not. The color of the bottle told us tht is not fresh but more intense. Yeah first I smell this, words in my brain “nutty vanilla”, nutty vanilla + musk + amber yeah I smell purr like tht. Then I’m a little surprise there r no nutty notes here. The coconut works okay here. Its not sweet like candy, marshmallow or others (its not food aroma). Its not fresh but sweet. Nice, pleasent but boring. Its perfect for cold weather. It doesn’t long last on my skin but got 6hrs+ on my clothing.

I received this as a gift today, and wasn’t expecting to like it, given that it is a fruity floral, but I am pleasantly surprised. It’s not the overpowering, offensively sweet generic mall scent I expected. After only about ten minutes it dried down to its base notes of vanilla and coconut which I wouldn’t normally tolerate, but as a summer beach fragrance, it’s not bad. I won’t buy it, but I won’t give it away either.
BTW, What the ### is “Forbidden Apple”.

I’m so not the target market for this. And had it been any other celeb (Beyonce, Britney, Paris) I would have probably never sniffed it.
I sniffed, then sprayed, then loved. The peach goes away fast on me, the vanilla is not overly sweet, and the flowers and coconut have a nice interplay. Th result is something warm and feminine that’s very nice on me.
Wish it lasted longer. I’ll get a refillable atomizer for my handbag.

i think i liked it when i first sprayed it at the store (chemist warehouse) but after 3 months of constant usage, it began smelling sour and bitter so i stopped using it (still 75% full). 2 year later i found it again, sprayed a bit and holy HECK it was RANCID!!!! must have been a REALLY bad bottle!

I received this fragrance for Christmas a couple of years ago. I sprayed it a few times. No big deal. Put it off to the side as I really only bought it for the bottle. Revisited it today and have found a new friend! I am not good at describing perfumes but I feel I smell peach and berries and maybe that is coconut and vanilla. I don’t usually like coconut in a scent aside from Bronze Goddess but this one is very nice. For me, it’s not too sweet or too young. I had on remnants of Dolce and Gabana The One from the morning and now I am getting waffs of both. They go so well together. Maybe because of the peachy vanilla. Either way I am going to enjoy layering these two cents. I would repurchase this scent.

I have 6 Katy Perry fragrances and this was the last one that I blind bought. Compared to meow this is nowhere near as sweet, and I think this is a bit more grown up. This smells nothing like meow. To me this is a fruity, fresh and floral scent, a very pretty daytime fragrance. It is very nice even though it is quite generic. For the £10.95 price tag for 100ml it is totally worth it.

  26. :

    3 out of 5

Ah, this was a bad blind buy for me. It was all about the cute cat bottle, which I love!
Too sugary sweet for my taste. I had the same problem with Enchanted Wonderstruck. I like sweet, but there is something about this that is heavy and aggressive-sweet. People seem to love this one and I just wonder what’s wrong with my nose? My husband followed me around and thought I smelled yummy though, so it has great sillage. I guess if you want to attract followers, wear this!
I did smell a nice coconutty gardenia in there but it was in tandem with by an intolerably syrupy fruit-sugar mishmash of notes that my brain couldn’t understand. It just registers as plastisugar. Officially bummed! I still love that purple cat bottle, though.

  27. :

Overall I quite like this fragrance. It’s not the sweet fruity scent that i expected. I only detect floral notes, but’s alright! It smells very clean and for me it’s perfect for work or school.

Average celebrity fruity-floral. The bottle is cute. At least it’s not offensive like Royal Revolution.

  29. :

    3 out of 5

The bottle is cute. The scent is “Meh.” The advertisement always creeped me out! It looks as if Katy is pooping out a snake from her ass.

  30. :

    3 out of 5

I’ve had this fragrance for a while, and I have to say, after trying some of her other perfumes, it’s not my favorite Katy Perry. The bottle is incredibly cute, but the fragrance inside is just okay; it’s very clean-smelling, but it doesn’t quite do it for me. If you like scents that are simple and fresh-smelling, then Purr is for you. If, like me, you prefer things that are a little sweeter, then I’d pass on this. There’s nothing wrong with Purr; it’s just not “me” anymore, if that makes any sense.

I really purchased it for the beautifu bottle. That said I didn’t get anything from it, it’s just blah. Maybe I’ll give a try another time.

  32. :

    4 out of 5

i honestly don’t remember why I bought this, I guess I got carried away liking Katy’s other scents.
i get harsh floral and sour smelling on my skin. I don’t get vanilla or coconut at all.
STRONG smell of roses and green bamboo.
Fun bottle i guess, i use it more for display, my bottle is still just about full, maybe i should give it away already.

  33. :

Wow. I had pretty much given up on Katy Perry scents. All the queen/royal ones smell awful. Mad potion smells good lasts seconds..seconds. I finally got to Meow which is very nice but Purr is SO good. Its the almost unexplainable combo of fresh, fruity and a drop of coconut or something gourmand. Its one that I keep catching wiffs of and thinking wow that smells good, then realizes it me. This is a love for me & from the notes I didnt think I would like it more than Meow but I do. So nice.

Huele dulce y frutal. Me parecio mucho a un olor de shampoo o jabon pero de forma agradable. Da la sensacion de una limpieza dulce. Lo recomiendo para verano o primavera.

    Amazing!!
I love this fragrance soo badly! It´s fruity but not boring fruity, it has some depth to it, there´s something that makes the vanilla so sexy and interesting.. I can´t put a name to it, but if I had to guess I would go for the bamboo note.
This can be worn by young ladies and mature women aswell, I find it quite versatile. Appropiate for work, great for an evening with friends, a date at the cinema, a picnic at the riverside… outdoors, indoors, evening or daytime, it smells good and appropiate all year round.
Of course I would not pick this for say, a wedding, an aniversary, or a critical job interview, but that aside it pretty much works for any situation.
Bottle: the design is absolutely cute. It´s a keeper, once I finish the juice I will not throw away this beauty.
My only remark is that the cap is not very secure in mine at least, so I have to be careful when I pick up, etc.
The box though, is in really poor taste… super tacky.
Sillage: somewhere between good and moderate
Longevity: about 8 hours, which is excelent for a celebrity fragrance.
In summary, I bought it for the bottle but loved it for the fragrance.. a wonderful surprise, with great performance for the low price. Would definetley repurchase!

I love this perfume!!!! It smells so fruity and sexy, wasn’t expecting that. The bottle is a bit big and bulky but so cute I love the cat shape, it looks like Katy Perry was inspired by alien by Thierry mugler the bottles are a bit alike. My new favorite celebrity perfume 🙂

This smells like a greenish shampoo. Clean, fresh, a little sweet. Very inoffensive and nice for hot days where other scents would feel too oppressive.

I love this perfume it smells like GRAPEFRUIT, fresh berries, fruity and yummy. The bottle is so cute. I do not smell coconut. I smell berries. The sillage is nice it is not too strong. When I put it my my wrists but it does not last long so I spritz my hair with it it lasts longer that way. It does smell a tad like sweet play doh after is wears down a tad but then it smells very nice.

  40. :

    4 out of 5

I got Meow first and love it even though it has lot of dense coconutty type vanilla sweetness for a very long period. Purr is much more intensely fruity for long time and then kind of thins out like it’s lacking a strong end note after having such a strong fruity beginning. It would be nice if the strong fruity part of Purr was added to the less fruity beginning of Meow for a more complete fruity gourmand.
Very fun, pleasant uncomplicated sort of peachy, black currants or black berries scent. Also love the bottle but the head seems much heavier and more wobbly than Meow. The kitty collar is also a heart pendant ring that can actually fit on my chubby fingers unlike the ones on the Vera Wang Princess, this is part of the fun actually. Good cheap purchase.

  41. :

    3 out of 5

I have Purr in the 100mL and initial thoughts on it were pretty good. I love the opening of the fragrance, predominantly very juicy apple and peach but also a bit of florals. The musk part for me doesn’t really come until it wears on the skin a bit. If I could describe this scent, I could best describe it as a cheap synthetic fruity smelling shampoo. I don’t mean this in a negative way as I do quite like Purr, however I did find this under-wealming coming from a celebrity like Katy Perry. My first Katy perfume was Killer Queen which I absolutely hated. I also have Meow which stands as one of my favorite perfumes in my collection. The lasting power isn’t great, just like Meow it comes out strong when first applied but ends up lasting 2-3 hours. Overall I probably would buy this again but only if it was on sale. I was lucky enough to grab this in the full size for $20 (I wouldn’t pay anything over this for a perfume like Purr). I would suggest giving it a trial run prior to buying it as it is a very easy scent to wear for anyone however some people (me) love scents that are strong and last pretty much a whole work day.
I rate this perfume a 7/10, packaging/bottle is so pretty. I love the collar and charm that comes with the bottle too. The scent? Meh, it smells pretty much like a lot of celebrity perfumes on the market right now. It’s a gorgeous smell, I definitely see myself wearing this as either an everyday wear or a going out nighttime scent but it’s very under wealming as stated before, especially for a crazy personality like Katy Perry.

After my usual jaunt @ Shoppers drug mart, i picked this up @ the 19.99 counter. Remember peeps, always keep an eye out for this deal, the inventory always changes. I was so excited to get this for the cat bottle. Now how it rates, not sure if I like it. On first spray, I sensed “play-do”, someone on here said that could be the bamboo? It’s been an hour now and i still smell the play-do on my left wrist, but on my right wrist I smell toasted cocomut marshmallow cookie with some spice. It’s light, not heady so I would think this is a safe scent for work or school. I like the peachy, soapy side to it. It’s ok, but more importantly, I love the bottle!

I prefer scents like this to the “masculine” ones that seem to be meant for the same kinds of conditions/occasions (one just may want to wait for the drydown, if one feels he may be wearing a scent that is too “feminine”). As to what this smells like, it’s in the same general ballpark of ones like Lollipop Splash Vision of Love, which I think has a bit of a stronger or more articulate sandalwood type note. Purr, though, seems a bit more complex and “rounded.” You do get more or less what the note list suggests and it’s reasonably natural smelling, especially for a “celebuscent.” And while it didn’t seem very strong to me, it certainly was strong enough if one takes the current prices into account.

I´m a huge cat lover, so I just had to have this. I received this in the mail today, along with “Meow,” as a blind buy.
I got surprised in a good way.
It´s a peachy-vanilla-a little coconutty-smell, that is summery. It´s a nice scent, for when you hang out around the house, or meets girl friends at a cafe.
And it´s a sweet bottle too.

  46. :

    5 out of 5

Just got my second bottle at a fraction of price in a Great Sale 🙂
Compared to its’ sibling, Meow, I honestly think that Purr has a better edge. Less sharp, warmer, fluffier, and more exotic. I love how the vanilla, coconut, and peach blends. It’s really cute and gives me this “beachy-holiday” feel.
Also, as a cat lover, I definitely cannot miss the bottle.
For this price tag, I could get a sweet gourmand that lasts quite long. It’s a great deal!

  47. :

This is a very sultry type fragrance. From reading reviews I thought this would be a much sweeter, more juvenile fragrance but it was hardly sweet at all to me. It was deeply perfumey and musky, with hints of florals and warm amber. It had the slightest touch of juicy ripe plums but the fruit and vanilla accords were not nearly as prominent as I thought they’d be. A very sensual and deep fragrance but not super complex. I like it on me and am glad I purchased it, but am not head over heals for it. Moderate sillage and it lingered on the skin for about 3 hours.

  48. :

    5 out of 5

This would probably make a safe gift, especially for a young girl. For me it’s an inoffensive, generic fruity floral. There aren’t any standout notes (to my nose) except maybe peach, apple and vanilla with some nondescript florals. There’s also a soft plasticky note here like that of a baby doll.
While it is sweet, it isn’t a candy kind of sweet, nor is there any tartness from the fruits.
Both the fragrance and lasting power are equivalent of a body spray, and I find the bottle a little kitschy. However, it’s just sort of a “polite”, barely-there fragrance that will be nice for daytime and running errands. Probably wouldn’t repurchase.

  49. :

I like this, it’s a bit like Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy but it smells a bit more grown up, it’s the same berry fruity smell but it has a fresher, spicier side to it, it has the something that Midnight Fantasy lacks. Think I actually prefer this now. When the fruitiness wears down a lovely vanilla peeks through, nice, glad I bought it 🙂

  50. :

I do get a strong hairspray vibe for about the first 30 minutes or so, and then it settles down into a very pleasant fresh, sweet smell. My nose can’t really pick out individual notes, and I for sure don’t get any coconut in this, but I do like it. It has become my go-to fragrance when I’m not craving any of my other scents. Sillage and longevity are pretty good on me, but it’s so cheap to buy that I wouldn’t mind having to spray more.

  51. :

Smells just like women shaving cream (skintimate to be specific) in the beggining then it starts smelling like a kitty cat weird but sweeter

So this is unexpected! Though I did not know what to expect. This smells like spicy orange for sure. That is what I first detect, but then definitely a sweet musk. I smell the freesia also which is so lovely. As it dries down I detect the jasmine, which I love! I actually love the bottle, it cheered me right up to look at! The clear purple glass is lovely.
This is definitely a warm and slightly spicy citrus fragrance, with white flowers, and sweet musk.
    A win for me!
God bless you all, perfume family~

  53. :

    5 out of 5

I like the sillage of this one a lot. You know how some perfumes smell best when you shove your sprayed skin right under your nose and some smell best sillage only? I like to spray this one on the back of my neck, and bask in the sillage as after all the sillage is what others smell on you. This one knows how to politely radiate without punching (clawing?) others in the nose..
I love the green coconut milky sweet vibe that Purr gives me. It’s very fun and kinda sexy; while most of my perfumes are classy & proper florals (my favorite) I need perfumes like this to gravitate towards on skinny jeans, old oversized tshirt, hair-in-a-bun kind of days.
Of course the bottle is the best part – one of my favorite bottles of all time (and I have a lot of perfume)! I love the robot jeweled eyed cat. Katy Perry is the queen of celebrity perfumes, I hope she releases more cats.

Absolutely try this scent in all seasons as it does appear to be so different depending on the weather. It’s a tame, domesticated ‘cat’ in winter: peaches and soft vanilla (even resembles the original Burberry in the drydown). And it’s a wild cat in late spring-summer: regardless of what the pyramid says, I hear plum with jasmine and tuberose. It is a very playful cat.

  55. :

    4 out of 5

I enjoy this scent, but not on myself. On my skin it turns into a waxy, synthetic berry candle scent. On clothes it smells great, but fades quickly. The most prominent notes are the fruits, and floral. I don’t get vanilla. Too me this is just a bit sickly sweet. I hate to attach age limits to fragrances because that’s stupid, anyone can like whatever smell they want to! But if asked, I’d say this was aimed more at a teen audience than a 25+ crowd.

  56. :

Very creamy, soft, lightly sweet. So cozy perfume. Nice and comfortable to wear. There is nothing sharp or annoying in them. This fragrance makes everybody wants a cuddle.

I LOVE this perfume!! I get soooo many compliments on this and get asked what I have ion. It’s not overpowering and it doesn’t last long. It’s ok, I just spray some more on me!! It’s one of my top favorites and I’m on my 2nd bottle of it.

This is definitely a shampoo scent but so what? It’s perfect for when you step out of the shower and still want to smell clean but more noticeable, and despite what others may say I do not find it generic. Adorable bottle!

Purr is a selfish indulgence. First of all I wanted it because the cat bottle appealed to my inner child , my not so long lost little girl. Then it smelled so sweet with peaches (I love peaches ) and vanilla and coconut and it’s like a bowl of sweet rice pudding with a little floral around the edges. It’s too sweet to wear out around other people though. It’s for nights at home in your pink robe watching your old favorite movies. On the evenings that are for only you and you alone then you can smell like sweet candy if you so desire.

This one gets way too much hate. I got it today from my husband as a late birthday gift and because of the reviews here i was ready to be disappointed, but i actually like Purr.
On me it is a green vanilla scent, with a flowery touch. Not what i was expecting from Katy Perry (or any other celebrity).
It smells very mature for a perfume that comes in a cat bottle, it develops well and it has a zen and misterious quality about it. i am positively surprised.
Main notes for me are bamboo, apple (at the opening), vanilla and a blend of flowers (but no rose). i do not get any coconut and just a very very light peach.
Some people say it smells like shampoo. well, it is a bit synthetic,i will not lie, but in no way soap-like, in my opinion.
I think it is a great choice for early spring and if you´re looking for a green fragrance that isn´t aquatic or citrusy you definitely have to try it!
Purr is a good addition to my collection.
P.s: my husband likes it too.

Some fragrances can give you such amazement as to how they seem so simple to you…and yet the reviews are all over the place saying such drastically different things. But this one…I 100% understand that that’s the case. This fragrance is so bi polar.
I first smelled it…I could totally reference the “play-dough” reviews I’ve seen on this one. Then I’ve tried it again, and I just got some generic young, tween scent that I would’ve associated Justin Bieber’s name with. Then another time I sprayed it on myself I strongly smelled the coconut. Then sometimes I think the vanilla is popping out the most. This scent is REALLY tempermental. There’s something that screams “cheap” about this one. But again, I’m confused because somehow, in some way, the scent itself isn’t bad or repulsive. Sometimes I think it smells really good. Confused with this one…I’m SO confused with this one and now I completely, 100% understand how the reviews are so drastically on different ends of the scale. I would absolutely expect some to undoubtedly love this one, and others to hate it, some to be confused about it like I am. This one very much depends on body chemistry, the temperature, even whether you’re wearing it in the house or outside makes a difference. And of course…how MUCH you spray makes a difference.
I can’t say that I love it, I can’t even say that I like it, but somehow…I can’t say that I dislike it either. What I can say is…due to it’s extreme bipolar-ness…I only ever wear this one in the house, usually at night, I never wear it out in public because I never know how it will behave.
Bottle is cute, and looks even cuter when paired with Meow. But considering this fragrance, and I even have Killer Queen and Royal Revolution…I must say…that Katy’s best scent BY FAR…goes to Meow.
If I were pressed to give this one a score…I would have to give it a 5/10 because smack dab in the middle is where my feelings are with this one.
A MUST-TEST-BEFORE-BUYING TYPE OF FRAGRANCE! DO NOT BLIND BUY!!

this smells like natural essential oils, but it’s a very young blend. my cat Tina (mom) gave this to me as a Xmas gift one year so I bought the pink one also in a large because it’s a decorative bottle. unfortunately meow spoiled and I just gave purr to my younger roommate

I had spent some time deciding on if I should pick this perfume up or not. I have Katy Perry’s Meow, which I really really like. I also have her mad poison fragrance which was a huge let down because it had practically no scent to it besides a very faint vanilla. Maybe it was a bad batch?
Anyway, after getting this the other day, I have to say that this perfume smells quite nice. This perfume definitely has a clean quality to it, but it’s warm and a bit rich almost like a buttered popcorn note (possibly toasted coconut is attributing to that?) The peach element really shines through from the start, and the white florals are a nice subtle blend and not too screechy. I would recommend this scent to people who are fun loving and like sweet florals.

I purchased this for my daughter, she’s 10. She wanted it for the bottle I’m sure. I said to her only wear it on special days. Special days now give me a headache. This fragrance is just too sweet and coconut for my liking. It reminds me of coconut pudding. If your daughter begs you for this one, see if you can tolerate it first. Hang tough parents!

Yesterday I found this and the other cat bottle on sale for $9.99 each so I snagged them up, blind buy! So this one confuses me. I can’t even describe what exactly it is I smell but it reminds me of some smell from my childhood, maybe it was a bubble bath or a scented kids toy or something….It’s weird lol it’s almost like a fake pla
