After reading about this and seeing the reviews I was pretty sure I’d like it. I tend to like perfumes with these notes, but this one just did not hit the spot at all. On the contrary it reminded me all too much of this stuff called Urine Off that I used once when my kitten had an accident on the carpet. Not something I want lingering on my wrists, so this is a no go for me.

This fragrance is similar to Masaki Matsushima Shiro. Their notes are different but they smell alike.

I am always on a constant mission to find something clean and fresh or a soapy rose like Chloe scent and I came across this one. I never had a chance to smell the “pre-coty” smell but I understand that is even better. I actually LOVED this perfume. On my skin it smells slightly sweet but more clean and fresh than any other I have ever tried. The scent only lasts about an hour or so but it is so GREAT that I am willing to bring the bottle with me and reapply through the day. Totally worth it. In fact, this one and nude rose and especially ballet rose(smells like chloe) were ALL so great that I purchased the entire line of all three from QVC. I simply cannot get enough of these fragrances. Pure Grace is my go to when I do not want to smell like a sweet rose. LOVE it.

    Initial Spray: Pure Bathroom Cleaner™
    0-2 Minutes: fresh & soapy
    2-5 Minutes: light & green
    5-30 Minutes: beautiful & musky
    30+ Minutes: aaand she’s gone
The musky stage is my favorite, it’s a lovely skin scent that would be great for those who don’t like “perfumey” perfumes. Just wish it stuck around for a little bit longer.
I need to add a P.S. here. I sprayed this like a madwoman last night and it disappeared after 30 minutes. But this morning, if I smell my wrists extremely closely, the lavender note is somehow clinging on for dear life and everything else is gone.

OK, guys! You don’t like spending $60 for 60 ml GENDARME COLOGNE for men??….Get THIS…at a third (or less) of the price. I sampled both….it’s the same scent. Truth be told….Pure Grace is a better scent than GENDARME.
It’s a secret though….don’t tell anybody. I also use my wife’s CLEAN Ultimate as a replacement too! Shhhh!

The perfect fragrance for the “I don’t like perfume, I like a clean smell” crowd. The mass appeal of this one is undeniable.

I do love this one just or the purity of it. Coty ruined amazing grace, but pure grace still seems to remain true to form. I love spraying this on my hair and body right after a nightime shower before crawling into bed. Soap and water clean and cozy! It’s worth a bottle just for that!

Pure Grace EDT Spray has replaced CLEAN Ultimate for me. The latter is a mere shadow of it’s former self.
Pure Grace is a refreshing, soft fragrance that smells of just-washed laundry. It’s especially nice on hot days and for medical/dental appointments.
No one note is apparent. I barely pick up the musk and lavender. I do notice the water Lily.
The price, if purchased in a department store at a Philosophy counter or on QVC is steep. I purchased my bottle on eBay for half price.

At first, it can be quite cloying. But after a while, it settles down into that “soap and water clean” that everyone talks about. Very nice. Refreshing on a hot summer day! Something that strangers will stop you to comment about? No. But definitely something that will make YOU feel better, when the weather is otherwise hot and sticky. I especially love spraying my sheets with it.

I love smelling this but I’m not sure I want to wear it on a regular basis. This reminds me of a very creamy and clean gardenia soap from my childhood. To be frank, it smells like sunblock but with an added very subtle tang. It has excellent longetivity and good sillage.

All I can smell is powder with a tiny hint of floral. I don’t know why anyone would waste their money paying EDP prices to smell like baby powder. I can’t smell any musk in this at all. The scent does linger, though.

  12. :

I was looking for a nice clean soap smell. All I got was a strong musk mixed with lavender. This lasted a long time on my skin and made me feel quite sick.

  13. :

So disappointing. Lavender and musk sounds like such a winner, but it smelled like lavender and suntan lotion on me.

I won a bottle of this in an auction lot and as soon as I looked it up and saw lavender in the notes I said to myself “yuck now here is one for the giveaway box” I can’t stand lavender but I just had to give it a try because well why not, I’ll try any scent once even those that I know have notes I hate. Boy was I surprised! I can’t even smell lavender what I do get is baby sunscreen and musky skin. Creamy, light musky skin scent. This isn’t a silage monster but there is something very comforting about it. Not giving it up now, that’s for sure.

This perfume is not “me”; It’s innocent, demure, sedate and quiet.
It smells like fresh, clean cotton bedding, just brought in from an outdoor washing line in the summer.
I love to spray this on my pillows and sheets before I go to sleep; I find it very comforting and relaxing.
Whilst I don’t wear it on my body, curling up in bed, smelling this fragrance is heavenly.

This scent smells CLEAN like a day of washing cotton sheets on a warm, summer evening. Pure Grace is light and fresh but it is not something I would wear everyday contrary to popular opinion. I do enjoy this but I feel like it is more floral rather than fruity as I would like.

  17. :

The only fragrance I ever found, that smells of freshly laundered sheets. Clean clean clean.
I absolutely love it. Very simple, yet eneveloping scent, I want all my clothes to smell of this. I usually go for warm, oriental, incensy, spicy or woody smells, but love this.

This is the perfect post-shower, squeaky clean, daytime skin fragrance for women. Blended so beautifully, it’s hard to distinguish and isolate the notes of lavender, musk, and jasmine (a real feat considerating the dominant nature of all 3 notes). You end up with a timeless, fresh, French-milled soap aura.

I got the Pure Grace by Philosophy gift set for a bargain and have ended up using the lotion like it is going out of style because the formula is great! It’s not runny, greasy, or so thick that its paste-y and it dries fast yet still leaves you moisturized. The body washes by Philosophy are always great but this scent is so light that if you just used the body wash you would not be able to smell it after you got out of the shower. Pairing it with the EDT helps; however you must re-apply all day to get a lasting scent, but that comes in handy because this scent is so calming that spritzing it on helps to de-stress. I carry it around in my handbag and mist it on liberally throughout the day and breathe deep! Lavender is supposedly good for many things and reducing stress is one of those. Normally I cannot stand the smell of lavender but in Pure Grace the lavender mixes so well with the soapy musk!

  20. :

    5 out of 5

Lavender is a tricky note but it’s well done in this perfume. Musk creates a nice, luxurious balance. It’s not cheap or superficial at all. Jasmin and water lily notes turn it more feminine while bergamot adds a fresh punch in the opening. It’s a very clean, all around and easy to wear casual scent.

Smells so pretty..It was driving me nuts what this scent reminded me of, then it hit me..Coppertone.

Pure Grace is made just for summer. One day I couldn’t handle this heat and rushed in mall to freeze myself in air conditioning. I was passing by Philosophy counter and it clicked like idea bulb to spray this. In winter it was very soapy, so I thought that’s what I need! Outside it worked wonders, the beautiful minimalist combination of aquatic notes, creamy jasmine and bergamot.

Fresh, fresh, fresh – and CRISP! I layer this one with most of my other fragrances ➖ with fantastic (and unique) results! I only wish Philosophy made Pure Grace laundry detergent, fabric softener and dryer sheets. Someone get on the Horn with Philosophy and have them do so!!

This reminds me a bit of lolavie but less creamy. It is fresh and clean though I think it could be creamier. It smells like clean sheets to me.

  25. :

    4 out of 5

    Definitely Coppertone smell.
Clean and sharp at the opening, than creamier, exactly like the well-known suntan lotion. Not bad, if you miss Summer days at the beach!

  26. :

    Natural, skin scent.
Herbal-ish out of bath wash scent. .
    Crisp stationary sheets.

Not so much a review, but more so what the odor of the fragrance is reminiscent of in my opinion. Mind you, I’m going off a paper sample, but I was immediately reminded of the powdery and delicate aroma of a Moonflower blossom (Ipomoea alba). It has that same dusty sweet almost aldehydic aroma.

  28. :

The initial spray sends me back to childhood when my mom would dry me off from swimming to reapply sunscreen. At first there is a definite chlorine smell behind the sunscreen on salty skin. As it wears, it becomes saltier, therefore more beachy. At one time I noticed a slight lime scent, but it wasn’t there when I looked for it again.
I find this an even more literal sunscreen scent than Bobbi Brown Beach. Pure Grace is most definitely a unisex scent.
I can see how people would get an over-fragranced dryer sheet or the pearly-white liquid public restroom soap from years ago. I think the difference in perception depends on body chemistry.

Am I the only one who gets overwhelmed with the musk in the drydown ? I love the topnotes, so clean and soft. But the musk becomes so strong, its awful.

I thought I did a review on this when I purchased a four pack of philosophy minis a few months back but I guess not so here I be! I had held out so much hope for this brand as a whole and especially so for this and amazing grace….well sadly this is not living up to what I was hoping it would. It smells like what those fresh scents from the 90s smell…like punch in the face not nice smelling fresh. I’m kicking myself for spending so much money on this set because they have all but one been disgusting. Sad sad sad

  31. :

Smells very summery to me… beachy, fresh, almost like sunscreen. All in the best way. I love it as a body lotion and whenever I use it, I feel so relaxed and uplifted. Definitely plan on getting a full bottle.
As always, fragrance is so personal and depends on what your taste is but I really like this and would highly recommend trying it! A pleasant neutral.

I use this before sleep. So calming ! I love it. For me this is the lighter version of amazing grace.

  33. :

Very clean, very soft, very feminine. This is what nice girls wear. It can get boring quick, though.

  34. :

    5 out of 5

I’m a bit underwhelmed. It just smells like musky soap. Why doesn’t philosophy make fragrances for their vanilla body washes? I want those bottled. Not this.

  35. :

    4 out of 5

Based on the notes listed here as well as the reviews, I purchased this without a tester on hand. Sadly however, I very much regret it even though I got a great deal on it. I have a pretty good nose and would definitely not have picked out the notes between what is actually in it and what I smell…on paper OR myself, no difference actually and I have played with it enough to come to my conclusion.
I dislike leaving bad reviews but this is a very headache inducing scent to me. I feel like I’m the odd one out here…is it really just me?? I do not find it fresh in the least (I adore a vast amount of fresh fragrances!), not soapy “in a good way”, no floral, not aromatic either and definitely not green (which I also love). Very oddly, the lavender translates to a “gone very bad” stale black licorice scent.
In fairness maybe? I do not like lavender in general but I have disliked certain elements in many perfumes and end up loving the combination…when it is right, but this is just so wrong. I have never said this in a review before but a dab, a bit more or a lot; this IS a very offensive scent, I actually would not be able to stay near someone wearing it.
The drydown is an even more stale black licorice with a hospital disinfectant after “taste” with a few drops of STRONG disinfectant soap to try and mask the cleaning agents just used to mop the floors. Too harsh? I’m only being 100% honest imo and do wish to say this IS offensive to people around one who wears it. (Example: After playing with it quite mildly for the last time, my fiancé arrived home, who does not have a strong sense of smell and who literally has serious smelling issues and he had an immediate reaction of what is THAT in the house and asked if I was burning incense (the kind he dislikes greatly) or “what is that pungent smell??” as quoted.)
Needless to say, this will be listed on my “had” list soon enough since I’m selling it off without hesitation. :/

A very clean detergent and pristine bathroom. Not in a bad way. Reminds me of laundry shop rather than laundry itself. I use this for tees & jeans type of outwear.

My wife got this as a gift and when I caught the scent I was instantly transported back to elementary school. Specifically the washroom. Just brings back memories of washing my hands and using that old brown scratchy paper towel. I can see how this could be a pretty safe scent for hospitals as you’d smell like you just washed up. I think there are nicer and more gentle options out there, but this does replicate a version of clean.

This perfume doesn’t smell clean to me. It reminds me of summer — grape popsicles and sunscreen, sweet and sticky. I wish I could smell the clean-ness that everyone else seems to. I tried wearing it for a couple of hours before giving up and washing it off.

  39. :

    5 out of 5

This is just about the only scent where I can stand lavender. This is so soft and soapy and wearable. Especially if you work in a field where overly perfumed scents can cause trouble like nursing or healthcare. I love the ease of this scent.

  40. :

This smell just like Ivory dish detergent. Pure, clean, soap. I love it!

Pure Grace is my favorite from the Philosophy scent collection. A dear friend bought me a gift of Amazing Grace body lotion and body wash. It’s nice but… Pure Grace is the best for me because it’s very fresh and clean smelling. White flowers… clean and delicate. Bought it once and will probably wait for a promotion on the set again.

I had major surgery and the nurse taking care of me after it was wearing this. I know because I asked her if it was Philosophy Pure Grace and she said yes it was the body wash. I had a bottle of the perfume once. It is such a comforting smell. Just thinking of it makes me feel like I am going to be okay.

  43. :

    5 out of 5

I always have a bottle of this on hand. I wear this when I can’t make up my mind what to wear. As others have said it is clean and does not have longevity but it makes me feel like a kid just out of the bathtub wrapped in a fluffy cotton bath towel.

  44. :

    4 out of 5

My other half said this smells like Fairy Liquid – which I think it really does! At first spritz anyway. And thats really no bad thing.
It is a delightful scent. Very transparent, very clean, almost clinical, but smooth, airy, no harshness at all. It smells like clean hair, fresh from the shower.
My skin seems to eat this stuff up, so I wish it lasted longer. I know there is a huge line of Pure Grace products, so perhaps layering would help.
I am one of those mad (and perhaps annoying) people who likes to smell good at the gym – I don’t mean head to toe in Shalimar, but I do always tend to spritz a small amount of something beachy or sporty on. If you’re mad like me, I would say this frag is perfect for the gym. It’s no more whiffy than clothes washed with fabric softner, or dryer sheets, or spray deodorant.
    It’s ‘clean’ in a bottle!

  45. :

Oh my gosh! I love this! It is a bit sweet, and floral but not too much. I, at first, wasn’t sure since I detected Ivory soap on the first few minutes of trying it in the store and then given a few more minutes it just sings white cotton shirt right off the line on a hot summer day. Crisp and warm from the sun. Sweetness and clean. I love it!

  46. :

Summery sunny sunscreen. 🙂 Smells like summer.

  47. :

    4 out of 5

When I first tried it during the winter, I didn’t like it. It was too harsh and sharp for me. I tried it again on a warm day and fell hard! To me, it’s burying my nose in fresh, clean, fluffy white towel after getting out of the pool on a sunny day! It’s very soothing like a spa on stressful days (there’s a bit of a saltiness with the cleanliness that makes me think of a spa treatment). I can’t seem to describe its zen quality but it’s there and I love it!

  48. :

This and Amazing Grace are my go-to work perfumes. I work in healthcare and always get compliments from the patients when I wear these. Both light, clean , dryer-sheetish, inoffensive.

  49. :

    5 out of 5

Pretty, clean light floral, its a bit soapy on me, but I like that. Its a good fragrance to carry with you, since I can’t imagine anyone finding it offensive. Longevity on my skin is very short, lasts about 30 minutes and sillage is VERY close to the skin. l like it, but it just doesn’t have enough going on for my taste.

  50. :

    5 out of 5

I got bored of it quite quickly, although I loved it at first. Smells soft and delicate, like cotton. It’s less soapy/laundry scent than Clean Warm Cotton.

  51. :

    3 out of 5

Oh man do I LOVE this scent. I’ve been on the hunt for a new signature scent after my all time favorite, Close by Gap, was discontinued, and this morning I found the remnants of my Pure Grace sample bottle. I loved this when I tried it a year ago, but stuck with the Gap one since it was way cheaper. Now I’m definitely going to make this my new daily scent.
I’m no perfume expert, so please excuse my inability to identify specific notes. All I know is that my skin plays best with light, cozy, white musk type scents and on me, Pure Grace turns into something very warm and sensual. It is definitely clean and fresh, but not at all soapy on me. To me, it’s way more complex and beautiful than just shower fresh – I can’t imagine what kind of magical water I would have to use to smell like this just from bathing.
That being said, I’m sure it has to do a lot with body chemistry. I recall that my mother tried this, and on her it smelled like baby powder and fabric softener, a bit more clinical and even unisex. On me, it is undoubtedly feminine and fresh but in a rich, sexy way. It’s the kind of scent that makes people just want to hug you and bury their face in your hair. I find it appropriate for both daytime and, in my opinion, date night, if you’re the type of girl who prefers to smell sexy in a soft, intimate sort of way.
The sillage could be better but it’s fine by me in that I myself am very sensitive to strong scents, and I work in close proximity with children (face painting, specifically) so I prefer to live in delicate scents that I can’t imagine could trigger a migraine or dizzy spell in anybody.
Staying power isn’t ideal, but I wouldn’t really expect it to be from such a light scent. I’ve been wearing it for a few hours now, though, and the scent keeps renewing itself in bursts so I don’t think I’ll feel the need to reapply for a while. Not long-lasting, but not terrible, either.

I think people mark this as a summer, daytime fragrance for a reason. I have this and Jennifer Anniston’s signature fragrance. They remind me of each other a lot. I see JA is checked as one that people are reminded of in the “this perfume reminds me of” section. I’m guessing it’s the lily and jasmine notes. Pure Grace is fresh and clean but has a beachy vibe to it. I’m reminded of A really nice sunscreen in a good way. I tried to use this in March and it just didn’t work for me. I need to reserve it for summertime when I’m longing for the sun, sand, ocean and waves. I would put this in the same category as Clean Skin…when want to feel like I smell clean and fresh and not “perfumed.” It’s not one of my favorite scents. I probably won’t repurchase. It has a very specific place for me. I almost wish there was a neutral category. I don’t dislike it. I don’t like it or love it. I’m very neutral about it. It’s nice. Just nice.

Although we’ve (thankfully) passed the heyday of this perfume, it is such a memorable-and I will go so far as to say unique-perfume that I can very easily detect it when I do smell it on others. This was the first perfume I bought with my own money back in the day (when I was a junior in high school), and I must sheepishly admit I rather overdid it with the spraying. That is something you should NOT do with this fragrance, as the scent you detect when you sniff the sprayer only lasts for a minute or so after applied to the skin, and then develops into something [relatively] deeper.
Allow me to elaborate. Is anyone familiar with the Egyptian Goddess oil from Auric Blends? Anyway, that oil, and the dry down of Pure Grace are essentially one in the same according to my nose and scent memory. Which is to say, they are both one of the most gorgeous, weirdest mixes of comforting and sexy that I have come across IF, and I stress, only IF, this agrees with your chemistry. Seriously. One of my best friends wears Pure Grace. She is a blonde, ivory complexioned, grey eyed, Rubenesque beauty, and when I smell this on her, I just want to lay my head on her shoulder and inhale. IF IT WORKS FOR YOU it is so familiar and inviting smelling. The reviewer who mentioned she is a nurse and wears it–I think that is completely appropriate! It is gentle yet unusual, and just makes people happy (when worn right!) 🙂
Finally, for those who seem fraught over the misperceived “cleanness” of this scent, you are right. This does not smell like dryer sheets, fresh laundry, a linen closet, whatever. I do understand why one might think that given the notes on the pyramid, but if you’re looking for that type of scent, I suggest Burberry Rhythm.

This was my go to perfume for the summer last year.If you are looking for a true lavender smelling perfume then buy this one! It smells just like lavenders with very clean notes lingering in it smells beautiful when sprayed. However such a pity it doesn’t last for more than an hour. I was planning on buying another bottle when it got finished…but later dropped the idea as it is not worth the money.

  57. :

Loved it on my skin immediately after spritzing some. After a few minutes… it stank. So sad. I really wanted the initial, clean, just left the shower, soapy scent. My mother disliked it at first sniff, though. Smells like Johnson and Johnson baby cologne, she said.

  58. :

    3 out of 5

This STINKS! I bought it after reading the reviews on here. I thought it would have a clean, fresh laundry like smell, what a disappointment! The smell is nauseating, it reminds me of diapers and soap. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone below 70.

  59. :

    4 out of 5

There must be something wrong with my nose, but to me this doesn’t smell clean at all! Rather metallic and salty instead. Not pleasant to my nose at all. And yes it does smell very similar to Clean Ultimate which I also find unpleasant because of the saltiness.

  60. :

I’m a nurse and love this for work- this and Amazing Grace have gotten me more compliments FROM PATIENTS, than anything else. That being said, I’m sometimes confused by the “people who like, may also like” column that I see on the website. This one is listed with Hypnotic Poison and Viva La Juicy- two perfumes I love but would never wear to work, kinda hard for blind buys…..
Edit: so I just recently bought my yearly set from QVC of this, and Coty has done another hatchet job on a well liked perfume. I’ve worn this for about ten years and have probably received the most compliments on this perfume. Now I’m debating finding another similar one to take its place. Longevity is now poor, silage dismal and I smell too much alcohol. Go look on the QVC forums to read about the new vs. old after Coty bought out Philosophy.

I first smelled this one on an airplane… it’s the new hand soap for United/Continental flights, and I COULD NOT stop smelling my hands after I washed them! I did a little digging and found out which of the Philosophy fragrances it was, and immediately bought a bottle. I adore this scent. It’s so light and clean… it’s absolutely delicious on my skin. Longevity is a bit of a challenge, but I’m OK with reapplying. It does remind me somewhat of Clean Ultimate, but that one has a lemony note that I don’t care for. Pure Grace is a definite favorite.

  62. :

I like this better than Amazing Grace. Contrary to most people, I don’t think it smells all that clean and soapy, but then my idea of a clean fragrance was my father’s Dial gold bar. This is to sharp to fit that description.

  63. :

    4 out of 5

Pure Grace is IMO a fantastic unisex fragrance. If you want to smell like you just had a shower – this is the fragrance for you. But sadly, Pure Grace has absolutely no staying power whatsoever. I will have to reapply this several times a day. The EDP is no better.

  64. :

    3 out of 5

Pure Grace is simple, unpretentious and shy. I personally like it, but am not crazy about it. Two reasons: it’s too weak and soft, and also, it doesn’t demand to be remembered.
Its opening is rather sharp, but it mellows down to a soapy scent soon after. I definitely can smell the cleanness in this. It’s like a freshly washed linen or the smell after shower, but that’s the problem: that’s all there is in Pure Grace. It’s as simplistic as the bottle that contains it. It whispers to you innocence and it promises you clarity, and Pure Grace is just all that. Very clean smell. It’s soft, it’s almost unnoticeable. It’s as if it doesn’t want to be remembered. Just there to exist close to the owner as a little pick-me-up.
Overall, I quite like it but for the price I’d rather spend it on something else. It’s way too soft (even softer than Burberry Brit Rhythm, which is already very soft on me) and if I want the cleanness, I can just take an extra shower and emerge with the same clean smell on me at a bargain price. Still, for those of you who like fragrance that doesn’t attract attention and is quite safe, this might just be for you.
    Rating: 7/10

I can’t really add anything that anyone hasn’t said yet- it’s shower fresh, unoffensive and clean smelling. It’s crisp, to me there is no warmth at all. The lasting power isn’t great. Lasts longer on clothes, but even then fades faster than many things. I do still like it though.

Lovely, crisp and clean but not powdery! I hate powder smell! I always get compliments when I wear this. Not overpowering at all. I don’t like the other “graces” in the line, but this one is awesome.

Lovely fresh clean scent. Simply fresh, like you just stepped out of an invigorating shower. Lasts a long time, nicely blended. Not offensive or overbearing.

I second the person who compared this to the original Marc Jacobs, just toned-down.

Smells like PURE gardenia on me.
But my body chemistry changes absolutely every fragrance I try, so it may be more “fresh” on others. For me, it’s a heavy (not in sillage,) perfumey gardenia scent.

Even though I like them, I’m a wee bit tired of the all the shower scents out there. Luckily (?) they’re giving way to the new wave of gourmands, but now those are getting a bit tiresome to me, too. Sigh. Why can’t all scents just get along? There ought to be all manner of fadless scents produced on a regular basis, so no one gets tired of any current fad. Anyway, this scent is addictive. I had it in lotion, brought it to work, and found myself reaching for it constantly. Invigorating and appealingly dry for a shower scent. I must to replace.

This is the “I just got out of a steamy shower and toweled off with a fluffy, fresh white towel and am *BING!* fresh!”
Packaging tells what this is, for sure. Simple, clean, fresh, open, ready. Wear this first or last thing. First thing: you’re off to the races. Last thing: you’re headed to sweet dreams.
It’s similar to Clean by D’Lish but not as “strong” a scent as that. (On me, anyway.) It attracts people to you. Everyone likes the scent of clean people! And it’s quite sexy, too. Men really like it. 🙂
I’m an active sort, so this appeals to that part of me that wants to be on the go, ready for anything.
    It’s in my permanent rotation.

This is such a wonderful scent! Pure Grace reminds me very much of my beloved Glow after it has dried down – a perfect, clean skin scent. There’s something a little sexy about skin scents like these – not bold sexy, though. Maybe sensual is a better word. Clean, bare, just washed skin. The only downfall this scent has is how fast it fades. It’s barely detectable right now and I have been wearing it for maybe 2 hours. I may still buy it because I do love it.

First I fell in love with Amazing Grace. The I bought Living Grace. Naturally the next was Pure Grace and I have to say,This one for me is a swing and a miss Philosophy… Again, just my opinion

    This is the best!
I love the smell of fresh sheets and clothes imbued with the scent of the sun and the wind they’ve dried in. This fragrance captures that perfectly. It’s an instant clean, fresh water feeling. Just lovely.
And it’s so handy – I’m pretty active in my life and this carries well with that. I think while I love my niche fragrances and scents that have character and romance, like Hypnotic Poison and Poeme and L’Artisan, I really love natural, earthy smells too… things that lend themselves to various scenarios and settings.
I find the lasting power to be fine, though because I love the smell so much, I touch up over the day, especially if I’ve been running around. I imagine if someone hugged me they’d feel secure and warm, safe and happy. It’s how I feel wearing it.
I think if you’re a big Dior or Chanel fan, for example, a fragrance like this might *seem* a bit pedestrian, because it’s not a sillage monster and it’s not overly girly… and some like fragrances that announce them, or are recognisable (in a bold way) where this one is noticeable but it’s not going to clobber any over the head.
To me, in a bottle, it captures a summer day after a swim in the river, clothes and hair dried by sun. A country stroll. Fireflies and lemonade on a back porch overlooking a field.

This smells like lavender soap to me. Clean, fresh soap. Nothing more, nothing less. Inoffensive but also unmoving. I’m positive I’ve used hotel toiletries that left me smelling like this.
There’s nothing *wrong* with it but it’s so plain that I can’t say I even like it. I prefer my scents with a little more character, even the inoffensive ones.

This was a scent that I chose for my friend. She’s a fan of very fresh crisp scents like D&G Light Blue but was looking for something a little bit more powdery for wintertime.
This perfume smells like a creamy Dove soap in a good way — the perfect balance of fresh and creamy/powdery. It’s a very pleasant smell.

If you love J lo Glow, you will love this fragrance. I really enjoy the fresh, clean femininity. Nothing heady or scary or overwhelming. I can smell this on my clothes and hair after I have applied it and you cannot overdo it, perfect for the office or going out, it stays with you in your personal space and doesn’t shout or misbehave. Not soapy and chemical just sweet, clean and youthful, but not just for the young!
