I love this fragrance! Perfect for Autumn and Winter. Especially the holidays. Mostly cinnamon, but also pumpkin cloves and spices.

I got this scent as a gift. It smells really nice, however you’d have to include it in your purse as it isn’t very long lasting. Probably best to layer this scent with body lotions and the like.

Allspice and wheat. Interesting, but I think it fades into “Red Hots” candy territory instead. I like this, and I still get that “can of pre-made pumpkin pie filling” vibe, though, just wish it lasted longer. The wheat note totally disappears. Oddly enough, my old nemesis, Ginger, remains undetected…where it SHOULD be o`.’o
I’ve never used Demeter’s reed diffusers, but I imagine this would be a good, if not cliche, choice for one.
    I swear I don’t wear uggs.
    …I might wear uggs.

Will be really great layered with a vanilla or cream scent in Fall

Nice idea, but all I got were cinnamon and cloves. It’s more like pumpkin spice than pumpkin pie. Also, it is the cinnamon broom type smell which bothers me, not a cooking cinnamon smell.

Pumpkin pie spices, especially cinnamon. Nothing more, nothing less. Nothing sugary. I enjoy it.

Perfect Pumpkin Pie scent! I am a loyal Bath and Body Works shopper, but Demeter’s Pumpkin Pie blows any BBW pumpkin scent right out of the water. It smells of pumpkin, sugar, and spices in just the right balance to mimic pumpkin pie. If you like BBW pumpkin scents but never feel like they quite capture the right fragrance (sacrilege!), then try this one from Demeter.
For an even more amped-up, realistic version of pumpkin pie, try combining this with Demeter’s Vanilla Ice Cream. Heavenly!
Also, it may sound strange, but I find that this scent combined with Demeter’s Patchouli creates a perfect fall/Halloween combo for me.

I am disappointed! All of the other Demeter scents are super realistic, but this one just smells like cinnamon. No buttery crust notes at all. Sadface.

I did love this scent once, but I have to edit my previous review about it. The more I wore it the worse it got. This smells less like pumpkin pie and more like cheap idea of pumpkin pie. Imagine the smell associated with public restrooms and someone has sprayed some cinnamon Febreeze over it, so now it just smells like rotten cinnamon chemicals.
I had to throw it away, I couldn’t take it anymore.

I don’t get anything Pumpkin or pie from this, to me this is straight up cinnamon. It smells exactly like those cinnamon scented pinecones in the red mesh bag they sell in the grocery stores every holiday season. That’s not to say I dislike this at all, it does smell quite good- if you love cinnamon and were not hoping for pumpkin.

This is a little harsh. It reminds me of an aerosol room spray instead of a perfume. The spice is abrasive and it is lacking in the sweet/yummy elements of pumpkin pie.

Cinnamon and vanilla is the most intensive and only notes i got from my skin when i apply this delicious fragrance.
Simply, warm, makes you want to eat cake. For cols raining days is great. Just without complexicity and sophistication.

Fun to wear. Smells like pumpkin pie…the nutmeg, the cinnamon, even the crust, butter and cream, all there. Not sure if I would like to wear this too much, maybe to the pumpkin patch that we take the kids to around Halloween as a novelty scent for the day. Otherwise I think this one is going to be a room fragrance.

This is delicious, love, love , love it!! Couldn’t stop smelling my arm, still smelled great 12 hrs later 🙂

At first there is a super blast of spicy bright cinnamon. It is slightly reminiscent of cinnamon sticks and cinnamon pine cones, but there’s a hint of “bakery” in there as well. After it rests for a while a soft hint of pumpkin puree seeps through, I can also detect a bit of pie crust in there which actually helps it smell more authentic. It becomes a mellower scent as it wears, and yes, I believe it is quite a good representation of sticking your nose up to a cold slice of pumpkin pie with fresh whipped cream on top. It is not in its “baking in the oven” phase. Not a warm scent. There are a few layers to it. It’s just pretty heavy on the cinnamon. So if you don’t like cinnamon – steer clear.

I tried it based on studies that the scent of pumpkin pie aroused men but, ugh! many hours later, I changed shirt and the headache still lingers. It doesn’t smell like something to apply on to the body, nor is it alluring. Very heavy on the spice and very foody. Autumnal (in my perpetual Caribbean summer). The image it conjured up immediately was “grandmother” in my brain. Moreover, pie is not a common food in my culture to wholeheartedly embrace it as a comforting scent. Much less, a scent men are familiar with, that it could elicit a reaction as strong as arousal. And in my personal experience using the scent, it doesn’t reach that point for me as a wearer, either. It doesn’t say “I’m sensual” (it has warmth, comfort, but no sexiness) but hey: Demeter is not making such claims, some scientists are. Other than that, I figure it is an accurate rendering of pumpkin pie, from the very few times I have actually eaten a slice (2 times maybe?). Much more accurate than Cinnamon Bun, which is only heavy, chemical, medicinal cinnamon. Pumpkin Pie could be reasonable as a candle scent, maybe. Chai Tea is a little bit more subtle. Still, not what I would choose as a personal fragrance.

This smells exactly like my grandma’s pumpkin pie (which was technically more squash than pumpkin, but who’s counting?). When I’m missing her, I can spritz this and it takes me right back to Thanksgiving dinner at her house. You can almost hear the women working in the kitchen and the men watching football in the living room, while my brother and I peek under all the aluminum foil tops to see which pies are pumpkin and which are cherry. Pumpkin was my favorite, of course, and that smell has so much nostalgia for me.
You definitely get a lot of spices here, which is how real pumpkin pie smells to me. I open a can of plain pumpkin on a regular basis to feed my dog, and the pumpkin alone does not have a strong smell, so I wouldn’t expect that to stand out in a “pumpkin pie” perfume. And I, personally, don’t care whether it smells like crust since I didn’t eat that part as a kid, but I believe I did detect a hint of that wheat-y aroma this morning.
It doesn’t last long – maybe 30 minutes to an hour – which works for me, because I don’t want to smell like pumpkin pie all day. Just a spritz in the morning (to extend the scent of my pumpkin-ginger hair conditioner), or a quick pick-me-up on a gloomy fall afternoon is divine. I also find it nice to layer with other scents that contain ginger or spice to enhance those notes. Today I spritzed this on my hair and Ralph Lauren Romance on my wrists, and it was a lovely combination that played up the warm ginger.
I wasn’t up for shelling out money for the full bottle, so I opted for the purse spray. It’s portable, you still have the convenience of the spray, and there’s less chance of breakage since it’s plastic. Win-win!

This smells nothing like pumpkin pie. It smells like allspice seasoning.
With the absence of any kind of crust notes and the lack of any, well, pumpkin, there can be no “pumpkin” pie.
Also, poor Demeter lasting power, yet again. Demeter’s lasting power issues make me so sad. Like “shaking-my-head-in-silence-for-two-minutes-straight” kind of sad.

This scent was really disappointing to me. Light on the pumpkin, HEAVY on the spice. I smelled like my grandmother wearing it, and not in an endearing way.

I would love to try this! You can never have to much Pumpkin Pie in any form :).
