It reminds me of Mon Paris from YSL. Very sweet, I can’t smell musk at all and it does not last long.

This is a delightful fruity Rose. The Rose never goes sour in Prima, as it does in some perfumes. I think this is what I was hoping Burberry Tender would be. It also lasts at least six hours on my skin, even with washing dishes, although it has obviously lost strength. I prefer not to wear scent on my clothes so I do not know how it reacts to textiles. Fun, easy to wear, inexpensive, and probably great in spring and summer.
UPDATE: On the drydown, there is something that goes off on me. I do not think a full bottle purchase is in my future.

Juicy plum and pear fragrance with rose, very pretty, light, feminine, elegant and so enjoyable as an everyday scent. I feel light hearted and mellow wearing Prima (that is its name on the bottle in the US).

I bought the Prima Noir, which is a favorite of mine, and decided to give this one a chance. Everyone is now stealing it off my dresser to spray. It lasts forever on your clothing, lasts so-so on your body but it is a great summer scent, IMO. I still think I prefer the Prima Noir but this one makes me want to wear pink and a floppy hat. If it’s on sale and you like Rihanna’s Nude give it a try.

Just a Correction On Notes Listed here…They’re Mostly Correct except two of The Base Notes…There’s No Vanilla Or Musk, It’s White Patchouli And Oakmoss!

Prima is quite classy. I get patchouli and plum.
I love the whole ballerina theme. It makes me enjoy this perfume even more. This smells very high-end,and more expensive than it is. And it resides in a beautiful bottle.

I smelled it on someone some time ago and I got it. This is a really nice flowery airy perfume! Very pleasable and unobtruding. Not much silage but noticeable and rather longlasting. It reminds me a lot of Narciso For her Edt but it is a little sweeter. Nice bottle, too.
Edit: it smells better and longer on cloths! After 24 hours is still in my blouse and it is simply beautiful.

Well my nose interprets this light scent as synthetic berries with a lovely sort of vanilla-type underlayer. It’s very cheerful, and I’ve decided I like it, for it’s cheerfulness.

I definitely get the Lovely by SJP vibe. Cool. Light. Airy.
    Update:
I have been wearing this perfume for 5 days now. The lotion came yesterday. This is a little lighter fare than what I usually wear but I do like this very much. It starts with a blast of plum and has a very nice, softly musky finish. There is patchouli in this but it is a quiet patchouli on me. I got the 1.7 for $10 and the lotion for $4.75 (I think) but you can get the perfume, lotion, and shower gel for $15 on Ebay. This is a great value. For an Avon perfume, I think this is pretty long lasting on me. I was on a trip when I was trying this out and I noticed that I could still smell this when I would wake up in the morning before my shower. It’s not so loud that people don’t want to ride in the car with you but loud enough that your granddaughter notices.
    2nd update:
Today I layered this with Avon Rare Amethyst. They are both plum fragrances but RA has sandalwood in the base with a bit of violet and Prima has a quiet patchouli and musk. I think the layering of these 2 is rather nice.

I wrote a very positive review on Dreams about 1,5 years ago. I loved the juicy notes in it.
Something changed, because I cannot stand this perfume any more, and the reason is cedar. The woody notes are suddenly overpowering, almost take my breath away – and not in a positive way.
I sell my used perfumes sometimes in garage sale and I had no problems of getting rid of my “Dreams”, ladies loved it!
I almost got an asthma attack the last time I used the Dreams body lotion, and all I could smell was the wood.
So, test before you buy this and give it some time. Maybe it developes differently on your skin than mine, but for me at the moment it is unbearable.

I find this to be a less intense version of Avon Gold Blush with added soft powder and rose jam. Someone said this smells like Natori but to me absolutely not, no similarity at all. Lasted about four hours so far, it has grown on me, but it’s not really special, just ok. Also I hated the top notes, something weird in there, like furniture polish :/

the powdery version of AVON LUXE GOLD BLUSH…
LUXE GOLD is more vivid sensual than this one, so I prefer GOLD over dream/prima

I remember this. Someone gifted me a bottle and I wore it non stop all summer. And I wansn’t even interested for the notes inside. Now I see why I loved it: my favorite plums and rose on a intense musk base. I’m a sucker for musk obviously. And it’s not thaaaat sweet.
Yep: in Greece it retails as Dreams not Prima

It’s disappointing. It smells like Narcisco Rodriguez like many others do and it doesn’t last very long on the skin.

Prima is really pretty. I’m actually a little obsessed with it. It starts off really fruity with a big burst of plum which mellows quickly. As the plum dies down, some pear peeks out followed by a soft rose and patchouli. Prima is very well balanced and feminine. I hope Avon keeps making it for a very long time.

@StarMagix…I’ve been a rep myself for 25yrs…I’m wondering if this is reminding you a little of NATORI by Josie Natori from the mid 1990s’?, because that is what’s coming to mind with me.

Perhaps I am one of the few that really just can’t say I love this one too much. It reminds me of several other scents but I cannot remember the names of any of them yet. When I do remember I will return and post them for you all. This smell is a step back in time for me. I can remember a fragrance from about 40 years ago that had this same smell to it. I can say it last a very long time on myself and my clothes. This is always the case when I do not actually love a fragrance, but when I do love a scent it fades in a few hours! I am not good at describing notes but I can tell if the fragrance is blended well. Prima is a well blended fragrance, thus it last forever. Being an Avon Rep. for the last almost 40 years myself, I can remember a lot of the older Avon scents. This to me is a remake of one of the older scents. Wish I could recall which one??? Since Avon is remaking some of the older scents, I wish they would bring back Topaz, Charisma, Bird of Paradise, Persian Wood, and Moonwind just to mention a few. Perhaps an Avon designer will read this post and bring back a few of the really greats.

I bought the USA version called “Prima”. On the box, it lists only plum, rose and white patchouli. An adult ballerina is used to advertise this perfume. Prima is NOT a sweet little girl ballerina scent. Prima is more like the ballet teacher with years of experience.
Prima is subtle, but not quite a skin scent. It projects consistently about 6 to 10 inches, and is EXTREMELY long lasting. Lasts until you shower it off !
On my skin the soft dry airy white patchouli is prominent, with no sharp edges, no “dirty” tone. There’s an elegant ripe purple plum undertone and a touch of rose. Prima is mature, not too sweet, definitely womanly, not girly. Perfect for office wear and daily wear. Totally non offensive, yet it’s definitely THERE. A clean, fresh, studious, no nonsense type of scent.
Prima is great for layering, to help other scents last much longer. If you have a fragrance that’s too sweet, layer it with Prima to make an otherwise “too girly” scent more adult.
Most Avon scents are fleeting, but this one really lasts forever on skin ! You can get this in body lotion and shower gel, too. Those are super long lasting on their own, too !

I’m quite happy with this purchase. I chose “like” because it is quite simple and may not appeal to many. I hope I’m wrong! It’s very nostalgic to me. I get a pretty but plain blonde wearing this when I was a child. Which almost put this into the love section, but to be honest, it’s quite shy in this sweet patchouli world it lives.
I do not find plum to be a good thing in MY perfume. I could always be happy without plum or vanilla. Still…this is a huge like for me. The pink colors they’ve chosen are right up MY alley! LOVE the color pink they chose. It would have to stink for me not to buy this! The lotion isn’t strong so you won’t be sorry you wore this AND the perfume. It will make a pleasant gift for anyone I think. It seems to be very unique to my nose. I admit it does have a pinch of Lovely in the surrounding air. I find this is softer than Lovely. A bit of powdered sugar sprinkled on top.
This is different enough that anyone that is picky might want to try this first. It is safe for most I think.
I’m happy with this! Great little blind buy for me. It lasts close to 12 hours and it does waft in the surrounding air without being noticed as perfume. If you have allergies badly, this could be unpleasant.
I love Avon, and this purchase is very nice. I hope that others enjoy also!

I ordered this perfume because when I smelt it in the catalogue it reminded me of Nina Ricci- Ricci Ricci.
It has that fresh clean scent, like a steamy bathroom or how you smell straight after a bubble bath.
I thought it smelt like cherry, but I can’t see cherry on the description so I must be getting cherry mixed up with plum and floral.

I like it more than Avon femme, its actually not that synhetic than other recent avon parfumes, probably they have worked on it a bit longer, it have good staying power, roses, woods and fruits, one of my favourite combinations, so i like it actually a lot, its simple, delicious well blended juice!

What a beautiful spring fragrance from Avon! This is very elegant, both the scent and the bottle. I prefer the name Dreams, as it is called in this part of the world.
I love the combination of rose, plum and pear – and I thought there was patchouli here, but I don’t find it in the notes. But I do smell patchouli! And I love it.
This is a very rich and fine blend of many wonderful elements. Plum has the ability to make a perfume smell juicy.
The wood notes I can also detect, and it gives some balance to the sweeter notes.
I’ve bought many Avon scents lately, and I’m very glad I bought Dreams, too.
Dreams is simply beautiful, happy and elegant.

I have smelt this (dreams -apparently the same item but different names in different countries) from the avon catalogue tester page, which seems to be a rough guide for what the perfumes smell like, although occasionally they smell a bit different in different catalogues. Many of the avon perfumes seem to be quite alcoholy in reality and many are fruity.
They are marketing this one towards mothers day at the moment (in uk). It is described as rose, plum and white patchouli. I see patchouli is not listed in the notes here but I can quite clearly smell it. I marked cedar and musk as noticeable since there was no patchouli on here.
The main player for me is rose, the type of rose I recognise from rose soaps. However, it does have that underlying ‘dirtiness’ that provides depth and it smelt like a well blended scent.
I have smelt this before, quite a long time ago, before I got in to perfumes. Probably 90s but I wouldnt know what it was.
For people who like the type of old fashioned rose, they may like this. I dont usually like patchouli but whatevwr provides that smell does work here, evwn if its not my thing.

After posting a thread about new Avon fragrance Dreams, one of the answers made me realize, that actually I’ve been searching for Prima. I am very impressed with this perfume. My mom made me order a gift set of EDP, body lotion and body spray and I am so glad I did, because I got it for a song. Being an Avon lady for five years at first I was like: “Another watery Avon scent?! No way!” But I was wrong. This perfume is a breath of fresh air. Prima (or Dreams) is a lovely fruity combination with intensive rosey scent. I’ve never imagined I would fall in love with the plum-rose combo. The vanilla is notable, without making the scent too sweet. The woodsy aroma is strong too. Considering it’s Avon, this fragrance is really beautifully blended and more longlasting than their average stuff. Love it, it’s perfect for any ocassion, without being boring.

Across Europe this perfume is called DREAMS.
This perfume is really likeable. I`ve been wearing this the whole week to build relationship with it and understand what it really means to me. I`ve noticed that I`m attracted by perfumes where plum is playing a big role. This is one of such perfumes. But even though I enjoy wearing it I don`t think this will be a passionate and fulfilling “relationship” in a long run. Just a one week stand;).
