Description

A new, fragrant beauty arrives on the market in February 2009 and joins perfume collection by Elizabeth Arden. It was named Pretty and it will be available in as many as 27 countries of the world.

Pretty seduces with its feminine concept, which rounds complete body and face care, as well as with floral juices created by perfumer Claude Dir of Givaudan. The fragrance opens with refreshing breezes of Italian mandarin and orange blossom mixed with peach juices. A heart is floral and gentle, created of petalia, starry jasmine, pink lily and peony, while base is soft and pleasant, composed of musk, Jacaranda wood and creamy amber.

Petalia is a new, floral molecule which was first used and introduced in this very perfume. It is a creation and patent by the house of Givaudan.

A flacon of Pretty is feminine, transparent and made of glass, with a heavy glass bottom. It was inspired by flower vase, since floral theme marks this edition in every view, from advertisement to ingredients. The advertising campaign was made by creative director and vice-president of the house of Elizabeth Arden, Mark Dixon, and it was envisaged as a timeless floral saga decorated with floral motives captures in a fragrant and feminine moment.

Advertising video and posters were made in a team, by husband and wife – Coliena Rentmeester and Tom Dey. TV commercial will be shown starting from January 2009, whereas advertising materials and posters will be present in fashion catalogues from March 2009.

New fragrant beauty of the collection Elizabeth ArdenPretty, will be available as 50ml (1.7oz) and 100ml (3.3oz) Eau de Parfum, 200ml (6.8oz) body lotion and 100ml (3.4oz) body powder.

A very pretty rose fragrance. Smells exactly like Cabotine Rose. I have them both on my vanity and yes, they do smell identical.
    Silage is arms length.
Longevity for me is about 4 hours.
This is a perfect Spring and Summer fragrance on a warm beautiful day. Perfect for work as well.
A very pretty feminine soft comforting rosey scent.

One of the most pleasant and easiest to wear perfumes that I have. A heavily citrus floral, it’s a good thing I like a lot of that because it’s going on seriously here. Another good thing is it seems to stick around a bit longer on my skin than most others of this type, so I get to experience more of the final stage of the perfume. When I think of color, this perfume makes me think of bright yellowish-sunkissed pink, like a sunset on a warm summer evening, with a teeny shimmer of white clouds just barely darkening. It’s a lot of fun to layer this one over deeper, darker and much more serious perfumes, it kind of puts a smile on them.

It is a pretty smell…Nice, refreshing and makes me feel pretty…I get so many compliments when wearing it…
One of my favorites right now…I love it…

This is nice and fresh and lasts all day but it is very very very very light and just gets lighter throughout the day.

Just got this fragrance for a light warm weather scent. I like it but not quite sure if I love it. It’s a citrus floral on me.I can’t smell any of the base notes. It’s a close to the body scent that you can generously spray on and not be offensive. Glad I picked this fragrance up.

Floral, but a bit pungent and sour; it’s one of those floral scents that is inoffensive, but sadly a bit too generic, too common.

I overlooked this for a long time but recently picked it up on sale. It is really nice. It has a floral shower fresh quality that makes it office friendly but still enjoyable to wear. Perfect for when you want something pretty and straightforward or want to feel feminine fresh and clean on a hot day. Lovely.

“Pretty Boring” would be the much better fitting name for this fragrance. For me, this scent is not worth bothering about. It lacks depth and originality and is as random as can be.

I got this when it first came out. I loved it then and it was a good thing because it was back when I could only afford one fragrance at a time. I felt pretty and happily used the whole bottle. Now I have a collection of scents and it had dropped off my radar. Don’t get me wrong. I am still frugal. I get minis, rollerballs, testers, samples, perfume subscriptions, ask for scents for occasions etc. I came across this again on Ebay and decided to give it a try again now that I have so many scents to compare it to. Some days I like it and it smells pretty and other days the musk in the end doesn’t seem to fit right in the grand scheme of things. Some of the reviews have been a little harsh. It’s pretty. It’s inexpensive. I’m happy to have it again.

Clean, fresh-showered type of scent. Definite strong white floral. Inoffensive and pretty much office-safe. I am always on the lookout for light, airy, fresh type scents, suitable for Summer and the high heat and high humidity (especially the high humidity), and this works very nicely for that. Yes the bottle is not the most original but, meh. Safe, inoffensive fragrance that works especially well in the heat/humidity, but of course you can wear this anytime. Great too for days you just have to dash out the door and don’t want to “think” about what fragrance to wear. Nice, light, safe and inoffensive. The bottle may be boring to some, but it is comfortable in the hands, and is easy to spray, which my bad wrists appreciate.

  11. :

Mainly peony and jasmine made the fragrance composition. Light, delicate, on a hot summer day, it will work well because it does not dominate the environment or the user. After 15 minutes it is barely noticeable on the skin. I did not notice the characteristic.
For me it is an advantage, for the summer is ok, it is a faded smell. Concentration of edp does not apply in reality, it may as well be cologne.

When I tested this in the store it smelled so, well, pretty. A light, clean floral that was right up my alley. So I purchase a bottle…and I hated it! I was so disappointed because I was hoping this would be my perfect everyday perfume, but there’s a sour woody note (iso-E super???) that I can’t get past. It’s the same note that ruins D&G Light Blue for me. Unfortunately I have a 100ml bottle collecting dust in my closet.

  14. :

This is a clean floral “office scent” (as I often call inoffensive perfumes)
I receive compliments from strangers every time I wear it, which always tickles me because it’s really pedestrian.
But I guess that’s just it. It smells like a bouquet of fresh roses and lilies and peonies. Everyone likes that smell. So while Pretty is not groundbreaking or exciting, it is pleasing and generates love from those around me.

I actually followed a lady around a supermarket and stopped her to ask what her lovely perfume was, she looked shocked and told me it was Pretty by Elizabeth Arden and it wasn’t very expensive. Well I immediately set out to buy it, sprayed it on, ugh…Smells totally different on me, didn’t like it at all. I gave it to my mum and it smells lovely on her just as it did on the supermarket woman, lovely floral, I just can’t wear it though 🙁

Simple clean perfume my grandfather used to buy me when I was younger. It’s inoffensive, very much in line with the likes of Daisy and Love Story for me, boring and not much to offer. But it suits a child, and I was a child when I wore it and there is nostalgia for me too but unfortunately nothing to revisit. 5/10

I bought this scent on a blind buy bc 1)I usually like Elizabeth Arden’s fragrances(Beauty,Red Door, Always Red etc.),2)they usually last all day and have a good sillage,3) it was only $12.99,and finally 4) bc once in awhile I love a blind buy haul.(Don’t judge me). 🙂
I have to say I HATE IT!!!! I am VERY disappointed in this fragrance. It barely smells like anything. I just get a bitterness that is spoiling my stomach slightly. It seems to have one layer to me the whole time its on my skin which is only about a half an hour!
The bottle sucks so bad that I don’t even want to sit it next to the other bottles in my collection. Bottles are very important to me and even if the juice is crap I would display it proudly. I’m a sucker for a PRETTY bottle, again no judging plz.:)
The top kills it and makes it tacky. The bottle looks cheap and plain. I like the shape but it should’ve had some shading or something PRETTY!
    UPDATE; April 14,2017
I am starting to warm up to this fragrance. It still doesn’t last long on me during the day, but I have been finding myself spraying it on after my nightly shower. When I wake it’s still there and It is in fact PRETTY. I also spray my canopy fabric with this and the room smells so PRETTY. I may have posted in a haste, I had just purchased it and from the reviews I saw I probably was expecting something else. I’m glad I kept it.

Lackluster. Disappointing. Boring. Even a bit strange at first. “Pretty” will be relegated to the back corners of my dresser. Even the bottle bores me!

Smelled like cheap plastic in the store. Not appealing.

Gentle white floral freshness. Like a sweet breeze. Great sillage. Simple and lovely.

I am pretty sure I won’t be buying this one again. Not because it is bad, but because it is nothing special. A weak floral scent, that doesn’t last long on my skin. I am a fan of most of Arden fragarances, but Pretty is not one of them.

  23. :

I sprayed this on at the chemist before doing the grocery shopping. I could smell it at first spray. It was pretty (lol) but pretty nondescript. I instantly decided I didn’t need it since it smelt like a common floral I probably already own. I didn’t notice it while shopping so weak silage. Half an hour later as I left the shops, I sprayed Taylor Swifts Wonderstruck on my other wrist and from that point on, there was no hint of Arden’s Pretty. That being said, if I ever found it for a steal, I probably buy it as a body spray/ gym fragrance.

  24. :

    3 out of 5

If I’m going to be quite honest, this scent bores me. I have a mini and have been trying to use it up by wearing it as my work perfume for the past few days and it just left me dreaming of wearing something–anything–else. It’s not a bad scent, per say. It would be nice if you are sensitive to heavy scents or if you’re looking for something easy and inoffensive for everyday use. It’s simple and easygoing for sure, great for casual wear. But I couldn’t wait for work to be over so that I could spray on something more evocative.

I love this absolutely sweet pretty perfume (you can’t help it can you?!) PRETTY is the word!!! Really lovely.

I think this is a really really lovely, pretty, perfume. Really pretty! Lovely fruit, then florals, then a lovely softening to the creamy base. It lasted quite well on me – I would like it to be a bit longer, and to stay stronger, but it’s not bad, and anyway, it’s lovely to spray on again every now and then, It is really sweet, and fresh and adorable. Perfectly suits it’s name, and the bottle and box are precious! Pretty Pretty perfume!

Awhile back, I blind bought this based on the name and bottle as a Mother’s Day gift for Mom. About 2 months later, she GAVE IT BACK TO ME! Lol. In a kindly way, knowing I didn’t have a lot of my own perfumes or money….said it just wasn’t her thing, but I might dig it. Well… I tried to believe I liked it and even wore it sometimes because it is light, citrusy and has an airy pink flower feel. I just…. There was always something too high pitched about it, like it was lacking base or sensuality. I think it just comes down to personal taste. My friend at work complimented it the last time I wore it! I think I also may be anosmic to some musks, so maybe that’s why I don’t get much base. Anyone else have that issue?

  28. :

I just finished my 50ml Pretty and I’m so glad it’s gone, not because I didn’t like the fragrance, it’s really, really pretty, but becauseit’s just so weak! It’s honestly like body spray to me. I don’t know if I have become accustomed to stronger fragrances, but I suspect EA has weakened their fragrances (except Red Door) to make more money.
Back to Pretty though, IF you keep reapplying throughout the day you get a gorgeous, perfectly balanced fresh/floral bouquet a little bit like EL Pleasures. Truly delicious… for the first five minutes anyway.

    Pretty bottle
    Pretty juice
    Pretty aroma
    Pretty brief

I love this stuff. I can spray it all over with gay abandon because it is affordable and light. I find it long lasting and pretty. It smells like orange, mandarin and flowers which is my idea of heaven. It never gives me a headache, nor does it burn my skin like some perfumes do. It gets compliments regularly. I have had at least 4 x 100ml bottles in the past 2 years. I bought and returned one bottle that was off so I don’t know if it was heat damaged or if it is not long lasting in storage.

I’m sorry but I just have to say it….this is just so PRETTY! Perfect for young ladies, it’s fresh, floral, and oh, so prim. My ‘go-to’ wedding gift for young brides. Along the same lines as Pleasures but considerably less expensive. Nothing controversial or particularly ‘different’ about this perfume…just a very pretty scent!

  32. :

    3 out of 5

Pretty smells pretty! This is a floral fragrance and even though it doesn’t have flowers I like in my perfumes it’s still very nice. I get a peach scent at the first spritz. Then I get orange blossom, peony, iris and lily. These flowers are very soft. Lily and peony together ? Very very soft, powdery cloud soft. This is a powdery scent that stays close to the skin and feels sweet and sexy. I wouldn’t use this fragrance for a date because its very soothing and wears like something to wear with my lingerie or pajamas. It’s really very soft perhaps too soft. The fragrance reminds me of those Heavenly Angels Victoria Secret scents. The dry down is woods and amber but the woods are very soft of course. A delicate girly perfume.

Elizabeth Arden perfumes are my “go too” fragrances when I want something safe that won’t overwhelm and turn people off. Loud and Obnoxious is not what I am after here.
Pretty is a long line of fragrances by EA that seem to have the same basic formula with a few tweaks here and there to make them a little different from the previous EA releases.
Saying that, I love EA fragrances and I love Pretty. It is a gorgeous full bodied bouquet of flowers just perfect for a spring day.
EA perfumes never disappoint and this is definitely one of my favourites.

  34. :

    3 out of 5

I think it will be perfect if they add some more powdery note into the formula.

  35. :

On me this has that very strong alcohol smell. So strong that it overpowers the citrus that wants to get to the surface but just can’t. Any other scent is suffocated and drowned in pure corn alcohol. Thank god the whole experience lasts maybe for 10 minutes. This is just one of those cheap drug store ‘perfumes’.

  36. :

    5 out of 5

I am on a ridiculous blind buy perfume binge these last few months lol holy crap I’ve been buying at least 1-2 a week! So this one is my latest, and the reason I chose this over the many others in the $19.99 clearance shelf at Shoppers Drug Mart is that I have seen references to not only some of the Pleasures line, but also Dior’s Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet-which I absolutely LOVE but the price tag of Dior perfumes is just insane, especially when I think of how many perfumes I could buy online or clearance for the price of ONE Dior fragrance. Any who, I seem to be enjoying VERY feminine perfumes lately and this fits in that category nicely! I’m not very good at pin pointing any certain notes so I’m unsure what it is I smell, but what I can tell you is that this smells devine! It is an EDP so I’m hoping the longevity of this may be better than most Arden oerfunes-dobt get me wrong almost all of my fav perfumes come from Elizabeth Arden, they just almost always have poor longevity but the price is so cheap that I don’t mind going spray happy! I find this reminds me a lot of Incanto Bloom. This is stunning! If you like those really girly scents than snatch this one up!

  37. :

Another too sweet musky scent that smells watery to me, dominated by peony, which is not my favorite. Not terrible but not for me at all.

  38. :

    4 out of 5

On me first it smell woody than slowly become floral. It is nice perfume but not really suitable for hot humid country. If Im sweaty,it will smell bad.I cannot say what type of floral cause I just test it from sample

  39. :

    3 out of 5

For me, the peony dominates too much. While peony in itself is not a bad note, I always feel it needs to be balanced out with something dark, sweet, or creamy. I don’t pick up any of the listed creaminess or amber at all. Others smell the gardenia, but I don’t–at least, not enough to balance it to my liking.
It’s too floral and bright for me–almost like a relentless soprano singing only high notes with no harmony underneath. I prefer some depth, some musk, some sensuousness in my perfumes.
If you like your perfumes clean and bright, then this is your girl. Oh, and I have three new mini bottles (.16 oz) of the EDP if anyone would like to trade. 🙂

  40. :

Girly, sweet, calm, clean, simple and delight.
One of the best floral fragrance to me. Maybe it’s a lil bit too safe and plain floral but I think it’s very nice for relax day.
This fragrance makes me feel like I am holding a little pink flower and being ‘Pretty’ like its name.
The lasting power is unbelievable. It’s over 8 hours on my skin. I’m very impressed. 😀

  41. :

It’s just way too sweet and generic.

  42. :

Got from my husband for Christmas a few years ago…t’was very sweet of him to sample and pick out, that’s why I wear it around him…not a scent that I would choose for myself though, more floral than I normally wear..the bees like it. It’s nice, just not me…I’ve gotten lots of the compliments, mostly from him…oh I hope he doesn’t get it for me again but God bless his heart.

  43. :

    4 out of 5

It isn’t anything out of this world, but it smells indeed pretty, I bought it for my mom who likes soft feminine scents.you can find it cheap, so in the end, a nice simplistic fragrance for under $20. Nothing wrong there!? floral, not sharp. , sweet, no longevity, but easy to gift to lovers of nice soft scents.

  44. :

    3 out of 5

This one was very very light and fresh. Maybe too much, too crispy. Pretty and I were not the right match. PRETTY ORDINARY.

  45. :

    5 out of 5

I can’t fall in love with this, or even like it and I’m not sure why…maybe because it’s so innocuous? There’s no note in this that makes me want to smell it more – perhaps that’s why?. Even after a few hours, it smalls the same, a bit like Pleasures, but I can’t see it as being a memorable perfume on anyone.
For those in Australia that like this, I saw it heavily marked down at Priceline today 100ml for $22.

  46. :

I love this scent! I have had a tiny tester for a while, but was reluctant to use it…it was uber-strong. From the large apple shaped perfume bottle that I just received, it is wonderful! It is a light, fresh floral, and the petalia truly is a rosy-peony scent. I love rose scents, and this reminds me of how Beauty used to smell on me, but not as rich. Anyhow, this is a very inoffensive scent, good for the office, or at school. It is pretty, and light enough to not choke. It’s hard to review this one as it is so well blended that I can only discern the petalia because I know it’s in there. It reminds me white star-shaped flowers and has a bit of a pepper-y feel in my nose, but the flowers are so well blended that there is no one stand out bloom. They only bad thing about this scent is that I have gone completely nose-blind to it. I can smell it on my scarf, I can smell it on my wrists, but I can’t smell it unless I have my face buried in my scarf or have my arm right under my nose, and I think I have only been wearing it for about a week. HOWEVER, everyone around me can smell it. So unfair. It has a presence, I can tell that I have a scent on, I just can’t smell it. It lasts for 8 or so hours on me, and later today I will notice when its presence finally vanishes. I just can’t freakin’ smell it and I like it so much–seems like a cruel joke my nose is playing on me. So weird. I hated it from the tester, gave me a wretched headache [plus I had a head cold], but I have noticed that the tiny spray testers have a more potent version as compared to the full size bottle. Has anyone else noticed this?

Pretty as the name implies, this is indeed a very pretty peony white floral scent.a lovely mix of sweet white flowers and I find the peony part stands out on me and makes this extra lovely, this along with arden’s other perfume beauty is my two favourites from the Elisabeth arden range.

First of all, this fragrance needs a good 15 minutes to get comfy and settle in on the skin.
Spray then sniff – makes it seem like it’s a green floral, and a fairly standard perfume.
The first time I tried it, I really didn’t like it. I was like – Meh. Nothing special here. And kept walking.
But then the transformation had begun. Then this faboulous scent of fruity-white-floral had risen from the arm and was following me around, making me sniff my arm every few seconds, trying to remember what it was that I actually sprayed on there. And when I remember, that arm dragged me back to the store.
I’m on my second flacon now, and I realise that the time between first and second bottle was way too long.
    I love this stuff!
And people here are saying that “Pretty” is supposed to be a bad name, not giving away any high expectations.. Well I find “Pretty” to be desirable. Not everything has to be like an Mtv-video. This is more like the scent in the air when Mr Darcy meets Elizabeth after she has been on a walk in the garden.

It’s very calm, feminine & safe fragrance. Just like the name “pretty”. So it is just pretty enough, but less beautiful for me, not on my skin. I like to use it when I’m in lazy mode and don’t want to use strong fragrance

  56. :

This is so pretty :). Like a light, floral hand lotion. Just gentle, clean, feminine. It strikes me as a go anywhere day fragrance. Very girl next door.

EA already has the sharp, headache inducer, Splendor. Why tack on another one?!
Update: I smell something like vanilla that saves this. Maybe the amber. I get the 5th Ave. comparison. There is a good sour aspect.

  58. :

I bought this at Debenhams India. It smelled so nice initially but with time, it’s turning plasticky on me. Anybody up for a swap here? PM me if interested.

  59. :

    5 out of 5

This perfume is really pretty at first (as it says), but it turns into something else fairly quickly –too musky for my taste. It’s also very strong, radiating outwards and overtaking all surrounding scents. It lasts all day, but it’s strength makes that a problem. I bought it some time ago based on the top notes, but I didn’t keep it. It just didn’t work for me.

  60. :

    5 out of 5

Don’t care for it, a bit disappointing. Tried it a couple of times, starts out promising, the head notes are nice, but went quickly to base notes for me, the mid florals don’t last. Goes powdery and sour, and a bit synthetic rather than fresh, with musk and some leftover white flowers. Kinda generic, and nothing stands out. The name suits. It’s pretty” but not interesting or striking. Not my fave of the Ardens.

  61. :

    4 out of 5

My mum got me this quite recently. I don’t really like it. It smells weird on my skin. I can pick up a harsh floral scent and a little pit of peaches. To me, there’s musk. A lot of musk. I think it’s too old for me (I’m 14). This perfume does not make me feel pretty at all. On paper, it smells wonderful. Light, fresh and overall pretty. Not on my skin though. It has this heavy alcoholic scent when I first spray it and it stays. It has a womanly feel to it. I think this perfume was created for women within the age range of 25-35 who would wear this on a sunny picnic day or romantic stroll in the park, or just as a light every day scent.

  62. :

This is a beautiful fragrance! To me, it’s a sweeter version of ‘Arden Beauty’.
Definitely the only Elizabeth Arden perfume worth buying.

  63. :

    5 out of 5

Pretty is a pretty, feminine floral that is not offensive and suitable for any age. It smells like a quality, expensive perfume… there’s no wow factor to it, it won’t announce your presence as soon as you walk into a room, but it’s wonderful as a spring time/warmer weather scent for lovers of musky white florals. I also found it quite calming to wear when I need to relax.

  64. :

    5 out of 5

Pretty. It really suits the name. Beautiful fresh sweet floral bouquet. I can smell peony & jasmine so intense at first spray. The two flowers that I like the most. For me it’s like the younger & cheerful version of 5th Avenue. Beautiful, feminine, elegant & happy. Good for everyday wear, good longevity too.

It’s a warm day approx 30 degrees centigrade. A perfect day to wear ‘Pretty’. ;Pretty’ is a lovely unobtrusive and sweet fragrance that today mingles well with my skin. As with all other Elizabeth Arden fragrances this packs an instant punch. Although ‘Pretty’ is not heady like some perfume brands, it still has an Elizabeth Arden hallmark.
Unfortunately here in Australia we are victims of supply and demand and rarely are we able to find that bargain. Even though admittedly prices on fragrances here have dramatically reduced over the years. This being a huge reduction compared to 20 years ago or so. Consumers here are at the mercy of what’s available. Arden’s fragrances are readily available at most chemists and beauty outlets here. Ironically department stores here charge more for Arden fragrances than at other stockists? These stores however do stock hard to find fragrances. It is also and in some instances cheaper to purchase fragrances on line. Anyway.
Getting back to ‘Pretty’. I personally really like this fragrance I like it because I can identify ever so slightly the expensive ingredients that set Arden’s fragrances apart from some other celebrity fragrances.
Sometimes I get the impression that Arden’s fragrances have evolved to be a poor mans alternative to Estee Lauder’s fragrances. Mind you both fragrance lines have excellent staying power and that’s exactly what I want from a fragrance. As with ‘Pretty’ I’m finding the fragrance to be quite linear, I feel caressed by this lovely blend of fruits and their blossoms. Recently I have stepped outside my own box by extending my range to include spicier fragrances. I used to loathe them on my skin. As I am maturing my skin is following suit. I am growing out of my clothes, fighting frown lines and goodness knows what else the universe has in store? Not to mention gravity.
I am more and more loving the pep a good quality fragrance has on my confidence and mood. ‘Pretty does what it states on the bottle. Not only is it a pretty fragrance. I actually feel pretty too. The notes are complicated, yet mingle quite nicely. I am an amateur at best when it comes to defining the notes, but I seem to be able to smell most of them except for the musk, which to me is very subtle if at all.
‘Pretty’ in my opinion is a well balanced and unobtrusive fragrance. Suitable for warmer day’s particularly summer. It is also excellent value for money. 50 mill EDP here setting one back 20 Aussie Smacka’s. Now that’s a bargain for feeling ‘Pretty’. Thank you ‘Elizabeth Arden and your wonderful noses for keeping your fragrances accessible.
I would like to add, and I know how many Fragrantica’s hate this, but I just have to add that I am reminded a little of DKNY’s Be Delicious’ Pure Blossom’ with ‘Pretty’ though ‘Pretty seems a tad more grassy and green, eventually ‘Pretty dries down to an ever so soft musk after at least 8 hours wear or so have slipped by.
    Cheers T.

I hadn’t smelt this perfume before today – and I’ve never owned it. However I want to put a good word in for since I have realised that it is the spitting image (in the olfactory sense) of a Nutremetrics perfume ‘Georgie on Ice’ I had when I was a child. (I’m not entirely sure how old that perfume was but my first clear memory of it is about 10 years ago.
The Peony and Jasmine I’ve found to control both Pretty and Georgie on Ice for me. It is most definitely a white floral primarily. Although I find it to be quite sweet despite that – sweet enough to seem appropriate on young girls as well as older women.
As a perfume this takes me back to weekends at my father’s house. I can smell the wood of his floors and faint dust layer from my minimalist bed/cupboard set up. Those aren’t in the perfume – but olfactory memory is amazing like that. This is on my to-buy list strictly as a memory.

It is really pretty. It’s sad enough that it might be “unoriginal”, but it’s done in a way that it reminds me of a vintage perfume from decades ago. I almost envision a circa 1910 ladies “rose water” poster.
I smell vanilla in it. It reminds me of a vanilla/floral candle.
This perfume could never offend a single soul, so maybe it’s a great perfume to wear for a casual, warm weather day when you just want to smell “pretty.”
It’s not going to “take over the town”, but you will smell perfectly pretty.
It’s timeless and elegant like this. I have a small bottle and though I don’t wear it everyday, I’d be really sad if I lost it. It’s pretty. No umph, like Red Door, but it’s very pretty.
    Pretty. LOL 🙂

I received this as a tester a few years back, and I really liked it. But it lacks a certain unique quality, something to make it stand out. It’s strength is that it’s a very non-offensive and unoriginal floral, and that same thing, I feel, is where it falls short. ‘Pretty’ is indeed a name that suits this scent – it’s just that.

Ick. I usually like EA fragrances but this is not ‘pretty’ at all. It’s hard, crisp, and has no warmth. If you’re looking for something pretty and soft, you’d do better looking elsewhere. L’Artisan’s fragrances are ‘pretty’ as is some of the Guerlain fragrances. This is a thumbs down all the way.

Soft powdery scent, fruity smell and lasts even after a shower.
Nothing special about this scent. Very mild for me. Similar like one of the Avon’s parfum.

It is soft, a tiny amount of fruity that is not overwhelming. safe to wear everywhere, simple, for morning, everyday, a Summer item for sure. Does not last long. Similar to a body splash from the mall’s body and or bath shops.
Since it has no character, you are left with no description
Pretty but no oomph, not beautiful, not gorgeous

Lovely peony jasmine scent with a hint of fruit. Lasts well, inoffensive. However it’s not unusual or a stand out scent, it smells rather generic, as though you’ve smelled similar things many times. Pretty is a good name for it, it’s not outstanding enough for beautiful but it is nice in an understated way.

This is delightful on me (as well as my mother). It smells expensive, warm and cold at the same time…pure floral madness. I imagine rabbits smell like this after a lusty romp in a patch of flowers. It may seem commonplace or uninventive to some but surprisingly my chemistry just loves it. It lasts forever on me and sillage is moderate on myself but larger on my mother. As I wear this I immediately pick up the peaches, lily, jasmine, orange blossoms and musk. Affordable as well.

Not exciting but a nice soft floral scent suitable for everyday wear. At the beginning I thought it was suitable only for teenage girls but after time I started liking it. The opening is still too sweet and harsh for me but then it settles down for soft white floral fragrance. Longevity is not that great but if reapplied 2x during a day it lasts until the following morning.

This is indeed pretty like it’s name!
Right from the initial spray I can detect peony topped with juicy, fresh mandarin & peach. I wished the mandarin would stay around a bit longer than just the initial opening, because I love this fresh/sweet note a lot! Unfortunately it leaves the stage rather fast, but a lovely floral bouquet remains in which peony & lily are most prominent to my nose. Not a bad thing at all, since these are 2 of my favorite floral notes. So, even when the mandarin has left the stage I am still very pleased!
Musk & amber are there in the dry-down just to add a light creaminess to the blend. I do not ‘smell’ the amber.
Too bad it doesn’t hold, but for the price it’s ok to re-apply now and then.
    ♥♥♥
PS: to me it’s in the same style as CK Eternity Moment

A friend of mine has a bottle of pretty (she’s into florals, not me, i’m into strong gourmands) and she applied a splashh. I applied at 8AM, it was 8PM and still had about an inch of sillage.Just applied:A bunch of mandarin,
