Just today i found in my sister’s closet some forgotten perfumes from the 80s!! Thrilled, to say the least – she, on the other hand, doesn’t really care much, so i took them to retest after such a long time – half a lifetime, actually!
Voila, on the comfort of the sofa, laptop on lap, beautiful 10-angle tall bottle with golden sphere cap, nose stuck to my wrist: lots of coriander ( not listed), lemon/ bergamont, moss, vetiver, a wonderful crisp opening similar to O de Lancome and Eau de Givenchy. After some hours, it turns soapy, musky, clean. Short journey to the past, perhaps it would have lasted longer if it were a spray and not a bottle.
Nostalgia is what lingers…
