Preda by The Rising Phoenix Perfumery is a Oriental Vanilla fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Preda was launched in 2013. The nose behind this fragrance is JK DeLapp. Top notes are bergamot, petitgrain and yellow mandarin; middle notes are rose de mai, ylang-ylang, jasmine sambac, jasmine, mimose, chocolate and coffee; base notes are vanilla, labdanum, benzoin, sandalwood and patchouli. The fragrance is available in 4 ml glass bottles at parfum extrait concentration of 37%.

Thanks to Cafleurebon and JKDelapp I own this cute little bottle of “Preda”. Let me say first, after reading the concerns about the price tag for a small amount of perfume, that this is really intense and quality stuff. A tiny amount is more than enough to be perfumed all day long. I also appreciate the work of art in this and I know that good natural raw materials are expensive.
It wears really nice and I give it the attributes of soft and grounding. Yes, it’s a patchouli based perfume, but not in the ‘Hippie-way’. Together with a delicious chocolate note it has a gentle earthy sweetness, that stands in a harmonious contrast to the citrusy top notes. For me, this earthy grounding qualitys makes it a perfume-therapy scent. Very good!
