Description

Prada’s new fragrant pair, Prada La Femme and Prada L’Homme, premiered on the market mid-2016. A year later, their enriched and intensified compositions in Eau de Parfum Intense concentration are announced.

Prada L’Homme Intense promises “a multi-layered experience” and enhances the scent of iris and amber with notes of leather and patchouli, while tonka bean gives it an oriental signature. The goal of the scent and its opaque bottle is to evoke “the elusive nature of the multi-faceted Prada man.”

It is available as a 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum. Prada L’Homme Intense was launched in 2017. The nose behind this fragrance is Daniela (Roche) Andrier.

A risky blind buy that turned into a bravo purchase success.
This is way more refined and polished Mauboussin Pour Lui in Black. MPLB is a nice, complimenting and sensual fragrance at a very budget price.
But Prada L’Homme Intense is the “leveled-up” more sophisticated, intimate and highly complimenting MPLB. Not a beast performer on projection and longevity but the quality and blend is super crowd pleaser.
Clean, expensive smelling and aromatic for a short period but helps boosts my confidence and satisfaction guaranteed.
You know the smell of clothes when they were freshly washed and boxed to send overseas. That heavenly, pure and irresistible smell once the box has travelled and the recipient opened it. With added sensual sweetness, exotic leather and spiritual woods, that for me is a masterfully made aroma.
Best for formal and dates, fall and winter. Presentation and spray is excellent.
    My score: 9.5/10

Firstly, i must say that i am mind blown!!!! like i write in all of my reviews, i work in fragrances, particularly the sales aspect. I try out countless fragrances on a daily basis. This fragrances is just amazing. I love the smell. Its soo classy, its soo big occasion, it smells like you the wealthiest person in the world!! Its just an amazing decent. The ingredients in the fragrance are of the highest quality. In my opinion its a must to your collection, girls love it. People will want to get closer to you to pick on the dynamics of the sent. Friends, i must admit that being a parfum i expected 6-7 hours of banging silage, with this got around 4-5 thereafter a gorgeous close to skin dry down of a luxurious iris superimposed with tonka. One of my personal favorites of all time. A magnificent 9.5-10!!!

I tested this out at David Jones and I got a Dior Homme vibe to it. I already love Dior Homme Intense but the composition of this one was different. Got a 150mL’s bottle at a 30% discounted price at David Jones because of the mid year sale. Due to the cold weather here in Adelaide, I can’t wait to test this out, but from the initial spray I did a few days ago, I know I will be loving this fragrance. I agree some of the comments here, best to test this one out at a department store before committing to a full bottle.

Its ok. If you want something of this caliber, try Armani Eau de Nuit, its far superior and sophisticated than the whole L homme line.

I really enjoy this juice. The original is nice, but I found it to be similar to Dior Homme Eau for Men, which I already have. I was drawn to this one due to the more complex structure of notes than the original. This is very dry and spicy, but it is a great scent. I love the iris note, and it is a great scent for fall/winter/colder weather. Very well done and classy.

As a girl, I must say that this one is very sophisticated. I smelled it and was just blown away. Took it to my boyfriend, and he said, wow. And he’s picky just as I am. Very, very nice masculine, yet classy perfume. And you gotta look like you can wear it, guys. I mean, you should live up to the expectations. 😉

To the Luna Rossa fan boy down there… I never said the line was disappearing, I said phasing out. Which is will. L’homme will be getting the flankers now, while Luna Rossa will take a back seat, and most of those flankers will vanish from the fragrance counters. I’m sure the original will stay in production for years, of course. Let me know the next time you find Prada Amber Pour Homme for sale inside a Macy’s or Nordstrom. Same will happen to Luna Rossa.

  8. :

    The original is better.
This one is less fresh with an amped up sweetness generated by tonka bean. Tonka bean can become very annoying and sharp.
This is good for what it is, however I like the freshness of the original.
Good stuff, not bottle worthy for myself, but I bet lots of people will get one!

Believe me , this perfume is the best iris based fragrance, it is same as prada l homme with some mature notes such as leather and patchouli, it could be weared everytime but i prefer it at fall winter office only

Luna Rossa Sport is one of the best colognes I’ve ever had. Next to that, the original Luna Rossa and Luna Rossa Black get more compliments than the majority of my colognes and it’s quality is very apparent. So yea, I don’t think the Luna Rossa line is going anywhere anytime soon.

This is one of the rare times where I truly believe a flanker outshines the original. As much as I love the smell of the original Prada L’homme, the performance on that one is pretty much non existent after about an hour. Nobody ever noticed me or complimented me while wearing it. The first day of wearing the intense version, several women noticed the smell and complimented me, wondering what I was wearing. I kinda feel like intense should have been the original version of l’homme and what we know as the original should Have been the summer flanker. The l’eau version should not exist and will undoubtably get discontinued sooner or later. I can see l’homme being Prada’s new flanker tradition over the next few years. I expect Luna rossa to phase out and this one to keep getting new versions… it it would Be pretty dang hard to outdo this one.

Believe it or not! Now all of home smells This magic juice because my girlfriend took a test paper by one puff Prada L’homme intense on it for me! Awesome awesome awesome!!!
    Update
After testing by paper I get 150 ml . Oh I’m going to freak out! Man!!!! Such a awesome freaking scent! Million bucks in bottle! Intense, dirty, ambery, leathery iris!!! Projection, longevity and silage awesome! 20/10 ! Dear Daniela Andrier!!! Please don’t reformulate this!
If you fan of well balanced dark fragrances it’s for you not too dark not too bright like original. Wearable in all season but I would prefer for colder seasons. 80%night. For me it’s much more beautiful than original.

Quit wasting your money on anything OTHER than prada.
This one is fkin great too! I think I prefer the EDT just slightly but this is damn good in its own respect. If I didn’t have the original I’d have this as well.

I own both original and intense. For me i just love both of them. Even it intense, it still have original DNA. But this one more darker and suit in night or coolder time. Easily pass 8 hours on me and project so well. One of the best iris in my collection.

  15. :

    4 out of 5

Tried it at a store, can’t stand it. It has the DNA of the normal L’homme (which is my favorite perfume I own), with an extreme addition of black licorice.
Most people seem to love it, but I would not go in for a blind buy.
Go try it at a store or buy a decant.

I love iris in a men’s fragrance and I absolutely LOVE this perfume.
Some call it generic, etc., but there’s no doubt that this is a high-quality, elegant and sophisticated fragrance. It comes off more masculine than some of its counterparts, most likely due to the base containing leather. All of the notes/ingredients come off as being really high quality and smooth. There is zero roughness to this composition. This exudes class when you wear it dressed up.
The compliment factor is very high, and surprisingly, other men have been asking me what I’m wearing a lot more than when I’m wearing VUI or DHI.
Overall, this is a very solid fragrance. I could see a woman wearing this, but I prefer to smell it on a man. It might have not been the first designer men’s fragrance to try the iris/tonka floral/powdery vibe, but it definitely feels genuine. I dont think Andrier was trying to just produce a mass-appealing iris just to make money off of the DHI lovers. She created something entirely unique and wholly Prada.
This is my favorite out of the L’Homme line and holds a candle to some of the other designer iris kings. I have never tried DHP, so I can’t compare this to that. Someone send me a sample of DHP & I’ll be forever in your debt!!
    I’d rate this a 9.25/10

This is incredible! prob my fav. Men’s Prada fragrance thus far..this just has the extra sumtin sumtin that the original L’homme lacks..& even though the notes make this seem more suitable for fall/winter I’d easily wear this on a cool summer’s night on the town. Super sexy, get that make-up note at first that quickly turns into a super luxe iris tonka combo. & will note it has a nice masculinity to it but subtle wafts here & there give me an almost unisex quality..Longevity is pretty great with equal sillage.. Wish I had got 2 samples now..lol but this is deff. going in my wants!

I wore this today and it lasted 6-8 hours on my skin. I also have the original L Homme witch is also good but I prefer the intense version as it’s longer lasting, has a unique scent and I get lots of compliments. I can’t understand why the intense is not more talked about compared to other men’s fragrances such as Aventus, sauvage etc.it I’d just as good, if not better in some ways.

  19. :

    5 out of 5

Slightly better than the original. Maybe a tiny bit more masculine? They added some heavier notes made it sweeter and it sounds appealing but this just doesn’t sit well for me. Here we are with another average fragrance in an average series. I’ve got other darker iris scents that slaughter this. No point in me owning All of them no matter how good they are or not in this case! Only positive, it’s not mainstream.

I came home from the frag store like 3 hours ago. I took a tester and sprayed 2 times on my wrist and it still projects like an animal. I mean this scent is so powerful its like a bulldozer tearing down whole buildings and reducing it to rubble. Even tho its very strong it isn’t punching you in the face like Dior Homme Intense. I’ll definitely keep an eye on this one. Seems like an awesome fragrance for all seasons except in the high heat. If i outta rate this just from the 2 sprays, i would give this a 9/10 for now. This is, one of the best frag i’ve ever smelled and could maybe even share my number 1 spot with Fahrenheit
UPDATE: I’m more then 36 hours and 1 shower later and this monster is still on my wrist. Unbelievable strength. Just had to mention this.
UPDATE 2: Alright. This is getting to freaky for me. 3 days later and im just scouting the web for best deals i can find for frags and i suddenly remember the Prada L’Homme Intense that i sprayed on my wrist 3 days ago, and it still lingers softly on my wrist!. 3 whole freaking days and 2 showers. No words. I’m completely blown away by the longevity.
UPDATE 3: Guess what lady’s and gents. I got myself a 50ML bottle and it is a gorgeous beast. True, the non intense version smells abit “nicer” but the performance on the intense version is just out of this world.

Prada L’Homme Intense is beautiful perfume.
I have Prada L’Homme Intense and DHI, Prada Intense has nothing to do with Dior Homme Intense. These are two different perfumes.
Always when I wear this perfume I get a lot of compliments, women adore it.Girls say this is a very sexy perfume.
The performance is excellent, longevity is over 12 hours, maybe even 15 hours, the projection is enormous.
    8.5/10

  22. :

first initial blast, goddamnit! this is Dior Homme Intense in disguise! smooth velvety iris with some “ashes” smelling in background, and the opening lasted pretty long on my skin, about 1hr.
if i sprayed on clothes, its more fresh like the original, but if sprayed on skin, this smelled like DHI.
the middle phase wasnt my favourite, its like trying to become everything, sweet, sparkling fresh like the original, but only somewhere in between.
this frag caused me anosmic, i couldnt smelled it after 4hrs++ but i think it has great longetivity, moderate projection but poor sillage.
its not bad fragrance, but the original totally ‘wow’ed me on the first sniff, i think this will grown on me later.
    Smell: 8
Longetivity: ? (shitty nose i couldnt smelled it)
projection: 7.5 (2hrs nice scent bubble)
i think this is suitable for dating only

I had all but lost interest in buying new colognes. I loved Eau Dior, Dior Homme, Creed Aventus, Creed VIW and Dior’s various Fahrenheit. These were easy enough to buy when needed. Then, I saw a tester of this Prada L’homme Intense. I sprayed some on and thought, “This is a direct rip-off of Eau Dior!” I’m one of the people who loves the fresh Iris scent. I didn’t wash the Prada off since Eau Dior is a regular in my rotation. After a few hours I noticed some powdery, a little leather, then what I thought was vanilla but I’m guessing it’s the tonka. I went back to the store the next day and bought a 3.4 of this. I am willing to even admit that I like it better than Eau Dior and Dior Homme despite those being two of my favorites over the last several years. I know that a lot of people say this is just a stronger version of L’homme by Prada but to me it only has the same opening with the crisp Iris. Could probably even say it’s similar to the difference between Dior Homme and Dior Homme Intense. Most everyone I work with recognizes the opening notes and thinks I have on Eau Dior but when the drydown kicks in the compliments start flying.
As for comparisons to Aventus, I don’t think it’s that crazy myself. I have been wearing Aventus since 2011. There’s a sweetness to both, nice flowers and fruity brightness. I wouldn’t ever say they’re similar but I could see how they could be compared on depth. I personally am very impressed with Prada. I also like their Luna Rossa line too. Last, this is not a joke or exaggeration, I easily get 12 hours with this Prada L’homme Intense. This is seen when I put it on at 6 AM, get home from work at 6 PM and can still smell it.

I happened to love the original Prada l’homme but ended up swapping it out due to just overuse. However, it’s soapiness quality rivals ADP Colonia Essenza in my book for a scent that fits a casual yet refined look.
The initial opening reminds me of Dior Homme Parfum with a slight tinge of the leather. Nothing off putting just very clean and dries down to the Prada l’homme you’re already familiar with.
My initial fear was it being too powdery or leaning on the powdery side but I get none of that. Instead, it maintains the freshness through that lovely tonka bean.

I had purchased the original prada lhomme at first and thought it was a great scent but I found the notes in it were too sharp and in your face. I went and swapped it for the intense version and am very happy I did.
The intense version is so great. It still has that amazing iris note in the original but it blends in better with the other notes to create a really well rounded classy and versatile fragrance.

  26. :

    4 out of 5

It is very much similar to the classy original Prada L’homme which is one of my top 5 favorite fragrances.
The difference is that the intense is heavy on tonka and amber which make it vey long lasting but surprisingly with poor projection. It stays on skin for at least 8 hrs and on clothes for days but with very close and small scent bubble. The original radiates nicely at least in the first 1-2 hrs in comparison.
The opening is very close to the original although the intense is dominanted with pure and high quality iris.
Overall, a fantastic release and I like them both.

Very nice office friendly scent from Prada ! A lukewarm like but not even close to a love. I don’t quite understand the hype for this but I do understand why people like this.
Prada l homme is a soapy, sparkling, clean laundry scent that is just simply that and nothing else as it’s very pleasant but not very interesting or unique. This scent reminds me of the smell of the laundromat and also reminds me of 2 other scents in my collection. Those scents being Dior Homme Eau and to be very honest it has strong resemblances to Luvky You by Liz Claiborne. A lot the cologne snobs might beg to differ but any realist will know what I mean.lol
Performance on this is good in the longevity department as it lasts 6-8 hours but has very moderate to soft projection. However, the Sillage is actually pretty decent which makes this a perfect close quarters or work scent as it’s inoffensive.
Overall rating— 7 out of 10 ! Decent scent from Prada but I wouldn’t pay retail for this like I would for Luna Rossa Sport Which I happen to LOVE !
My opinion is exactly the same on this as the original but I do prefer the intense version. The scent to my nose is 90% the same but the intense is slightly more rich and has slightly better projection and Sillage

  28. :

    3 out of 5

Very heavy note in the opening, after an hour it becomes smooth and refine, creamy buttery yet powdery touch of iris and follow by leather and tonka, make it mature and mysterious refine of sweetness, I don’t sense dirty or earthy vibe here, also I can’t say it is woody vibe because iris, tonka bean and vanilla are conquering the juice from the top to the bottom, longevity is moderate, overall, I really love the scent, I would say, it is a second cousine of Dior Homme Parfume or Valentino Uomo Intense

  29. :

    3 out of 5

It’s rare to find a cold weather fragrance which includes heavy notes and at the same time is not too formal/protagonist/polarizing/sexual. Enter Prada l’homme intense. This for me is perfect for a casual setting in a cold weather, where you want to smell nice, maybe a little bit classy without being formal, inoffensive. Where you would use AHSEE in the spring, Versace pour homme in the summer, you would use Prada l’homme intense in the winter – think friends reunion in someone’s house, visiting your in-laws to watch Coco again, going to your parents’ house for lunch, etc – this works.
In terms of the actual scent, I enjoy it a lot! It is predominantly tonka and a little bit of leather with that iris amber soapy vibe.
    8.5/10 for me

  30. :

    3 out of 5

I already own an iris/leather dominant scent. Dior Homme Parfum. It’s absolutely one of my favorite fragrances, but sometimes it’s just too heavy for casual wear or for the mood I’m in. Enter Prada L’Homme Intense. It has some similarities to DHP note wise, but I found them different enough to justify buying a 100 ml bottle of L’Homme Intense.
I feel this is a good alternative for me to DHP when I don’t want to make too much of a statement or be too bold. L’Homme Intense is pretty straight forward and while it lasts a good amount of time, the projection is moderate for me. It’s an inoffensive scent and pretty versatile I’ve found. I’ve worn this with a nice pair of jeans and button down shirt, and I’ve worn this in a formal setting. I’ve worn it at work, and on a night out with my girl friend.
I doubt I’ll be reaching for it that often when it’s warmer out, but I’m sure there will be those cool summer nights where I’ll crave wearing this.
All in all it’s been a pleasure owning this. It’s the first Prada I’ve liked enough to own, and it just so happens that in 2017 they released two fragrances I found highly likable. Between L’Homme Intense and Luna Rossa Carbon I’d say Prada had a really great year.

  31. :

This took some time to grow on me. The original was a love at first sniff for me so I was excited to try this and I picked up a sample. At first I was unimpressed. It seemed like this fragrance didn’t know what it was trying to do, is it sweet? Is it clean? What the hell is it?
However, I kept finding myself going back to that sample. I would crave it. I could wear it everyday for a week straight and not get sick of it. After extensive testing between this and the original, I decided that Intense is just more interesting to my nose and I bought some.
This is a darker, romantic iris scent. It totally retains that clean quality from the original, but just has a touch of mysterious. It is a bit more dense, and the lasting power is fantastic on my skin. Projects mildly for a solid 3-4 hours, then stays on the skin well over 12 hours.
This is perfect for dates, great for nights out, and I also wear this in the office. I would wear this anytime except for the high heat of summer.
    9/10

Picked up from free shop a couple weeks ago being the winner between Valentino Uomo Intense, PAPH, Loewe Solo Platinum and the edt version of the fragrance we’re actually reviewing.
I’d been testing several fragrances in this recent trip and nothing really ‘wowed’ me (with the exception of TF Noir Anthracite), then came across this release and totally filled my expectations since I had never smelled anything quite like this: a complex opening with iris working differently from the known formula of DHI/VUI, but also something citric (I guess it’s the neroli from the original), a clean/metallic edge (violet + geranium) and the tonka + leather combo adding a thick and almost misteriuos theme to the composition.
After an hour or so it evolves onto a simpler scent, the iris note goes back and the ‘soapy’ accord becomes the main player along with some sweetness of the tonka and leather base.
Performance is absolutely not the best but since I’m in love with the way it smells I highly regard towards this beautiful composition.
    8/10

  33. :

Based on the notes, I thought this would be unisex but it’s more of a men’s frag with some floral; I wear many men’s scents and unisex, dark heavy frags; to me, this would smell good on a man but I am not a fan on me; tonka, patch, sandalwood, amber and hint of iris

    Prada has done it again.
Just as classy as its predecessor “Prada – L’Homme”. A bit more depth, but I wouldn’t go this far saying it outshines its predecessor.
Just a tiny bit more on its projection and it would have been 5/5
Both are just truly gorgeous scents.

I’m wearing it as I type this. I’m in Canada and it’s winter.
I’m forever reading about how one flanker outshines the other, but mosty the talk is unfounded. Everyone is always talking about how perfect Prada L’homme is and how L’homme Intense is just a pretender, but I live in Canada with four real seasons. Winter here is real winter, not San Francisco or Cologne or Paris winter.
L’ homme original doesn’t stand a chance, whereas L’omme Intense shines through with rosy cheeks.
L’homme Original is wonderful, and so is L’homme intense. Let’s just keep things in perspective.

  38. :

    4 out of 5

The Prada L’homme dna just doesn’t mix well with the heavier more “intense” notes. The original fragrance is miles better and it is clear that that one was produced with a definitive vision. This one is just cashing in on the “intense” name. Some stupid people will likely choose this one over the original just because this one has “intense” in the name. This fragrance is trying to be too many things at once. If there was ever a fragrance that is the perfect example of “jack of all trades, master of none,” this would be it.

Purchased this for my son as a Christmas gift! The entire family fell in love with it! Soooo good, sexy and yet very classy! He went to the club and admitted that the girls were dancing close and commenting on how good he smells! Hands down a winner!

I have a very stubborn nose and this is a very pleasant fragrance, I really enjoy wearing it and get compliments!! it reminds me of dior home a little with the iris and amber! for anyone to say this scent is a joke, doesn’t have very good taste!!! probably my favourite from the house 8/10 oh it lasts forever!!

Got this a couple months age and now i feel ready to review it. This one starts kind of very off putting, 20minutes later its a whole other fragrance. Something new every hour, every hour this changes. Floral notes comes after 1,5 hour. Lasts 8-10 hours. decent projecton 2-3 hours. For me this is the best iris based fragrance, elegant dark, a weird but good kind of sweet, long lasting. As a 17 year old guy this one to me is one of my favorites.
May i add this is the most natural smelling fragrance ive ever smelled, topp qaulity

Once one bashes the others soon follow
This smells absolutely nothing like dior homme or dior homme intense.Nowhere near sure you could say they share a few notes but that’s really where the comparison ends.It makes me question whether you hardcore noses have got your nostrils on this at all or are just following youtubers.
Prada’s use of iris in this fragrance is very clean and soapy like the original, not the beautiful lipstick vibe from dior.
Both are great but smell very different.

  43. :

    4 out of 5

Easy fragrance to wear, day or night, strong at first, floral, powdery, fresh smell afterwards.
Nothing special, it should last a bit longer…
If you have Valentino Uomo Intense or Dior Homme Intense / Perfume don’t bother with this.

  44. :

    5 out of 5

This is a bit too redundant to Prada L’Homme. Especially in the opening. It’s a bit darker and richer but smells almost exactly the same. I wish Prada would have done more to differentiate this from the original. For example, Amber Pour Homme and Amber Pour Homme Intense are noticeably different from each other. Much more so than L’Homme and L’Homme Intense. You really don’t need this if you have the original. Regardless, it’s still nice.

It’s a cool, rainy afternoon here in Vancouver, Canada and the sky is dark and cloudy and wet leaves are all over the ground. I’m wearing Prada L’Homme Intense and really enjoying this dark, sexy scent in a climate that I feel this scent was meant for.
PLI has all the notes I love in a scent beautifully blended together. I love scents with Iris, Tonka Bean, Leather, and Sandalwood. The Patchouli (which I like in fragrances if done right) is quite prominent in this scent as well.
I own many iris-based scents – DH, DHI,DHE, DHP, Valentino Uomo, Valentino Uomo Intense, as well as Prada L’Homme…but this scent is not ‘average’ or typical…it has a dark seductive vibe to it in a mysterious way. I wouldn’t describe this scent as an ‘everyday’ scent – Prada L’Homme or Dior Homme Eau could be worn more regularly (and maybe even more mass appealing), but it is just an inviting, mysterious and wonderful fragrance.
I would imagine a gentleman wearing this scent in the Fall/Winter…well-dressed having a glass of wine with an attractive woman on a couch in front of a fireplace. This stuff is special.

It opened nice, the iris was drown in tonka and quite leather, though i was not taken by it, reminded me something i smelled before.
The dry down on my skin was kinda calm less sweet more elegant version of Joop!.. I kinda was disappointed.
The projection is good, long lasting frag.

I did not know this one had come out.I only tried the original last year and was not moved too much to grab one.My encounter with this was by pure accident if it can be described as such.
A colleague found a used tester which had been returned where I am currently working to be destroyed and brought it, uncapped, to the office to be properly inventoried before ‘destruction’.Even though he did not spray it when he came into the office with it, I swear the scent from just the nozzle filled the room for as long as the bottle was in the office. My mind was made up from then on to get a bottle; it was that intoxicating.I knew I had to get a bottle.
Trying it in Debenhams confirms pretty much most of the comments already posted here. The prominent notes I pick up are iris, tonka, leather and amber. You might initially dismiss it as a Dior homme wannabe but give it some time and you will get what I will describe as a blend of Dior homme intense and Prada Amber pour homme.
Long lasting scent and refinement in a bottle. Worthy of a full bottle purchase.

    Quick review
Starts off with heavy Iris and leather. Gone is that bright opening off the original and here comes a dark powdery scent. Smells like what you would envision a charcoal body wash to smell like.
It’s really weird at first but it mellows into a strong yet average projecting fragrance. More a cold weather scent and can be worn in any setting. This will be an easy reach this winter. This lasts around 8 hours on my skin which is really good.
    This is an average fragrance.
Now for my rant. This fragrance is so average its scary. Prada L’homme is far better than this fragrance. Its far more versatile and more mass appealing. If you want to get a seductive iris fragrance get one by Dior and Valentino. You want a dark but yet fresh fragrance Aqua Di Gio Profumo or Blue de Chanel EDP. This is flat out boring.
Presentation 7/10 Original is way better
Scent 6/10 Way better Iris fragrances on market
Versatility 8/10 Cold weather only but any situation
Performance 6/10 Average projection and silage
Longevity 8/10 Lasts a decent amount of time
    Value 4/10 Collectors only
P.S. Valentino Uomo Intense will get you way more compliments, head turns, performs better, and is more enjoyable to wear. I lost my sample for this and I could care less.

I tried this for the first time in late June and have been thinking about it since. There was something special about it, but I only had a quick test with it in a Nordstrom while travelling for work. From that time, I’ve wanted to come back to it despite YouTube reviewers giving it average to slightly above average remarks.
A lot of recent releases feel redundant to me and because I already have more bottles than I’ll ever be able to go through in my collection, I refuse to buy something new until it both A) Wows me as something truly unique and enjoyable (check!), & B) Can be found for less than full retail via eBay or Notino (check!). The last scent I experienced this with at a department store counter was with Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme back in like 2012/2013.
I tested it again last week and got 6-7 hours of SOLID full bodied presence on my wrist (skin), going on a full week on my jacket cuff (clothing) and just now starting to fade. That night I kept getting whiffs from an arm’s length distance and found myself looking like a fool out to dinner bringing my wrist to my nose every few minutes coming back for more. VERY alluring. My friends asked what I had on and our waitress complimented me which of course made my friends want to go out and buy a bottle.
ANYWAY- I got home that night, did some research and found a deal. I purchased a full sealed 3.4 oz. bottle from a reputable seller on eBay (ediscountperfumes, $89.95 + free shipping) and I CANNOT WAIT to rock this all fall, winter, and next spring.
Finally, I have and love Dior Homme Eau and after reading comparisons of that to the original Prada L’Homme then this back to the original, I held off on the purchase until my second encounter I just described. It’s very unique to Dior Homme Eau and yes, it does have a hint of Dior Homme Parfum, but only a hint.. mainly the leathery sandalwood drydown.
My recommendation: At least sample it and if you enjoy it, buy a bottle if you can get it on the low or put it on your wishlist for the upcoming holidays. C
