Description
The house of Prada launches La Femme Prada and L’Homme Prada mid-2016. The new fragrant “pair of equals” represents man and woman that are “reunited in an identical vision. She could be him, he could be her. She is an absolute woman, he is an absolute man. There is not an obvious definition of relationship between them. They could be lovers, friends, or even strangers. Both have multiple identities.“
La Femme Prada is a classic Prada scent that is shunning from clichés and trends to redefine floral perfumes and femininity. Frangipani flower is interwoven with iris bearing the DNA of the house, enriched with spices, beeswax and tuberose. Available as a 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum. The nose behind this fragrance is Daniela (Roche) Andrier.

Just retested it. It’s so beautifully packaged and presented, and I should love it based on the notes, but in the end I just find it pleasantly sweet and smooth. There’s no spark of interest for me. Nice for gifting, probably.
pritvorshik – :
Solid perfunctory white floral offering from Prada. No stems and leaves, no clever tricks, just lots of sweet, soapy, creamy frangipani and jasmine from beginning to end.
snapshots16 – :
Gorgeous perfume. In the beginning it seemed rather generic to me, therefor i avoided testing it many times. But on a warm summer day after half an hour it blooms into a rich creamy floral beauty. Addictive.
Lerikk_07 – :
Beautiful sweet fragrance. It starts powerful on my skin. Really powerful, but it tones down in just a few minutes and becomes a sweet, elegant, round fragrance that I would wear for a dinner in an elegant restaurant. It is a balanced sweetness, not sickly at all. And there is something fresh reminding me of berries and perfumed letter writing paper from the Eighties. A very interesting perfume.
Dimashka31 – :
I went through a phase with this and really loved it for a while. It’s clean and shower fresh, also tropical and mildly sweet with a zing of spice. I went through about 30 ml over spring and summer, but now I feel it is so piercing to the nose. It is pleasant and inoffensive on the daily, but right now I’m in a phase of enjoying scents with smooth edges and creamy drydowns. La Femme just feels too harsh, maybe too clean, which is sad because I love the bottle, love the notes and Prada as a brand. I may go back to it next spring or summer, but in the meantime I will be giving it a long break from use.
incognitosam – :
Beautifully blended with no sharp edges – so Prada. The beeswax and frangipani differentiates this to the L’eau but brings to mind Dolce & Gabbana (apple red cap) without the grand sillage and presence. It belongs on a perfectly well-coiffed expensively clad woman. Very proper. Covetable bottle but a shame the scent does not fit me.
One spray on me:
Sillage: almost arm’s length but no trail
Longevity: surprisingly three to four hours
Rating: 1/5
Игорь1991111 – :
Prada La Femme is a very pretty but mundane sweet white floral perfume. It’s not in any way distinctive to me; nothing about it stands out or is especially memorable. The tuberose is well-behaved here, so it may be a good choice for those who want to explore that note but generally find it too loud or screechy. The frangipani gets lost in the shuffle. The beeswax note is also very much in the background and I think it would have added some much-needed interest if it was a tad waxier. Go with Elie Saab for a better take on this sort of thing.
broma – :
I don’t like tuberose but this perfume smell like heaven.I love it.it’s sweet and flowery but not heavy at all.it’s warm and gold and expensive and very very high class.a little vanilla and a little powdery and woody in it drydown.I wear it spring and summer and I will wear at autumn too.it’s very very good longevity all day and night but no sillage.my friends just smell when hug me and they say it’s very beautiful but weak sillage.I’m very sad because of this

First spritz….awesome !! This is a “wooded down floral in my opinion. The overly pungent sweetness of the florals included in this scent seem to be enhanced with the woods…like covering them..and then they “peak” thru the woody/earthy-ish notes…I like that effect…and this is a great scent….but….then..like others have said…it becomes a skin scent rather too rapidly…and another..but….I still want to buy a bottle !!! LOL. Have to find it at a lower price to justify the purchase….mmmmmmm….love it !!
EDIT: I sampled the INTENSE version of this….and…..NO!!!…..IMO, I find that it is “different” and just not as good as the original……just sayin !! And I think “intense” is over-used on a lot of fragrances,as this one is not “intense-er” than the original….How bout calling them #1 and #2…??.lol.
1983jeka – :
I sampled it and I almost love it! Smells divine, but the think I don’t like is the longevity and the sillage. It’s close to the skin. I wish to last longer for the high price…

It’s reminds me the wedding nights.sweet & floral.and it’s a happy scent.i like to wear it in fall & winter because it’s kind of warm.but i always forget that i own it.like it’s not mine and when I wear it i feel like I’m not myself.weird.

At first blast, this hits me as ‘Ohhhh this is GOOD…this is what it reminds me to smell like a woman and to FEEL like a woman..’..stunning, gorgeous, nearly takes my breath away.
BUT…that initial gorgeous spray blast lasts a couple of minutes and this dries down to sort of a basic feminine soapy white floral. Not too heavy on the white floral, I am picking up other general floral notes, but make no mistake, there is a white floral note here, and you likely WILL smell it first and foremost.
For me, with Prada La Femme, I get a soapy white floral with hints of general floral and definitely a yellow floral and the beeswax note pulls though for me/on me. The vetiver is hiding in the background, keeping this from being too screechy (like some predominant white florals can) and from being too floral in general, so it blends in very nicely. I do not pick up the pepper note really, if very slightly when straining to sniff, but I can still tell it is there, cleverly blended in, again, like the vetiver, keeping this from being too heavy on the white floral and also keeps this from being definitely not screechy. I am not picking up the vanilla at all, but I’m sure it is blended in there, giving this sort of a creaminess; but I do not pick up a specific vanilla note. Same for the iris note, I can’t detect distinct iris per say, but that might be the ‘general floral’ smell that I pick up.
All in all, I would say it is a safe bet that you must love white florals, or La Femme won’t be your cup of tea. But again, there are other notes that keep this from being screechy, at least on my skin. As always, YMMV. 🙂
Not heavy nor overpowering (I suppose unless you spray this too heavily, then it might be ‘too heavy’). Moderate sillage. Longevity is good, I get about 8 hours.
eldas – :
To Carogoesforadri: have you tried the Intense version yet? Maybe you’ll find the “missing” part in that one. Have fun 🙂
gcfFDXSdtfsmhkgqun – :
I initially loved this, but the more time I spend with it, the more I feel like something’s just… missing. I don’t know what, but it’s what pushes “great” into the realm of “staggeringly great”.
Maybe it’ll grow on me, maybe I’ll figure out what’s missing… maybe.

I love this. To me, it is a watered down, buttered up TM Innocent. It’s beautiful.

It is feminine.
It is inspiring.

Volf Devil – :
Totally am not a fan of Prada Candy line at all, but I really enjoy this one. It caught me by surprise when I was not intentionally looking for it. The tuberose in this one, as well as in Tom Ford Soleil Blanc EDP, is considered the most beautiful and well done tuberose in my opinion (Chapter One by Jennifer Aniston is pretty too and cheaper in price). When it is done right, tuberose can be very pleasant, creamy and comforting. Ralph Lauren with a new release last year “Woman”, is also considered another nice “Pour Femme” perfume 🙂 “Woman” presents lovely tuberose too.
I also love the soft “spice” in this La Femme, just enough to still be feminine and adding “character”. Longevity is amazing and sillage is great! Well done!
cs16css – :
Smells very sophisticated, beautiful and warm. Not heavy at all.

I purchased the holiday box set for La Femme on a whim a few weeks ago because it was on sale at a local dept. store. The first time spraying it at home, I was a little disappointed in my choice – it was not that interesting nor particularly long lasting, to my nose.
But I keep coming back to La Femme. The opening on me is incredibly floral, but this stage lasts five minutes, maximum (the tuberose). From there, it opens up to this fabulously rich honey vanilla beeswax scent, and I think that this is what keeps drawing me back. It’s a warm, sweet-but-not-childishly-sweet fragrance that makes me want to wrap myself in the softest sweaters I have. This scent is warmth on a cool day, happiness.
La Femme quickly becomes a skin scent on me, but my boyfriend loves it. It lasts approx 4-5 hours max, but since I got the lotion in the box set, I can prolong it for another couple of hours by layering with the lotion. I envision this one mostly getting pulled out on cool weekend mornings, mornings when I’m working from home, mornings when I need a pick me up. As someone who avoids sweet scents (perhaps to a fault), preferring powdery/dry/iris/tea scents – La Femme serves as a warm hug, a welcome foil to the rest of my collection.
ittssprress – :
This is the ultimate strong powdery perfume. It’s really growing on me and it would layer great w any of the candies
iluxin – :
Tuberose and lots of honey are all I sense in this, but just those two things together are intoxicating in a simple, not too over-the-top or overdone way. Think about how Chloe has honeyed roses, and instead of the honeyed roses, you have honeyed tuberose. I agree with a few of the other people when they say it reminds you of a beach, but nothing like Soleil Blanc. Very rich and worth the price.
This reminds me of McQueen Eau de Parfum by Alexander McQueen.
visurvai – :
so comfortable fragrance for me.love it a lot.my favorite especially for hot summer
MPT – :
The first minute I found it interesting. Maybe finally a Prada for me. Not so fast. The middle stage is spices and baby powder and … camphor? The opening floral notes are gone except the iris. Dry down is a spicy cupcake, and it’s *very* soapy. Not a fan of baby powder or cupcake. Pass.
DomiNoXXX – :
I have received a sample of this from buying another perfume and I have to say I really do like the smell – the beeswax is just so appealing to me and it’s even stronger than other notes on my skin.
I really was thinking of getting a bottle but the problem came with sillage and longevity – I can barely smell it by myself when I wear it on my neck and it settles as skin scent in a incredibly fast speed. I was initially thinking if it’s becos it’s a sample bottle so one spray is not enough. Yet I tried with a few more sprays, repeatedly doing this for days, and it’s just the same.
I honestly feel quite sad with the performance on me cos I really do like La Femme…
CialisFarmaco – :
It’s pretty nice! Soft and creamy, perfect for the fall mornings! Lasts quite long and it’s very versatile.

expressul – :
This is the new, modern, updated, toned down Amarige.
spiker123 – :
Bouquet of soft flowers – soft, not screechy, and not sugary. Definitely tuberose and tiare done softly. Within 20 minutes, it morphs into a clean fresh scent (think right out of the shower). For the rest of time, it is just a soapy clean scent. I would use this for after the gym but that is a lot of bucks for good, clean, soapy scent! Maybe I’ll get lucky and find that gorgeous bottle greatly discounted at Winners. For now, I will continue loving my Prada Infusion collection.
Sillage: arm’s length (just like other Prada fumes)
Longevity: about 4 hours (then wispy soft for the next 4)
Rating: 2/5 (great bottle, well-done soapy clean scent but too pricey)
Juinegesiny – :
Sprayed it yesterday at Vienna airport and thought it smelled ok and clean. On the little paper test strip and on my clothes it smells like clean, green, mediocre shampoo days later. It´s nothing special but not bad either. You can´t do much wrong with this one in my opinion. I would choose it as a tolerable, personal, morning office fragrance or while travelling in hot and humid climates.
valerik07 – :
Underwhelmed. I almost completely dismissed La Femme on first spritz — very generic department store fizziness with nothing distinctive at all.
Vaguely it starts to remind me of Versace Vanitas with its tropical floral and pretty happy light — for the scent I enjoy Vanitas more.
However as La Femme dries down, I get an interesting texture of smoothness, lightly waxy then morphing into a balmy powder which I attribute to the beeswax. Still it’s not enough to move me in any way. Amp it up and we might get something a little more intriguing. I was hoping La Femme would be uber femme, hyper elegant and bold-sexy like the bottle.
It’s nice, inoffensive, pretty. And that is all. Disappointed as I’ve owned a few Pradas with real character (Opoponax No. 8, Prada Intense, Infusion d’Iris Absolue, Amber Pour Homme). This is safe, versatile, and vaguely elegant. My husband likes this quite a lot and says it smells like clean sensual skin. Still, I remain uncaptivated.

Longevity – none
Sillage – from the first spritz, none
Creativity – nope
Prada, are you kidding me? What am I paying for? The bottle?
I much prefer Guerlain Idylle or even Cartier Baiser Vole, which are more recognizable, creative and surely more there, to smell them , after 5,6 hours. This one dissapears after minutes. Nope, I won’t spend my money on something so faint and common.

This is lovely, especially wafted in the air. There is a watery fresh tuberose and sunny tropical frangipani. I also smell dusky ylang ylang, giving this fragrance a bit more of a saucy feeling. It does have some spice, but not a whole lot, it’s not a very spicy fragrance. There also is a waxy quality, like the flowers are being concentrated into their honeyed form and poured into plasticine wells. It’s like the beeswax has been filled with potent floral honey, and the perfume is the soft almost tropical oceanic breeze that flows above the beeswax, carrying the cooling scent to you.
PsyX81 – :
A nice daily scent for the summer period, which smells quite simple and light, and sometimes a bit boring, despite the intriguing notes and the classy bottle. For me it’s all about easy-to-wear tuberose, mixed with an exaggerated dose of coconutty-ish frangipani, and a sweet greenish vibe in the background.
I bought it before testing the intense version of it (which appeared to be more interesting than the original), and before Gucci Bloom hit the market (which I found to be a better interpretation of a realistic flowers bouquet, with attractive tuberose).
Anyhow, Prada La Femme (this version) reminds me with (Cavalli Paradiso Assoluto), only as a younger sister of the Cavalli. Side by side comparisons facilitate noticing the similarities. For me, the Cavalli wins the battle between the two.
mishel8066 – :
Oh my I adore this one! I wasn’t very excited about La Femme…another floral featuring tuberose and frangiapani. Ylang. Vanilla. The spices and beeswax were intriguing but I still didn’t have high hopes for this. The bottle, though gorgeous, looked serious to me. Well, I love it. The combination of the white and yellow florals with the spices and vanilla is surprisingly different here, and addicting! And I’m not sure I can pick out the beeswax specifically but whatever it’s doing is divine! Everything blends in so well together. There is a coolness in this fragrance that I find so refreshing – perfect for a mild summer. It has good sillage and longevity is about 8 hours on me. Love!
wertik9 – :
Prada La Femme is one of those tricky scents to describe. It’s a rather complex mish-mash of notes where no note tends to dominate.
I enjoy smelling Prada La Femme however I am hesitant to buy it. On my skin it’s a warm, slightly sweet tuberose fragrance which dries down to an even smoother, creamier and somewhat clean floral. Due to its crazy, busy composition my nose tires quickly and I find that I am having to reach for the coffee beans more often than I’d like.
I am unsure as to where this fragrance fits in the current market. Its sweet vanilla-honey scent would appeal to the younger market, however the bottle design and advertising points it in the direction of more mature, classy, brand conscious women.
Despite the fact that I quite like this honeyed, creamy and tropical interpretation of tuberose, I have grave fears for its future. It’s definitely unique, I’ll give it that, but in saying so it’s also a confusing, hard to wear fragrance. At this point in time I would highly recommend testing on your skin first, as Prada La Femme is not something that anyone should be blind purchasing.
Prada La Femme is definitely not a white floral. I would categorise it as an oriental floral although it’s not particularly ambery nor spicy. In lots of ways it’s nearly as controversial as the 2004 Prada Amber.
lyocha71 – :
Oh Prada this is what I have been waiting for. Not to say I don’t have respect for your other scents, but with this one you have blown me away. The opening a sweet floral dream that just gets better and better. As a person who can’t get enough of frangipani this is my perfect scent. The saffiano leather coating on the curve of the bottle, along with a design that not only matches the male counterpart but interlinks with it. Who wouldn’t want that on their dresser? Prada has really ticked all the boxes for me here with this new line as I could also rave about La’ Homme just as much. The only one disappointment was the bottle that the lotion comes in. Nothing flashy there, the lid matches nicely but the bottle is just a simple design plastic. personally when I love a scent enough to buy the lotion I do like the packaging to be gorgeous too. The body cream seems to have a premium feel with the perfect matching saffiano leather. I just wish that prada had brought a bit of its premium feeling to the lotion too (as pathetic as that sounds but I am happy to admit sometimes packaging makes the produt that bit more special).
Cannot wait to get the intense version.
den280377 – :
Smells very elegant, classy and über sophisticated. Glamorous. Expensive.
Everything blends well, especially the frangipani, iris, yang ylang and tuberose with the sweet honeyed feel from the beeswax and the creaminess floating from the vanilla.

gaddy – :
According to every single note, this fragrance could never be my cup of tea. I really hate tuberose, for example.
I smelled it before reading the pyramid and I was pleasantly surprised by it. The perfume is elegant, sweet but in a really grown-up way, not girly. I like it very much. I’ve got a sample and I wore it several times.
There is something similar with Songes by Annick Goutal (that I admit is beautiful but I cannot stand on my skin). I think it depends on the frangipani. Prada La Femme is much more subtle and chic in a very Prada’s way. Maybe it’s too “politically correct” but I think this perfume could be perfect for many occasions. Really well balanced, soft, round, not powdery or gourmand, comforting and confident. Elegant and modern! Great job!
Inmertiol – :
Love at first smell ! Oh God, I love tuberose, needed years to figure that out. No doubt Amarige was my signature scent. But this one is lighter, graceful in its own delicate way. Although floral are not my top interest at the moment: I love gourmand, oriental and a little unusual as well, unisex or masculine; it’s nice to return to this kind of fragrance, very nostalgic.
alenaGrl – :
I like this for a mature yet bright female. I would buy this for my mother who is vibrant and in her 50’s… #sniff but I still say someone in their late 20’s can still rock this as well. I know the tuberose automatically matures the fragrance but the spices shake it up and makes it dance! Great job PRADA!
Yes the price point is a little high but keep in mind this is an EDP…! :-=
saiger – :
On me its a clean floral scent with sweet nuances. If it did not have the beeswax or some spice to it then it would be dated and vintage smelling. Its still mature, great work scent but modern. I like having it in my collection. Perfect for those days where you just want to smell clean.
amabursuamb – :
I “found” it in Douglas some days ago, sprayed my wrist and fell in love. It is a bit expensive for the moment, but I will surely buy this one in future. It is warm, it is sweet, but even though it was hot the day I tried it, it did not give me any headache. Beautiful, the beeswax is a nice note here, I detect it and like it a lot, as I am in general honey lover.
Metaffevy – :
I. Love. This. It’s what I wanted Soleil Blanc to be, but that smelled like Captain Crunch to me. I’m a lover of beachy perfumes, but have been in the mood to branch out from Bobbi Brown’s Beach. On me, this smells like someone brought me a bouquet of flowers while I was sitting on the beach in fancy sun oil. Vanilla, Frangipani and Beeswax are strongest here for me. I get coconut, though I know there isn’t any? Love.
heops – :
Feminine and pretty. On my skin, the ghost of Amarige. I will probably buy if I see a good deal but right now I think it’s overpriced for what it is.

Its a perfect match on my skin….flowers, soft, round, sensual.

drugov07 – :
I find La Femme to be beautiful and easy to wear. This is a breezy, womanly, comforting fragrance and it is somehow a mood-booster for me.
La Femme is a creamy, white floral/”beachy” fragrance. Sure, the category has been done one thousand times over, (and done well) but I like this particular version. This reminds me of other fragrances, particularly Poudre de Riz from Huitieme Art. Compared to similar scents, La Femme is warmer and “friendlier” than Chanel Beige, more easy-going than the trumpeting Songes, and less tropical than Lolita Lempicka Elle L’aime.
La Femme is billowy. It sort of reminds me of horchata or eggnog…with fatty white flowers on the side. There is a cool shimmering note darting through all the honey and cream dollops, which adds a very Italian, clean dimension to an otherwise thick composition. Tuberose is muted on my skin – sweet, not bubblegum on me at all. I think this fragrance will open up nicely in warm weather.
I dig La Femme and will wear this in the Summer regularly.
hao661intitytek – :
This is a very interesting composition. I tried it without looking at the notes and found it reminded me of a mix of the original Elie Saab Le Parfum and L’eau Couture but with a distinct twist of its own. I would not have guessed tuberose, it has a white floral character that I find leans more towards orange flower and/or gardenia. I recognize the frangipani from Kenzo Amour and it mingles beautifully with ylang ylang. I can sense the beeswax now that I see that note, it adds an intangible character that is very hard to describe and makes the composition more complex. Atomic sillage, radiates like hell from the crook of my arm even as I write this. Creamy, warm, non-tropical, somehow semi-soapy in an expensive shower gel way. Bravo.
lansia – :
I don’t get why I just cannot tolerate big doses of tuberose in fragrances…
It’s quite mature scent. Woody, powerful, serious. Lots of tuberose so you must love this flower to be able to love this scent.
eei949speagoessenda – :
OMG I LOVE IT
bubblegum awesome , what’s up with the bad reviews this is cool
vad23 – :
Quite a deceiving scent.
At first spray it sweet bubblegum florals and a touch of powder.
But once it settles into my skin it changes dramatically.
The sweetness disappears and more of the iris, frangipani and woodiness come through.
It stays fresh/woody/powdery from there on.
I see this scent as “professional” I’m not sure why but i associate it with class, manors and simplistic beauty.
paymbonna – :
A very lovely and ladylike scent. I tested this today at Bloomingdale’s and I get mostly honeyed sweetness and something that sits between white flowers (tuberose) and yellow flowers (frangipani), but isn’t too strongly either one. It’s creamy and easy and I can imagine a woman wearing this in the spring or summer. The tuberose, on me, is very polite and well-mannered…not much skank but a little waxiness…this Femme sits with her legs crossed, if you catch my drift… 😉
vroaoqxspzz – :
This is a review of in a single sentence (having been my first review thoughtlessly deleted):
Avon White Flowers Handcreme, in a very expensive bottle.
If you are happy with it and you can afford to pay 80 € for a bottle, go ahead. There are far better options in the market by a fraction of the price.
spoil_22 – :
Seems that Prada La Femme is acting differently on skins.
The opening for me is fresh fresh fresh, no beeswax (not yet) and no pepper. Instead something sweet and gourmand-like develops, it has to be vanilla and frangipani. It settles sweet but not cloying, which is a good sign. Then it gets floral again, acid flowers and something buttery emerges, it becomes honey-ish. Reminiscent of an older type perfume, sometimes I get Ysatis Givenchy out of it. It’s definitely flowers but the best part is the waxy drydown. You know that feeling when you enter the church and smell the wax and the fumes? Lovely waxy floral drydown.
White floral/yellow floral? Not so much
Woody? Someone is joking me…
Tuberose? Kind of. I have smelled better interpretations of tuberose; this one does not amuse me, but it’s a good one
Animalic? Honestly this is more animalic than floral or woody. At least on my skin
Lasting power and projection are moderate. Overall I approve of the juice, there are chances for me to wear it in the summer. An unusual scent between all the food-like fragrances.
svetxd – :
Fine and elegant scent, I get mostly the yellow flowers even if I hoped for more tuberose. A light honey sweetness that has nothing gourmand or cloying, in the drydown it becomes a creamy but still flowery goodness without being too powdery. I get absolutely no masculine vibe , to me vetiver gives this creation the perfect roundness to define pure feminity. It is a complete woman: wonderful presence in society, sweet wife and kindest mother. Somehow it reminds me of Amarige de Givenchy, but without the screechy notes and perfectly blended.
This scent is very much “La femme” and “the Lady” I have dreamed of in the world of scents. Prada surprised me, I was used to classy but pretty sober and with an unisex touch in the creations from Prada.
Sillage is an arm length for 3-4 hours then it becomes a skin scent for some more 3-4 hours. It is winter now in Europe and I have the feeling the perfume is at its best. I can’t wait to see how it develops in warm weather.
Edit: Not only behaves this perfume differently on different people but also variies with the day/mood/weather/air humidity. I got my beloved tuberose, iris, butter wax out of it, all in perfect blended proportions. I don’t get it how some get “Avon” vibes out of these… such a pity for them.
My skin enjoys this high-class scent and therefore Iove it!

Quite lovely and elegant. Subtle vanilla undertones. I get a strong honey vibe from this (though it is listed as beeswax). Not overwhelming. Sweet, quiet and lady-like with GREAT sillage.

This is really lovely. However, on my skin it is a lot like another fragrance I own. This smells really similar to Couture Couture by Juicy Couture. But the Couture Couture lasts longer on me so I kept a small decant of Prada La Femme and swapped the rest of the bottle. That probably seems strange, Afterall, they only share a few notes in common, but the overall effect of the scents manage to be strikingly similar. While they are not exact replicas of one another, they are definitely close enough that I didn’t need full bottles of both!
It does smell nice. Classy. Inoffensive. Projection and longevity on PLF leave much to be desired though. If you like this one, do check out Couture Couture. I think you’ll like it as well.
risha – :
Yes, this is indeed very ‘femme’ in the sense that it’s pretty, quite elegant, not loud, and quite sensual. I find it a slightly sweet milky floral, with just the right amount of tartness and warm depth to save it from being too typical.
No patchouli, no fudge-like sweet notes, no ice-cream sundae sticky fruity notes, plus no screechy synthetic florals either thankfully! I like it, it feels contemporary, though it’s not challenging at all and it’s very easy to wear – quite light.
There’s something about it that reminds me of Narciso (the white bottle) a milky quality which is probably thanks to the tuberose, ylang and frangipani bouquet. Femme is more complex I think – more sophisticated maybe?)
The ylang is lovely – lending that slight soapiness that it does in certain perfumes (I’m thinking of the dry-down of Samsara EDT though this has nothing else in common with Samsara – just the way ylang behaves, a nice floral silky note that enhances skin somehow and makes me think of freshly showered skin in summer)
I’d also say this falls enough on the side of sensual to make it a perfect date perfume, maybe not ideal for work. It depends on your style and whether you’d find the soft feminine silkiness too frivolous for the workplace!
Very nice, it’s not ‘love’ as it doesn’t wow me as such, but it does makes me think that Prada have long ago taken over from Bulgari in these elegant wearable perfumes to suit all tastes. (my own favourite being Infusion d’Iris). Bulgari had that distinction in the 90s and a bit later, then got a bit mainstream and predictable, in my opinion anyway!

Rich, warm floral. First spray reminds me of coppertone sunscreen–just for a few minutes. I like that, though, because it’s a fun reminder of summertime and that phase doesn’t last very long. Once it starts to dry down, it smells like sweet tropical flowers and reminds me of that feeling of being right out of the shower with the clean smells of soap and shampoo lingering, along with perfume. I do smell tuberose, but it smells quite natural, like the bouquets of tuberose I used to be able to buy at Costco of all places. I don’t usually enjoy strong t
