Not nearly as sweet as I though it’ll be, which was actually a nice surprised.
Sadly my skin amplifies the powdery notes to the point all I get is baby powder.
    What a shame.

I did not expect to like this. Kind of assumed it would be a hyper-sugary light fragrance a la Vera Wang’s Princess.
Hyper-sugary it is – but it’s not fruity or artificial. It smells like homemade caramel fresh out of the pan. I actually smell BUTTER in this.
It sticks to clothing and makes it smell gorgeous, too.

I hoped this would be a heavenly caramel fragrance but… no. The caramel smells a bit cloying on my skin. The musk makes it somewhat dusty. It’s a very thick and dense fragrance. It kinda reminds me of old sweat. No, this is not working for me.
Performance however is great. Sillage is moderate-heavy and longevity is about 6-8 hours.

i just dont get the draw to this scent lol……it doesnt smell tempting at all on me…….BUT i do love some of the offsprings of this fragrance though………..i love florale, kiss & gloss 🙂 maybe its the caramel……..maybe since its a strong caramel scent maybe thats the issue maybe if the vanilla was stronger in it i would like it better 🙁 just maybe lol……….
well another perfume sent back nordstroms lol………..

This stuff lasts forever on my clothes (and skin too but clothing even more.) I bought a second bottle to put away in case they change the formula. It’s a really nice “sleep” scent that is super cozy and fluffy

First of all, I am NOT a big fan of sweet gourmand fragrances… I do not hate them but I am not attracted by them like I am with fresh and clean fragrances… I guess it’s the reason why I waited so long before trying this one… “Candy”… sounds sweet and gourmand, and yes it is in a way, but I guess it’s because of the musk, it has a freshness to it that I was’nt expecting at all!! I adore it!!! To me it’s the perfect fall fragrance! It is not juvenil like the name suggests, at least to me! The perfect clean sweet fragrance!

A sweet, powdery delight. I find this scent very satisfying in its simplicity because it isn’t linear at all despite so few notes. They all play well together and take turns in the spotlight. At first I get lots of sugary talcum powder, then luscious caramel and vanilla custard, then spicy musk.. everytime I get a whiff there is something different. A real gem of a fragrance that is popular for good reason!

Prada Candy is just “meh” to me. I love the Florale and sugar pop versions, but this one is just ok. I desperately want to get caramel, but it eludes me. I just get a sweet gourmand. I’ll keep and use my small decant, but doubt I’d ever purchase a full size.

This fragrance is ruined–RUINED I SAY!–by my skin’s reaction to benzoin. I smell like nothing but an unrelenting benzoin cloud with this and it makes me sick (literally and figuratively speaking).

Due to the name, I dismiss this, but it was a tester in September 2018 Harper’s BAZAAR, and I thought it wasn’t so bad. It had a dimension to it.
So I came on here and learn that it had powder notes. It elevates it. It make it unique. I don’t think I will ever lean to this but only as much that I would give it a review. It’s decent in in the theme of Prada.–most of the scent are powdery. I like powdery

Candy? I’ve never had powdery candy and it doesn’t seem appetizing. It’s sweet but it doesn’t smell edible to me. The powdery notes do give it an older vibe. I’ve worn it a few times and I’ve gotten exactly 0 compliments on it.
I realize this fragrance has a lot of fans. I’m not suggesting it smells bad, but I am saying it’s not as universally likable as some make it out to be. You should definitely get a sample before purchasing this one. .

I just want to take a minute to appreciate Prada Candy. In a market with so many imitations of Coco Mademoiselle, La Vie Est Belle, Black Opium, and Flowerbomb, this is different. It’s a great, solid, simple, elegant gourmand that is quietly confident. I don’t think it smells cheap as others have said. The musk and benzoin make this sophisticated and subtly sexy, and I need to wear this gem more often!

    Im disappointed! 🙁
I was hoping to like this. And I thought I would, but I do NOT.
I associate this with an old lady, im sorry, but I do! It smells like an old ladys bathroom.
I heard some people say its a “mature” or “sophisticated” sweet. But oh god, I had never imagined it would smell THAT mature!
Its probably just some associations that I have, I guess my grandma have used something that smelled similar to this.
Keywords: Powdery, macadamia oil, old-smelling(to me), soapy, not that sweet.
NOT A SAFE BLIND BUY. Try before buy.

This fragrance is sooooo long lasting! I sprayed it in my hair and it lasted the whole day. Even after I showered with shampoo and conditioner I could still smell it in my hair.

Prada candy ( pre reformulation bottle, as in not a watery one a good strong one,) had me thinking the other day how clever it is.
See it refrains from being a teenage sweet scent and remains classy and elegant and not at all cheap because
It mixes candy sweet with heaps of powder, and benzoin , a balsamic warm fluffy note, it stopped it
From being a young girlie scent, and instead is much more complex !!
Love how this perfume gives you sweetness drizzed over so much sexy musky ,warm ,balsamic ,powdery goodness.
Never smelled any thing else like this.
It’s very clever because it’s classy sweet / expensive /lushious and
it works for us slightly older women that may feel a too sugary only Perfume might be only for younger ladies.
Prada bridged the gap and made a sweet powdery musky stunning beauty for all ages !
replaced this 3 times its that good ! if your not keen i will gladly accept donations 🙂 haha 🙂
Love this classy yummy powdery goodness !!
    10/10

Being named Candy, this was definitely not as sweet as I was expecting. To me, the amber & musk notes are the most prominent, followed by the balsam & vanilla. I don’t get any caramel notes at all. Honestly, imo, this a grandma type fragrance, trying to be sweet. Thumbs down for me.

This is my favorite bedtime fragrance. The sweetness, powderiness, and slight warmth make me feel so cozy! It is probably the best powdery fragrance I’ve tried. It’s so soft and feminine and gives me an old school makeup/fragrance vibe.
That being said, I’m a nitpicker when it comes to fragrance names, and to me, “Candy” just does not fit here. The caramel is noticeable, but the powdery note is so much more significant to me. It doesn’t have a rich, deep, gourmand layer that I would expect from a name like Candy. Like I said, this is my favorite fragrance for bedtime, and in my head, something “Pillowtalk” or anything related to sleep/bed/sheets/cotton/coziness/comfort would perfectly embody the vibes I get from it. Just smelling it now can make me sleepy!
Longevity on me is poor, but it doesn’t bother me because I don’t want the scent to be present when I wake up 🙂

I don’t understand the price tag on this perfume. This lasts as long as edt, maybe not even that. It’s a weak, syrupy scent. Vaguely reminiscent of toffees or something like that. Not impressive. No depth or development. Pathetic longevity. Don’t waste your $$$. Come on Prada!! Do you have to ruin every good perfume with watered down reformulations? Why not come out with an intense version? That might smell closer to what I expected this to smell like.

When I first tried this on, it was from a little sample spray vial that came as a freebie with a fragrance purchase. That was back in 2012. I fell in love with it instantly. The opening was rich caramel, sweet, but far from sickly! It began drying down into a sugary warm-spicy vanilla, very intoxicating. The musky/woody base notes were perfectly balanced. Sillage and longevity were both moderate, but lasted better than my other scents. However, I had no excuse to spend the asking price on a full size bottle then. Just too costly.
It wasn’t until this year (2018) I finally purchased this for myself, and I was/am so disappointed. All I get now from this fragrance is watery hints of what was once luscious caramel followed by a faint whiff of vanilla. Almost no spices or base notes even show through. I see a lot of people calling this a skin scent. It didn’t use to be, in fact it was so bold and rich when it first came out that quite a few people found it to be too heavy. I’m guessing the folks calling this new version of Candy a simple skin scent never tried the original formulation of this fragrance. It’s no better than a glorified body mist in a ridiculously expensive package now. A tragedy really. It was so perfect once upon a time! I will never spend good money on this perfume again.
    Scent: 6/10
    Sillage: 3/10
    Longevity: 5/10

  21. :

This is just my “smell”. It doesn’t smell foreign or separate from me it’s just the actual smell of my skin at this point. What I’m awkwardly trying to say is that this is my 24/7 perfume. I absolutely love it. It’s sort of linear in my opinion, as it only changes slightly for me. It’s never cloyingly sweet, it’s caramel is very balanced with powdery musk. At the very end dry down it turns the most wonderful mellow, only slightly sweet root beer-like scent on me.
The sillage and longevity are both weak, but I think that’s why I never get sick of it . It’s unassuming, unobtrusive. I’m not really interested in leaving an accosting aggressive trail or cloud of scent in my wake anyways. It always kind of puts me off when someone’s fragrance is strong and right under my nose when I’m not even near them, almost like they’re shoving themselves into my bubble from afar. Even if it’s a nice smell.
Anyways give it a try. It’s my one true love. My husband, mom, sister, all love it too!

When I discovered this perfume (my all time favorite), I said to the seller, ” I smell a perfume that smells like a cake and I want that perfume.. sweet like a cake” and he gave me this! Sweet like a cake, irresistible! and the problem is that it has caramel, and rare are the perfumes that contain caramel; therefore, I could not find a similar smell, although I have smelled SO MANY sweet perfumes, but not a single one could beat Prada, Candy, if you love sweet smells. It’s such a delicious smell! That is all I can say

Tested in a department store. Too sweet and sugary for me. But the name is apt and honest.
If you want a sugar fix, this may be for you. I found it lacking in depth and interest.
It’s not sexy. It’s sweet and forgettable.

No surprise that the ad for Prada candy is based off a Marilyn Monroe song.. such a pretty dusty animalic vanilla. Almost reminds me of a cappuccino with it’s milky undertone. For me wearing candy is like going to bed in cute but cmfy lingerie after a warm milk bath with a splash of baby oil.Its such a special smell that is very different despite being vanillary.. you won’t mistake this for another perfume bc it has a very distinct scent.
My boyfriend loves this one and says I smell like an angel ^_^
I want to add that I struggle with anxiety depression and insomnia. Prada candy not only calms me and makes me feel safe. It also helps me sleep at night – use the rollerball every night before bed and I sleep like a baby. This perfume is like home for me. All of my clothes smell like it and my bf recognizes it as my smell. If I could only wear one perfume for the rest of my life it’s candy for sure.

Bought this as a blind buy online and hmmmmmmm … it smells nice like I’ve smelled it before, but I am not smelling any caramel. I ate a caramel and this fragrance, though it contains caramel, smells nothing like the sugary sweet caramel I’ve eaten. Must be the benzoin and musk over powering the caramel.
Now I know. It smells exactly like Giorgio Red. Don’t dislike it. In a matter of fact, I do like it. Was just expecting a different scent – more of a sugary sweet candy caramel or at least a sweet brulé scent.
And since I ran out of my Giorgio Red, hmmmmmm … and yes, I’ll just keep it. So this blind buy did turn out to be a good buy after all.

I do not recommend this cheap caramel smelling fragrance, defined not worth it in any aspect! Smells like a Victoria secret mist can’t remember the name but it’s just caramel and vanilla . So ew

On me it is fresh, powdery, sweet and long lasting. I love it alot! Some of the previous reviews I read are scary but I’m really glad I still went to try it and it turned out the kinda smell I was looking for and want it daily!!! I learned to be careful to take reviews seriously and just go ahead and try it myself!!! I’m not even sure if ppl have taken shower to give these perfumes justice before trying them!!!

I think anyone, any age can easily wear this scent. It’s so easy and pleasant. Must try for vanilla lovers!

Werther’s Original toffee candy. Sweet and buttery and delicious. The initial blast of sweetness is a bit much. I can understand why some do not like the opening. But I quite enjoy it.
Mid-way through it became a bit nondescript, with a lipstick vibe coming through and the sweetness mellowing out. I was worried it would become a generic sweet floralish perfume.
I like it 1-2 hours in. When it settles into a buttery, sweet scent. Will definitely use my miniature more before deciding if I need a full bottle. It is surprisingly pleasant to wear in warm humid weather. Does not become overly cloying, though it is firmly in the sweet category.
I tried this with the L’eau on the other arm and preferred this one. The L’eau seemed to have very discordant notes. But that is a different review for a different day.

As I don’t see that anyone has mentioned this, I get a very strong bitter almond and coconut scent from it! more than anything…and the silage and lasting power is more than most of my perfumes ! not a big fan of it’s smell but it would be nice for cold winters.

Its Powdery AF and makes me smell like a fossil!
No please not for me. Thankfully the perfume bottle was broken at the cap and i was able to exchange it for Gorgio Armani Aqua Di Gioia 🙂

Generic Sweet treat. A little bit more weak than the other popular Sweet designer perfumes. To me uninteresting, but it is not overpowering. I can see this as a safe perfume, that doesnt bother People.

When I first encountered this, I was worried I’d wind up smelling like a cupcake. I mean, it’s called *candy*. I was new to gourmands, and “cupcake” was the last scent I wanted. Strangely, for being called Candy this fragrance doesn’t overdo it on the sweets. The caramel and vanilla are soft, tempered; and I get no musk at all. It’s not powdery on my skin, either. I had a sample of Prada Candy at the same time I had one of Gucci Bloom (a fresh floral), and layered together they were quite wonderful!

I’m wearing this with infusion d’iris cedar and it’s great. They are definitely similar scent. Pradas tend to have a powdery signature

  36. :

caramel and powdery notes with musk first then some hint of benzoin and vanilla to round it out; very soft and close to the skin

  37. :

    5 out of 5

I am conflicted. It is very rare that a fragrance has a musk that does not turn sour on me. This tries, but the caramel + benzoin combo beats it down. Because of this, I really, really want to like it. Yet, it ends up being boring on me. I keep sniffing & hope that something will happen. But, it never seems to develop on me.
The significant other says it smells like “vanilla fruit?” and “is ok.” LOL Considering he normally has opinions…
Shout out to the above posters mentioning the Prada Amber perfume. I got a similarly underwhelming experience with that. Dear skin, why u no like amber?

  38. :

I love this perfume so much! Its so unique…it reminds me of Marie Antoinette. Sort of young and immature, but it has that glorious (to me anyways) older era glamour powdered boudoir powder puffs scent I love so much…like an old soul with a young heart and I adore that! It really drew me in so special;)
Wearing this makes me want to lay on satin sheets with a box of chocolates…hoping for the caramel chocolate ones… in my prettiest chiffon peignoir watching an old b&W…maybe sipping some champagne…yes!

  39. :

    3 out of 5

From reading all the reviews I expected this perfume to be overwhelmingly sweet, something like Pink Sugar. However, this perfume is not that at all. I don’t feel like it’s overwhelmingly sweet one bit. In fact, it’s more complex than the notes let on!
Usually sweet perfumes have a vanilla dry down, but the dry down on this one is more on the powder/musk side. I don’t smell as much vanilla as it says but there definitely is some form of vanilla in there. The vanilla is not your typical sugary sweet vanilla though, which is why I love it. It makes it different than the rest. The strongest note is probably the caramel one. I read a few people saying it has this burnt caramel smell and I agree 100%. Although that doesn’t sound appealing (the scent of something burnt) that’s just the best way I can describe it. Caramel doesn’t have much of a smell when it’s cold, so it’s more like this warm caramel that’s been simmering all day? Don’t know if that makes sense, but I’m trying to make up for the burnt description.
Aside from the sweet, warm note of the caramel, I get this very sharp note in there that hits me right away. It’s almost a sharp, yet sweet citrus. It blends amazing with the caramel. And there’s something almost spicy in there that stays on your skin. The more I wear it the more of a powdery note I get on the dry down.
I would definitely recommend this perfume to almost anyone. Even older, more professional women can wear this. However, I see this being used for a late night out since the warm caramel smell comes off a bit seductive. There’s something so sexy and enticing about this perfume.

i had this a long time ago and i recently bought it again. i LOVE this stuff. it starts out a little alcoholic on first spray then goes to a nice caramel vanilla sweetness. after a while as the caramel dies down i can smell a marshmallow note i haven’t seen anybody mention? either way it’s gorgeous and super comforting. however i will warn it can start to edge into a play doh smell due to the salty caramel, but it never fully goes into it as the caramel scent is pretty clear. amazing stuff. also it seems to last a long time on me despite what i’ve heard about it lasting terribly.

I like sweet, sugary / fruity scents, but apparently I don’t like caramel notes, especially when combined with musk. Definitely not a winner in my book.

Too much sweetness and benzoin for me.

This pulls more lipstick than it does candy. Would rate it higher if the sillage was more noticeable but that isn’t the case.

My husband liked it on me but it gave me a headache. It had a note of baby powder and I usually like baby powder but this was a bit much. I wasn’t a fan.

  46. :

    3 out of 5

For me this is very fruity and peony at the start and then it comes into this benzoin stink. This becomes very powdery still with its, now floral stink but it stays on you for the perfect time. As well and in the pyramid I think it should have some incense, some mint and some lollypop (but for me the lollypop went off) and this gives me bad visions. Basically it is is a very strong note of baby powder at the end so for me altogether that would be a 310. Basically it is is a very strong note of baby powder at the end

  47. :

    5 out of 5

I love this fragrance, it’s pure creamy caramel. Unfortunatly, the longevity is 2-3 hours maximum:( and it is very expensive! But if you’re a caramel lover , you HAVE to try it!

Amazing soft vanilla and benzoin! Benzoin just beated Armani She, and almost Ricci Ricci which I love deeply..At last! My perfect sweet scent! The end! I love it so much and this is my second signature! Farewell Fantasy and Pink Sugar..I am entering new dimensions!

This one it’s difficult, a lot of people ask me how can I describe the smell of the candy in this one, in my opinon the smell it’s more like salty candy!!! The true is that the scent it’s adorable, very original, not for everyone, I just think it’s perfect, one of my signature scents ever.

  50. :

    3 out of 5

Such a shame this has absolutely no longevity or sillage on my skin, however if sprayed on clothes I find this lingers on a bit longer.
This is my comfort scent. This is a warm, cozy kashmir sweater on a rainy, cold afternoon. A very comforting, warm, linear scent which, after wearing for several years now has become my signature scent because it’s so familiar now and just feels like “me”. And since it does not project far it feels very intimate, almost like a skin scent.
This to me is a mature scent, albeit the caramel and vanilla are very sweet, this is not a juvenile fragrance and to my nose does not remind me of candy at all. (I’ve always felt like the marketing on this one did not fit the smell as I see absolutely nothing pink and playful about Prada candy). Prada candy is warm, sweet, creamy and a bit powdery on the drydown, it doesn’t really change throughout wear time and is not complex by any means but there’s something about it that I just can’t get enough of. I think this one is either a love or hate fragrance and I definitely love it!

  51. :

I blind bought this quite a while ago at an outlet store because I heard a lot about it and because I usually love sweet scents. Unfortunately it didn’t live up to the hype at first so I only wore it on those days where the highlight consisted of grocery shopping. I felt like the longevity of this was horrible because I couldn’t smell it on myself at all about ten minutes after applying it, even if sprayed liberally. I got the occasional compliment for it but nothing over the top.
Then a few days ago my boyfriend came back from overseas and I just sprayed this because I was trying to get through the bottle and he told me how good I smelled about every ten minutes throughout the entire night. And then the next day I wore it and the day after that. That is not an exaggeration. He usually comments on a scent once or twice, unless it’s Dior Addict EDP, because that’s what I wore when we first started going out, but nothing like this. So although I can’t really smell what all the hype is about myself, there certainly must be something fascinating about Prada Candy EDP. I probably won’t repurchase it but I decided to leave the bottle at my boyfriend’s house and spray it whenever I’m there. This way at least someone can appreciate it.

Update: Ive noticed a wierd thing with Candy; when i put it on i smell barely any thing until it dries, then i get the powdery caramel hit.
It seems to be that people either get a sickeningly sweet scent or powfery musky notes, depending on their body chemistry, i get the latter luckily, its not that sweet to me, despite the name and ide actually condider a full bottle of this if not for its absolutely abysmal longevity. I dont know if its because i have to dab it on so im only getting a few drops not spraying it all over me, but its pretty pathetic which is a shame because i quite like it

  53. :

The composition includes an elegant mix of musks in the top, a sensual balsamic vanillic accord of benzoin in the heart and sweet modern caramel in the base of the fragrance.
I started liking this, it reminded me of Jessica Simpson Fancy, sweet and spicy. Then it morphed into bug spray on my skin, yuck.
    I have to pass.
If you like this, you should try:
    ~Dior Addict~
    ~JS Fancy~
    ~Pink Sugar~

Prada Candy is my go-to when I want a big hit of caramel. Love the ample benzoin in Candy as well.

This is actually quite nice for a sweet scent.
Im very over sugar bomb gourmands of late and i only got this cos it was in an infusions giftset along with candy leau.
Its creamy burned butter caramel sauce, with slight make up powder notes in the background.( sounds like an odd combo but somehow it just works)
it dries down to a soft vanilla with not too much sweetness, despite its name.
I didnt expect to like this and i dont think ill get a full bottle but its not bad.
Its a gourmand that still maintains the high class sophistication that is in
    all of pradas fragrances.
Candy Leau is a lot nicer IMO, stronger longevity too.

A creamy, comforting caramel scent, Candy is indeed one of the most realistic gourmands I have ever smelled. It literally makes my mouth water and leaves me craving sweets. Ever since I received a small rollerball from Sephora, I always carry it in my bag in case I either forget to wear perfume or I go to the gym throughout the day. For this reason, the smell now strongly reminds me of my workplace, the library. This sweet fragrance combined with the odour of old books must be one of my favourite smells ever.

Wow, lipstick is truly all I detect here, but not in a bad way necessarily. It’s a comforting, nostalgic sweet scent. A lipstick I smelled as a child that came out of my mom’s Caboodle makeup box. I would never wear this out as it’s not my style, but, this is… nice. Nicer than I remember.

  58. :

I have been on a Candy bender lately, wearing all my candy perfumes (and I do have them all) one after the other for a stretch at a time each. I find them all to be best in spring and summer because they are relatively light in terms of sillage. This original is probably the “heaviest” of the bunch, with its pronounced makeup powder note, but it is not too heavy or sweet for warm weather by any means. At least not the kind of warm weather we get in Canada.
I simply adore the powder-benzoin-musk combination and these are the Candy notes most prominent on my skin. The caramel is there, particularly at the top, but it becomes just a sweet afterthought once the perfume is dry. This is not generic to me. And it does stand apart from the rest of the caramel crowd thanks to that powder-musk-benzoin business AND the fact that it is a sweet perfume I can wear when the weather is warm. This one is definitely clean and grown up and, at least on my skin, isn’t something that is so sweet it would give anyone a toothache. Highly recommend if you love a sweet powder like I do.

I have a female friend who wears prada candy. It is so yummy on her. But it could be too sweet for warmer weather so make sure to only use it in winter

A musky caramel that’s slightly more mature than the name and bottle imply. I actually avoided testing this one for the longest time simply because I couldn’t get over the childish presentation and name – I figured I was not the target audience for this fragrance. While I wasn’t wrong – I do not like wearing this – I am glad that I did give it a try eventually.
Soft with poor longevity and mediocre (at best) sillage, this is a light, warm frag to wear when you need a little cozy pick me up to satisfy the sweet tooth of your nose. As mentioned before, it is heavily dominated by it’s musky notes, with hints of the caramel peeking through here and there. This isn’t complicated but does the job, and is perfect for the person who wants to graduate from Pink Sugar but isn’t quite ready for Black Opium or LVEB. Too bad I wouldn’t be able to tell it apart from any other generic caramel, vanillic musks out there.

When I first bought Candy I only got the 30 ml and I went through it very quickly then I got the big bottle and stopped wearing it because I thought it’s not complex enough for being in your early thirties. Well I have had a change of heart. This is absolutely gorgeous. The beauty of this fragrance is the simplicity. It’s a perfect Caramel/vanillic or oriental vanilla fragrance that has hit the market in the last eight years in my opinion. It’s just right for the workplace because it’s not in your face. Longevity is 3 to 4 hours and so comforting. Try it! I’m ordering another big bottle asap! ❤️

Oh man, I forgot how much I like this perfume. I had a rollerball a few years ago and recently received a sample. The caramel is sweet and creamy and so delectable, but I think the benzoin is what really makes this special. The benzoin is warm, rich, spicy, and vanilla-ish. Perfect!

Pure candy – but very soft and wearable.
The bottle is absolutely beautiful and it feels heavy and luxurious.
I would’ve expected the caramel to be a little off-putting for me, but it was something else completely…
I got this as a gift and had to give it away because something in it reminded me of something my mom used to wear when I was a child.
It’s easy-going, easy to approach, but I can’t claim it as my own.
It feels very youthful to me, but I can see a person of any age enjoying it.

I got a sample in the mail and…
Yeah, I didn’t really care for it, I can’t really comment on the longevity or sillage because I sprayed it onto something else. It has this really plastic and powdery smell that just ends up coming off as bitter to my nose. The sweetness also is non-existent. I’ve never smelled a Prada perfume scent so there is nothing I could really compare it to. The caramel is sort of in there but it’s overshadowed by a bunch of musk. This is the kind of scent that you either love or dislike in my opinion. I usually don’t like to throw the word synthetic around but, this is what it is…. synthetic, and cheap smelling.

I don’t like this perfume. It’s not awful, but it doesn’t excite me. I don’t get caramel, but I definitely get sweet plastic that dries down to a soft musk. It does remind me of those scented dolls from the 90s/Early 2000s.

Pure class and one of a kind! Love it forever.❤️

I smelled no caramel or musk in this. If you want a nice caramel then I would suggest Dark Angel by Victorias Secret.

A modern classic scent that’s elegant, sensual and calming, yet fun and vibrant. I absolutely LOVE it! Just wearing this makes me feel fantastic – for that alone, this could well be worthy of becoming my signature scent.

I am a total sucker for caramel and I get no caramel from Prada Candy whatsoever. All I get is mustiness and a weird synthetic plastic scent. I would also like to echo the “Barbie doll’s head” description. This is my exact same experience with Candy l’eau as well. Prada Candy is not for me at all although in theory it should because I like all the notes listed. Apparently too much benzoin can ruin a fragrance for me. Glad I tested before buying.

The sillage and lasting power on this is extremely weak; it lasts *maybe* 30 minutes, so I had to buy a rollerball to carry around with me. I adore this scent, I’m just really lazy and prefer a one-and-done spritz to last the day. This smells strongly of caramel and sugar all-around, cotton candy perhaps? There is something musky hiding underneath all the sweet, making this perfume surprisingly complex. I just wish it would last longer.

Very subtle soft caramel, sensual and cozy.
One can wear any time of the day, although its effect will be enhanced when wearing at night.

I love Prada Candy. I tend to wear it for work because it is light enough to not bother the noses around me and pretty enough to be asked what I am wearing. On my skin it is more of a powder and caramel mix. On my clothes the vanilla and caramel are predominately what you smell. Scent lasts all day on my skin. I purchased a sampler of this to se
