I received a sample of this and the Vetiver from Bergdorf Goodman. I believe that outside of a few select Ralph Lauren boutiques, BG is the exclusive vendor in the US.
It is immediately evident that White Lily is a Harry Fremont fragrance, particularly in the style of Ralph Lauren Romance and Estee Lauder Modern Muse. It opens a little loud and brash – actually reminds me a bit of a late 80’s white floral – then after about 30 minutes, settles down to a lily with a hint of sweetness.
I don’t get too much warmth from the vanilla, and for the most part, White Lily stays very crisp and “white.” Sillage is moderate, and longevity is a out 4 hours or so.
A pleasant fragrance, but not full bottle worthy for me. I would be interested to test some of the other scents from this Collection line (Rose and Amber, specifically), and I’ll keep the sample I received for work/business occasions.
