Description

Pomme d’Or is a foamy aromatic-fruity fragrance providing sparks of fresh drinks and is as strong and exciting as fireworks. Its composition will thrill fans of citruses, since it contains citrusy accords of bergamot and lime in top notes; juniper berries and lotus flower in a heart, and cedar and oak moss in a base. Pomme d’Or was launched in 2008.

    This is already seen !!
Another citrus dusted with an envelope, like those powdered juices that mix with water, nor citrus, nor berries, nor moss, nor lotus, well, it carries musk, that does not say so.
In fact I give my two-year-old niece dihydromyrcenol (artificial citrus) and galaxolide (artificial musk) and she does this same mixture for 1 euro 100ml and you have a divine fragrance.
That they make us swallow a fragrance like this: baratera, simplona, supermarket, with zero art, by a great niche (that there are) of a hundred and peak euros seems to me a mamarrachada and a big tease of hair.

    153) the treasure of the urinal
Another mediocre Evody creation. There is a similarity with the Eau d’Hadrien but the quality of contents in less. Perfume collapses quickly on its base of cedar and gives the impression of a child coming out of the toilet after perfumes himself with the deodoriser. This is annoying especially for the nose who dared create that.

4th sample I am trying and this is the very worst of the range for me. I am not a fan of simple and linear citrus smells to start with, but all I get here is ‘toilet duck’: they might as well sell it in a yellow plastic duck packaging.
Having said that, perhaps you get a better end result by topping this on one of the most gourmand and sweet contenders of this brand.
For me, it’s a “no” and “I’m out!” (said like Debra Meaden)

Pale copy of Great Goutal’s Eau d’Hadrien. Bad done.

This was a blind buy for me from Space.NK. This is a woody-lemony fragrance well suited to be unisex, if not leaning more in the men’s range. The cedar makes this so. Even though it is listed as a basenote it can be ascertained directly at the beginning that it is pushing for dominance.
The combination of juniper berries and the bergamot gives a rich sharpness oveshadowing anything the lotus is trying to accomplish. If anything it allows the juniper to not become too aggressive.
Overall a well tied together scent that doesn’t overwhelm even if oversprayed (oops, did I do that). That being said I would love my closets to smell like a citrusy cedar wonderland.
I think if this one had a flanker a sweet note could be added, like a sugar ingredient, perhaps starfruit.
P.S. But then again, maybe not. As it dries down there is a semi-sweetness that is not cloying or too feminine. Fear not, men. It will not test your masculinity.

I find that this flavor(perfume) is a success as representing of the grapefruit!
Indeed I feel the grapefruit which we peel, the white aromatic skin and the spattered of this citrus fruit when we divide him(it) into district in the hand. When we eat one pomelos, we remove(untie) the skin bitter to eat only the fruit and indeed here is the second olfactive memory(souvenir) which me reminder(abseiling) present fruits in this very well made flavor(perfume)!
He(It) is given feminin but I find him(it) portable by a man with no problem at all (for whom carry(wear) héspéridés) thus unisex according to me!

This is a tricky one to describe..It smells like a very expensive Christmas room spray, or perhaps a spiced apple candle. I am surprised apple and cinnamon are not listed as notes here, nor is the orange peel. I could definitely make them out. Overall it’s a very pleasant spicy- fruity smell, but not exceptional enough to be worth the price tag. And the room spray similarity is not doing it a favour..
