Platinum Rush was launched in 2018. The nose behind this fragrance is Frank Voelkl.

So pretty and easy to wear, especially in spring and summer. Platinum Rush is a fresh magnolia and fruit scent that smells sparkly. Effervescent, clean, and fizzy, if that makes any sense. It has a light “white fruit” smell, a combination of white flowers (magnolia and LOTV), white musk, and apple/mango/pear. Thankfully the pear is not too strong. On me there is a LOT of magnolia, which makes this a winner.
Of course the bottle is adorable. Bottles are not that important to me, but I do love the bottle. I can’t decide which of the Rush line I like best since they are all extremely well done.
Longevity is about 4 hours and projection is moderate. Just a nice fresh magnolia scent. It does remind me of Giulietta by Tocca because of the apple, but that one is more subtle.

Again, the bottle is gorgeous. The pear, apple make a very present appearance and make it seem clean and adult. It’s a bit of a copy of Selena Gomez’s “Vivamore”. Again my frustration with Paris’ perfumes, nothing is unique with her. Always a copy of another celeb perfume, or a major “popular” brand. This is a bit more unique with the pear being less heavy and the apple mixture in with a floral undertone, “Vivamore” can be a tad bit heavy on the “cleaner” aspect and make your head hurt. But this also made me sick/get a migraine. I won’t be keeping this one either.

Okay this is probably my favorite of Paris Hilton’s (that I’ve smelled/reviewed). I definitely smell the pear, apple, and mango…it’s like fruity yet grown up I think? Very fresh and in my opinion worth the price. I’d rate this an 8/10.

Crispy big red apple and sweet mango are what I got from the first 15 minutes, and a soft pear. It then dried down to musky magnolia sweetness. It is definitely less sweet than Gold Rush, maybe because of the “water note” in here??? I can’t say that I detected the “green accord” and patchouli. Gold Rush is also creamy while Platinum Rush is not. Its sillage and longevity are also softer and shorter than Gold Rush, but not by much.
Overall, Platinum Rush is still a very likable and lovely fruity fragrance for sure, especially if you like red apple and magnolia. I still consider it a successful blind buy, but personally would not repurchase, as I prefer the scents of Gold Rush, even though they are different fragrances. I think that Gold Rush is just a bit more special and unique, but I have no complaint about Platinum Rush whatsoever. I don’t detect anything artificial, or cloying, or synthetic out of this whole Rush line at all. I also like the packaging of this one a lot, well made bottle with shiny silver glitters that don’t transfer on my hands. I enjoy Platinum Rush for what it is right now and am very happy with this collection so far.
I sprayed Platinum Rush first and layered it with Juicy Couture Oui EDP on top and was super happy with the result. They complimented each other NICELY on my skin and became an unique summery blend.

Just purchased this an hour ago! Should be at my door step in about 5 days! Will write a detailed review after my first wear! Cant wait! Paris literally never disappoints, especially when it comes to her fragrance line!

This is a lovely scent. The pear for me is super prominent. There is a slight cashmere finish, which just gives it that bit of sophistication to the fruitiness.
With the dry down it is very similar to the Pitbull Woman-white bottle. Though the Pitbull is a little heavier with the woodsy tone, and is a bit stronger of an entire composition on my skin. But sometimes that can be a bit much on a 90 degree day or a night where I want to be less loud and more elegant. In those cases, the Platinum would be a better option.

It took fragrantica long enough to add this to their data base lol. But I’m so pleased with the composition of this fragrance. Upon the first spray i can detect the apple and then some floral notes and it dries down to this nice soft musky scent which must be the cashmere musk.
I received this fragrance about a week or so prior to it being released because there was a few listings on eBay, which i didnt know at the time was a stolen bottle from where ever it was being stored, until i posted the bottle on Instagram and was contacted by someone from Paris’s team inquiring where i got it from since it wasn’t officially out yet. We conversated but there were no hard feelings and i purchased another from Perfumania when it came officially not out of guilt( maybe just a little lol), but i wanted a brand new factory sealed bottle because the fragrance is just that great.
Overall, the scent has moderate longevity and silage. I get about a good 5 hours on my skin. I’ll rate this fragrance a 9/10 only because Gold Rush is my first favorite out of this line.
