oh my. oh my my my. This is… a mouth watering juicy herbal pine forest! succulent, damp, rich… oh so heavenly…. this is 5 minutes into application. Juicy woods if you can believe that. It’s… magical… transporative. Lush, with a touch of greenness from the violet leaf. to my nose vanilla, oak moss, karo karunde, rose, honey, strawberry and artemesia are most prevalent. the angelica adds a bit of green muskiness, and the fir anchors this scent. Strangely and wonderfully this scent does not get powdery (thank goodness) It does tend to dry down a bit ‘pouporiish’. however, good poupourriis are made of essential oils. Personally, Im in love. its captivating. Must try more!
I… I think I’m going to cry, and I have no idea why… this scent stirs up memories in me from a long long time ago. its.. strawberries and herbs being picked and set in my grandfathers barn. they live up in Northern MN, with fir trees all around…making jam out there… the sage and flowers from their greenhouse… Juicy woods and heated damp florals… my grandfather has passed on now though. FB is a must have.
Edit: i tried this again after many months to make sure I still loved it. Yup. still a love. an absolutely masterfully blended perfume. the most underrated natural perfume house in my opinion. *crossing my fingers* to get a whole bottle for my birthday!
