This is an eccentric fragrance that doesn’t dull on drydown! It’s a lemon candy with no sugar…a tart citrus floral that develops little on drydown. This is all top and middle accords: I get no depth from this guy, so it stays very clean on drydown, but is not soapy. There may be florals in here somewhere, but I smell neither peony or rose, but rather an aldehyde twang of lemon, lime, and maybe a smack of tangerine.
This would be a perfect fragrance for those who like citrus, clean scents, with a subtle soapy touch and no sweetness. Its complexity is minimal, and it doesn’t sparkle as much as it shines like chrome. I would even venture to say this is beachy and oceanic, perfect for a rainy windswept walk on the beach when the sun goes for the day, or a day sailing in the cool.
Not an instant favourite, but an intriguing scent begging to be layered with some bergamot perhaps. This wears pretty close to the skin. Longevity seems pretty good.

I was very excited about this perfume as I love peonies and have had trouble tracking down good peony scent…so I bought this.
Well it opens very citrusy, almost like lemon sherbet, can’t smell any peony at the point. Then when citrus calms down I get some floral scent, not sure it represents peony sufficiently as the peonies I have smelt were nothing like that at all. The drydown is like old fashioned boiled lemon sherbet/rose sweets so kind of disappointing I think.
I purchased this as a blind buy and have I smelt it before I don’t think I would have bothered especially bearing in mind how much it cost.
Overall, it is a pleasant summery scent but not worth the money, also the bottle does not have a lid so if you want to put it in your bag you risk spraying the inside of your bag and wasting half the bottle.
