I have ordered Rush of Unicorns, from the online shop. Shipped within 5 days and expected middle of next week. The service so far has been great. Presumably system is working much better than earlier this year?

Warning. 4weeks ago I ordered a few bottles from this company and as yet received nothing. I have contacted them on 4 occasions – no reply. I have opened up a claim with paypal – nothing back from them. I am literally being forced to now go to the address of the owner Damian Stammers and take back the money this man has stolen from me.
Please be aware that you deal with this villainous company at your own risk!

Best pineapple fragrance in the fragrance game.

Aventus for fraction of it’s price. Compliment magnet. Performance is also okay.

I got this recently. Not worth the price. It is a little bit weaker than the Intense, but not much. The performance is acceptable for this one (I get 5-6 hours with moderate sillage and projection). However, this is not cheap. And if you put everything together (scent/performance/price) you will understand it’s not worth it. It seems like what this company wanted to do was to capitalize on the Aventus market; they know that Aventus is the king and a lot of people want it but may be not willing to pay that price for it. Also they realized the market has some pretty solid cheaper aventus clones; so what they wanted to do was to come up with a product that was a little better than the cheaper clones and charge a higher price for it. It’s an excellent business plan. Did they succeed in doing that? Absolutely not.
The quality of this juice is 10-20% better than the cheaper clones. Is it worth this price? Absolutely not.
If you want Aventus just save and get the real deal, or if you do not want to pay much get the cheaper clones. This is an absolute waste of money.
The correct price for this juice is 50% of what Pineapple Vintage is asking. Once it reaches that price you will get your money’s worth.
By the way, this does not compare to Aventus in terms of quality. Anyone who says this is close to Aventus is unable to distinguish the notes. But people around you do notice a higher vs a lower quality cologne. This is a cheap imitation. Don’t waste yoir money and buy the real deal.

    Their customer service is horrible.
Therefore their fragrance is just okay.

Enjoy the scent. Not aventus but a nice alternative. Great complements. Terrible customer service. 2nd time I had a problem with them and their response was lacking. Bought pineapple vintage and noir. Both bottles had loose sprayers which spilled within the box. They stated to return the items and they will refund shipping ans send new bottles. Apparently, they only refunded the shipping for my order but not sending it back to them(which cost double $$ with tracking). I ordered again for the intense versions since I enjoyed the originals. Unfortunately, the noir intense has a component that makes me sick when I smell it. Wanted to return and perhaps swap for the vintage intense(Would even take a restocking fee). They stated, in a nutshell, i should have gotten the samples first and all sales final.
    Never again.

I think they have given well marketing to the tube influencers, but IMO lucky to get any samples…
I posted this on the pineapple intense; but since I ordered a set of samples -including might as well repost here:-

Still waiting for samples. I read somewhere that they are based in the UK and I am in the UK but website still charges in USD. Not received any dispatch/processing or posting information.
    **UPDATE 01-10-17**
I tried the support email -no response.
Over a month since order, no product no response; sent another email via paypal; no response; raised the issue with paypal and got a refund.

first, i do not trust this parfums vintage company and its creators. upon ordering my samples, i receive them only to find they are half full! parfums vintage purposely sends out atomizer samples that can hold about 4ml but only 2 ml of sample is there. this is deceiving to the customer, and also, the actual ml amount of fragrance is never disclosed. it is an estimate 2ml sample in an atomizer that is much bigger
lets start with PINEAPPLE VINTAGE REGULAR. opening is pineapple and only it. impressive scent!! this “regular” version is like the pineapple heavy batches of aventus aka aventus today or.
words to describe: sweet, ripe, tart, full pineapples. for teh 1st hour, it is highly like aventus. i was impressed with how it smelled at opening, so much like aventus!! aventus still has more depth but this is about 85% alike. maybe 90%. very light smoke. after 1st hour and for next few hours, it dies down to pineapple skin scent, and it is more linear than aventus, which is why 15% “lesser”. maybe aventus “lite”
sillage is low to medium, longevity is 4-6 hours.
    rating: 7.5/10

Just as a reminder to folks who say “enough with the Aventus comparisons”. …this cologne was PURPOSELY DESIGNED to mirror Aventus. It’s meant to be a less costly option, but it’s very existence is TO BE compared to it.

I like the Noir version better than this one. But this is still good. Unfortunately… not good enough to replace Aventus. I wish it was. But it’s not.

I’m not going to compare it to Aventus. We get it, enough already.
It opens with a smokey pineapple that slowly turns fruity( I mean other than pineapple). It’s a fresh mix, quite clean and soft.
Sillage seems to be medium but quickly turns into a skin scent, which in this case is good.
The fruitiness surprisingly last a while always with light Woody/smokey notes.
Other similar fragrances (and affordable) are Fresco and Club de la nuit Intense.

I’ve been waiting ages for Pineapple Vintage to be added to Fragrantica!
This, the first offering from Parfums Vintage, smells exactly like Creed’s Aventus (as is intended). However, unfortunately, on my skin it has is very weak in terms of projection; a skin scent almost immediately, and suffers from poor longevity on the skin. It does however stick around on fabric. Aventus meanwhile has top tier projection, and lasts a very long time. Smells lovely, just doesn’t last.

    (Jun 2017)
This opens great, much better than even Aventus, with a delicious pineapple treat which even lasts through the middle, but ultimately dries down to just a good scent. It’s lacking the smokiness and spice of Aventus, even Pineapple Vintage Noir has almost no smoky spice.
I can confirm (from a reviewer below) that the samples from this house are all only filled very slightly more than half way, and it’s not due to displacement from the atomizer.
These seem to have good quality ingredients, and the scents are different enough from Aventus that they can stand on their own. They are NOT, however, different from each other. Intense, Noir, and Classic are all so similar, that they might as well be the same. There’s an incredibly slight smokiness increase in noir, but almost imperceptible. They’re all more clean, fruity, pineapple summer day scents than Aventus (which is more versatile). You likely won’t be wearing Pineapple Vintage on a rainy day, or into the Fall or winter.
    Overall:
    Scent – 9.0
    Sillage – 8.0
Longevity – 7.5 (better than Aventus)
Versatility – 6.5 (worse than Aventus)
    Standalone Frag – 8.5
Aventus Clone – 6.5 (for reference, I’d give CDNIM an 8 here)
    —————————————————————————————-
UPDATE: Received another set of samples unexpectedly today. Much closer to full. Didn’t even complain about the first ones, so perhaps they’re responding to general feedback. I’m impressed!

its good but its far from aventus good. no need to compare them really.
the clones have been done to death and they never get the exact copy down. if you love aventus, then just buy it, if not then give this a try.

Finally Pineapple vintage is added to the Fragrantica database! This is a mouth watering fragrance from start to finish. If you smell it too close to your arm, it may be a little bit too strong but keeping a slight distance or from the air, it is a gorgeous scent. I got an unsolicited compliment from a very attractive bar girl too which is always a bonus. In regards to Aventus comparisons, i don’t find it to be massively similar but rather, the same genre going down a different path so it would be more than acceptable to own both. Definitely a worthy bottle to have in your collection.

Of a few hundred fragrances I’ve bought and kept in my collection approximately 1/3rd get a 9 or 10 rating from me for scent as Parfums Vintage Pineapple Vintage does. It’s a 9/10. You can see the notes above. It is a lovely and well blended composition that insists on comparison with a pineapple-y version of Aventus (of which I’ve owned two batches myself). As such I’d even go so far as to say it is Aventus’ equal. That said, to love this you must adore pineapple because that accord (I won’t say note in this case) is not just front and center in the opening but ever-present in the heart as well. I don’t want to call this a clone, but, if you must, it is undoubtedly better than anything available before it was introduced along with its “Noir” version including any of the plastic scents in the gaudy bottles from the Middle-East.
The performance couldn’t be much better though this could be cloying if one over sprays. Longevity is above average (8/10) and projection/sillage are well above average (9/10).
Best for Winter days, Spring, Summer nights, and Fall for almost every occasion as long as one is not crazy on the trigger. 8/10 versatility. Speaking of triggers, the sprayer works quite well though there may have been some leaky ones upon introduction which was apparently addressed. The understated bottle and box speak classic and modern classy, not of stodgy nor distracting style, doing more with less. From the cream and milk-paint green hues and metallic lettering of the box with its historic homage artwork, to the shapely (pineapple?) heavy glass bottle with its wooden top I give the presentation a conservative 7/10.
The latest prices are fair in my opinion, relatively speaking, and Parfums Vintage customer service is fine. As they are pretty clearly a “small business” let’s identify Parfums Vintage as the independent niche house it must be. Maybe a lot of fragheads, who subconsciously defend established houses, can take new inspiration now. In fact I have noticed an unusual bias against Parfums Vintage by people who pretty clearly have an emotional as well as apparently too-substantial-for-them-not-to-be-hurt-and-embarrassed financial investment in a bottle of Aventus. I’ve even seen this disdain in those who only own a cheap (and inexpensive) low-quality knock-off in a silver plastic or black glass bottle that have never so much as smelled no less sampled Vintage Pineapple, and that is even odder still. Both are clearly defensive reactions I liken to you following your favorite sports team, rationally chosen by where you happen to live, on the back page of the newspaper. And then when you read your team is losing to their rival you start cursing the other team. Well Creed Aventus, actually, I suspect you are losing piece by piece and the Emperor will eventually have no (insultingly-expensive) clothes.
Finally, this was the most compliment-garnering fragrance of all of mine, combined, literally from the first morning I started wearing it before I even sat down at work. In fact it inspired colleagues to start wearing fragrances! There are variations on a theme with Vintage Pineapple “original” let’s call it, and in other releases by Parfums Vintage but this particular fragrance earned an “A.”

    GREAT stuff here!!
I genuinely love what this fragrance is attempting to do—and it does it quite well. What that is, is to duplicate Aventus, and attempt to save you some money while the quality is not “skimped”.
Personally, i love the packaging quite a bit. Funny thing is, i had this very same idea but like many fragrance enthusiasts, no real way for me to bring my idea to fruition. (I was gona call mine “Pineapple Vetyver” and was going to have a sort of 1950s produce theme). So, kudos to these guys.
Onto the scent: VERY Aventus-y through and through, BUT, for me, the pineapple note in this is less sharp. I get the smell of canned, bruised or slightly spoiled pineapple, rather than the sharp tart note of the “real deal”. It’s still not unpleasant, but i personally prefer the real thing, even though this stuff really does hit its mark.
I would easily give this 8.5 out of 10, that’s just my personal take. It’s definitely a solid B+ student, but i still feel like Armaf CDNIM is a slightly better clone, but this one is of better quality and i would say performs better than CDNIM. Please try it!
