aaronwayne7 You really serious when you say there is only one fragrance that smells exactly like Aventus and that’s Armaf? Are you really serious? Aventus does not open with a blast of Lemon…. no way, not today nor yesterday….. If they they they smell exactly the same then my friend you’re nose needs some help.

Hey @Aaronwayne7 I was looking at your BRAND NEW profile not too much there! Your review on August 1 of Only the Brave you said you have 200 fragrances and now 3 weeks later with your review of King Intense you say you have 500 fragrances Mmmm something not adding up. I’m still entitled to my opinion I got my bottle of King Intense before Parfums Vintage even started to ship them from a Company that as a Partnership with Parfums Vintage and King Intense on my skin smells very nice but is weak.

C’mon how many of you actually own this fragrance???
You know how I can tell most of you don’t…
Because anyone that says this fragrance isn’t a beast for performance is just flat out lying.
I sprayed this stuff on my after a shower and I had to do stage shows later that night and I heard from girls in the crowd that I smelt so good which that alone isn’t enough but when I finished my show and went back to the hotel I showered and went to bed.
The NEXT DAY I showered again and had my morning coffee with my manager and he said “I’ve never seen you wear the same fragrance 2 days in a row (cause I have over 500 different fragrances) and I’m like what bro I didn’t spray any fragrance yet today and he’s like “wtf are you sure dude cause I can still smell the stuff you were wearing last night at the show” and I thought oh ok maybe it’s on my clothes still and that’s what he’s smelling but nope I forgot that my managers assistant actually grabbed my clothes from the show early that morning to get them dry cleaned so I smelled my arms and even thru the soap smell I could still smell the pineapple.
And guys this smells nothing like Aventus neither does pineapple Vintage it blows my mind that anyone thinks that.
There’s only ONE fragrance that smells EXACTLY like Aventus and that’s Club De Nuit Intense by Armaf.
No joke I had atleast 5 women tell me that this King Intense smells WAY better than Aventus and I swear hypebeasts in the fragrance community are just full of it 90% of the time cause I don’t see any resemblance from the Pineapple Vintage line up to Aventus they smell nothing a like other than the pineapple but even that doesn’t smell the same.
You gotta get people that have nothing to do with fragrances and ask them that way it’s an in-bias feedback.
Check out my IG cause I am going to actually post some stuff about the 2 cause this BS has to stop about this smells like that like c’mon.
Check that out Instagram.com/DamenGater and I will never BS you guys.

Smells nice, but I get after shave performance with this one low projection like also X-batch when you try the sample it seems pretty potent and then you get the full bottle and the performance is not the same (wink, wink) must be my skin. Dissapointed.

I have this and PVI. They smell the same PVI is just a little more bright and sweeter. They last around the same. I sprayed on my arm Monday night. Tuesday morning I could still smell it. I don’t see why people are downing it. It’s actually a redundant buy to have this and PVI so it’s obviously good. I’m holding mine until people realize they missed out then the price will go up on it lol.

Alright, I have been a member for a long time. I have NEVER bought into the hype of Aventus clones. Aventus happens to be my obsession by the way….
I have been an Aventus fan since 2011 so I am very familiar with “vintage” batches as well as modern; In fact, I have owned probably more than 20 batches collectively over the years.
    Anyways, onto the review……
This stuff is good. It starts off with a bright juicy pineapple with a slight hint of funkiness as I found in PVI. I HATED PVI….it gagged me a couple of times…I swear PVI has a rotten garbage note in there somewhere; However, King Intense gets past that tiny funkiness right away. It then starts mellowing into an aromatic, pineapple woody fragrance, with a slight birch note.
This stuff DOES indeed remind me of Aventus…but don’t take that too seriously. I do think its closer to Aventus than CDNI and all of the others, but its not nearly exact.
I would honestly say this has around 15-20% of Aventus DNA. If you’re familiar with Aventus batches at all, this is closest to the 2015 batches….woody, juicy, dirty, but so good!
Aventus, to me, is a 10/10. King Intense, to me, is an 8/10. The biggest difference being quality.
King Intense smells great, but its like Aventus’ little, immature step brother. I did in-fact buy a bottle as I do enjoy the slight differences, and truly do believe it smells good enough to have in the rotation.
    OVERALL:
    Scent – 8/10
    Quality – 6/10
    Performance – 8/10
    Worth trying!

Hmmm 3 rave reviews from brand new Fragrantica accounts, all with 2 perfumes or less in their wardrobes. I’m hearing this stuff is worse than PVI, so just throwing caution to the wind.

I am sorry to be a downer, but this does not work for me
I get a mellow aventus, similar to the mid of a 2016 batch, mostly fruity, but a little smoke. It lasts like that for about 30 ,minutes, before the fragrance has a dark vanilla show it’s face. This vanilla becomes the strongest aspect of the fragrance and is nice, but not great smelling.
The real problem comes from vanilla not being blended or naturally not working with pineapple and smoke in for my nose.
I wish there was some patchouli or vetiver too make this fragrance more balanced.
I find the title is misleading in the idea of a king and leading people to think of aventus.

Confirmed shots fired. This is going for the vintage and It does it way more beautifully than anything else I’ve experienced so far. Don’t let the woods coming after 15mins trick you into believing that this is drying down quickly – there is a lot going on with the bergamot for 3 hours and it has a perfect fruity – woody balance. I actually enjoy it and I find myself returning to the application area to get a throwback to my 2013 Aventus which I ran out of last year. I’ll be using King Intense as a daily driver for work as it lasts a good 8 – 9 hrs and projection is a decent 2 feet for the first 3 hours and excellent sillage as it does receive enquiries from those in the vicinity “are you wearing Creed”. It’s tempting to say yes!

I’ve owned Aventus since 2011 and those were the best years of this iconic fragrance.
Since then I’ve had to buy samples of batches due to the batch variations. I don’t like many of the new batches as they have lost their woody musky complex. I haven’t tried any Parfums Vintage fragrances but I keep seeing the name and the quality appears to be high looking at the online groups. Just receive a sample in the mail and I’ve been testing for a few days. All I can say is that I am amazed. Amazed at the beautiful pineapple opening and how natural it is. I can’t detect synthetic notes as it’s such a bright syrupy pineapple with some blackcurrant making it juicy. The woods and the birch come in very quickly and they are coming from the Bergamot and and patchouli. It’s not drying down to the base as it’s projecting a good arms length and this is the older accord of the woody complex that I miss. I’m amazed that a company has managed to produce something as good as this considering the $79 price/ It’s not just great value, it’s actually the vintage Aventus accord that I miss so dearly. I’ll be stocking up on this as it’s the fruity complex woody accord that I fell in love with Aventus 7 years ago. I get 9 hours longevity and projection is a decent arms length for 4 hours and then it’s closer to the skin but still seems to get noticed from those around. Such a great find!

I purchased a sample on Parfums Vintage website parfumsvintage.com
This is close to the older batches of Aventus. In Pineapple Vintage Intense I loved the fruity long lasting pineapple note because it was natural and fruity. The Pineapple seemed to go on forever and I loved the photorealistic fruity accord. King Intense opens with this same natural lively pineapple but the the distinctive woods of the 2015 batches of Aventus is also much more present with the bergamot/ pineapple. There appears to be much more going on in the top notes than listed here and I get subtle whiffs of peppers from the juniper berries but I also get uplifting spicy aromatic/ phenolic notes intermingled with the woods and Pineapple/ Bergamot. I find it to be woody/ fruity – citrus with a touch of oakmoss and the perfect amount of birch as I don’t like strong smokey fragrances like their Beyond Noir. This is very balanced. I’ll be ordering a bottle because 50ml of Aventus is now $240 even on online stockists and the modern batches of Aventus are not the same. The batch variations was always an issue with Aventus but now it is too Justin Beiber in it’s attempt to be fruity/ popular and it lacks the vintage sophistication.
