A very good dupe of Loulou and I would risk to say that this one is actually superior to the reformulation that ruined the original. Mostly made with natural ingredients, it’s deep and reminds the first version of Loulou. Sweet praline-like (I believe it’s because of the plum) to the point of causing diabetes, but somehow not bad, strong scent of vanilla, balmy star anise (the original uses common anise). The smokey incense is not present at all, but the balmy benzoin reminds of it so it’s not discharacterized. You can feel all the notes separately, unlike the new reformulated version of Loulou, that was reduced to a flat amorphous mass whose only noticeable notes are praline and incense and reeks of synthetic stuff. A little lighter for the lack of the dark smoke.

Paris Elysees perfumes are very commonly found in Brazil and they are mostly obvious dupes of popular designer fragrances. This one was given to me as a surprise bonus in a swap and it is supposed to be a dupe for Loulou, by Cacharel. I get a very intense tuberose smell, which reminds me of bubble gum at times, and incense. This projects and lasts nicely, despite being a cheapie.
