My nose does not get any florals from this. To me it smells like the faintest hint of a white musk, faintest rain-wet (sandal?)wood, and some ozone. It’s a dry (not sweet at all) fresh smell. I can see how other reviews say it smells clean, but it’s not a soapy clean to me. I have gotten compliments that I smell pleasant, but people don’t identify it as “perfume. Unisex, in my opinion.

I have worn this for 6 years and have received so many compliments. It used to be my signature scent and I could never get enough of it’s musky, warm, subtly sweet fragrance. However, in around 2016, the the bottle I purchased was so very weak smelling that I was using more and more to create the same effect. I’ve since switched to Persian Star and, while it’s a slight bump up in its concentration of fragrance (I can at least smell the stuff), it’s not enough to get noticed. I do wish it were stronger, and hope that Kuumba Made listens to feedback enough to reconsider the formulation of their absolute best fragrance. In the meantime, I’m going to try to find a stronger replacement. Looking at Nemat’s Amber Oil, as recommended, as well as an Arabic white musk.

As others have said, this is a very clean-smelling floral, light and citrusy. This is another great fragrance for everyday wear–it’s subtle but long-lasting. I prefer the Egyptian Musk but sometimes I’ll switch it up and wear Persian Garden, as they’re both lovely!

Update for Persian Star: Listed as a stronger version on Persian Garden, it is, but barely. If Persian Garden scent is 0, Persian Star is a 0+. I don’t get it. There’s barely anything there and even listing this as a skin scent is pushing it. Don’t waste your money.

I seriously want to love this but it’s hard when you can only smell it’s beauty every once in a while. There is almost 0 scent to this and you can only get a passing whiff every now and again. I just ordered Persian Star, so I am hoping it gives off at least 25% of what it should.

I am wearing the stronger version “Persian Star” as lovely as the scent is, it is verrrry faint on my skin I can’t believe I’m wearing the more intense version. This slightly reminds me of Auric Blends Love but I think I much prefer that one. I’ll give this another go at some point to see if I have a different experience.

One of my favorite perfumes of all time. So clean. At first, after receiving samples of their most popular scents, I honestly passed up Persian Garden because it smelled like NOTHING to me compared to all the other strong amber, vanilla and floral scents that they carry. It was so light that I honestly was confused at the hype of this perfume. However, days passed and I reached for the sample again and I was shocked putting it on my skin. It is like nothing I have in my collection. It’s nostalgic and unisex. I think it has elements to it that remind me of my grandfather’s cologne/scent but not in a bad way at all. I can’t think of any other perfume that smells quite like this. Its a delicate, light, clean musk smell with some floraly-sweetness. I’m awful at describing perfumes but please try this at Whole Foods and don’t be taken back by its delicateness. On the skin, I get whiffs of it throughout the day and am brought so much comfort and confidence. It’s not a perfume that will grab everyone’s attention when you walk into a room, but anyone close to you will probably fall in love with your scent because it smells so natural and just CLEAN. I feel like if you enjoy popular scents like Chloe that give you that clean laundry type smell you will like this (however its a lot lighter than Chloe and way more unique) Ah! I need to buy big bottles of this. Love this company and all their other scents as well. This one and Water Goddess are my favorite from Kuumba. However, I honestly wish Persian Garden was called Water Goddess because its more watery than Water Goddess is, actually. Try Water Goddess as well for a musky, sweet, sandalwood, powdery smell. Yum!

I agree with previous reviewers: this is clean, not garden-like. I get pale white musk without any of the usual soapy elements. I don’t get garden or floral at all. It’s a very skin close skin scent, light and almost not there, but in a very nice way. It’s a bit like using no perfume at all, but just smelling clean and warm from the shower. I love it. Great price too

For those who love this, there’s now a stronger version called ‘Persian Star’. Honestly it’s only slightly stronger but it’s something! I also recommend ‘Love’ by Auric Blends, which is extremely similar (perhaps slightly greener) and has considerably better sillage.
There’s something so magical about this type of perfume, so it’s worth seeking out the version that works best for you.

I love this. But it doesn’t last long on my skin ..so sad.

This is the only scent I go back to. I constantly get complements from friends and strangers. I find I can’t smell it shortly after application, but others notice it for hours, sometimes days after. It’s such a classic non perfumy smell. Clean and feminine with out being cloying. I like to think that my personal style as classic with a touch of novelty. Even a little androgynous, but femine. Boarderline sexy 😉 .. just a touch. This suits me perfectly. Only issue is I go through it so fast ! :/

Persian Garden? Are you sure that’s the right name? This smells like something from the Clean line to my nose. Clean Sheets would have been a more descriptive name of this scent.
It’s a slightly green and floral white musk. It basically smells like crisp, white, clean sheets that hangs outside in a sunny garden to dry.
I think many people would like this. It’s clean, simple, pleasant, soft and uncomplicated. Very natural smelling with a soft sensual vibe. I think it’s okay, but it’s never going to be a favourite of mine (I’ve actually already decided to give my bottle away). I just don’t enjoy that clean laundry type of smell. Not as a perfume anyway.
Sillage is soft, this scent sits very close to the skin. Longevity is medium. I get about 4-6 hours out of this.

Of all the perfumes I have (ranging from expensive niche brands to mainstream houses), this is the one I get the most complimented on. It’s light and airy but is quite tenacious on the skin. A lovely floral musk with a green twist, perfect for spring and even the humid summer months.

I have a soft spot for 70s perfumes and this smells like a 70s perfume. When I first smelt this, I was so excited, it was like meeting an old friend.
As a child my favourite teacher in school smelled like this and I loved the smell of her. I thought she smelled of a lovely jelly! Many years later as a teenager when my perfume fascination was just beginning, I realised that Miss Phillips had been wearing Coty Just Musk ( can’t find it on here). I wore Just musk and wild musk frequently through my teenage years. Persian musk is very reminiscent of these fragrances. It is a beautiful, light bright perfume made even lovelier to me by its ability to evoke happy memories ( and its affordability).
The oil is gorgeous too and can used as a base to many musk fragrances such as TF velvet orchid and Prada ambre.
It wears close to the skin but comes through stronger when it is warm.

I love Persian Garden, it’s really lovely. Beautiful flowers, and a very light and glorious musk. Beautiful. It is even a tiny bit spicy, and there is a woody feel too, and I love it, it makes me feel very mysterious and exotic. Very enjoyable. I mean, it does make me imagine what a Persian garden would be like, exotic and fresh, yet also deep and lush with hidden delights. Very fascinating perfume. Very lovely.

This is a beautiful scent–the best Kuumba has to offer in my opinion. Very, very subtle but perfect for extreme heat and humidity, which is exactly why I bought it. It actually blooms in the heat. Fantastic for summer

Agree with people who say this is a musk. It’s white musk actually. If this is not available White Musk by Nemat International is a good alternative. Also, very close to TerraNova’s China Musk that’s in a prettier bottle.

This is my favorite scent and my Husband absolutely loves it on me. People tell me how good I smell all the time. I’ve never received so much scent attention in my entire life. As a matter of fact, friends and family have loved it so much, they have grabbed my wrists to keep smelling it, and some have even grabbed my shoulders pulling me closer to smell it better. It’s as though those who like it, are actually attracted to it in some way. Strangers comment on it as well with the same attracted demeanor without invading my space. It seems there are people like what I just described, or the other extreme of people who cannot smell it at all. It’s very odd. My signature scent is Persian Garden combined with Byredo Gypsy Water, which smells nothing like Persian Garden in my opinion even though I’ve seen the reference several times.

Sweet, fresh, citricy, very light smell. I would add, definetely musk.

“Grounded, smooth, very light and clean with a hint of mystery. A garden of earthly delights. Popular for men and women,” from a website.

A very balanced fragrance. Fresh, yet feminine. Its scent profile is in the same family as Gypsy Water and Tocca Colette. A little spicy, woodsy, floral – with just a twist of citrus.

This is a fresh, light, delicate floral musk that has a slightly exotic feel. To me it smells like a lush floral garden after a warm spring rain. I’ ve seen this compared to Byredo Gypsy Water but haven’t tried that one so I can’t weigh in on that. I do wish i could smell it more on myself, though others seem to notice it. Layers very nicely with Egyptian musk.
