Party is my favorite of the four fragrances from Sentifique.
It’s like a relaxed gettogether of a bunch of twentysomethings who have crammed into a slightly too small studio apartment on a sunny summer evening. They’ve all rushed to this event straight from work in the city, without the opportunity to shower first. They all know each other and the atmosphere is debonair. Both conversation and drinks flow as the sun slowly starts to set and the air becomes thick of the guests’ presence.
OK, that was the imaginary part. 🙂 Now, “Party” definitely opens with aldehydes which are accompanied by a good dose of a qualified magnolia. Magnolia however isn’t the center of this perfume. A lot of cloves have been used in this one as well. I guess pimento is what my nose interprets as red pepper here.
After the balance between aldehydes, magnolia and cloves is settled, Party is a pretty linear fragrance. It’s definitely the most interesting from Sentifique so far.
