Description

Paris Hilton does not need a lot of announcement. Everything is already familiar; she is an actress, model, heiress, always followed by camera flashes. This perfume carries her name and was presented in 2005, as her first perfume. It had to follow Paris, in her extravagance and temperament. It was designed by Steve Demercado and James Krivda, who made the top notes voluptuous and seductive with apple, orange and melon. The heart is opulent, floral, sweet and pure, created of jasmine, freesia, lily, tuberose, mimose and lily of the valley. The base leaves a sweet tone of ylang-ylang, milky-powdery and intensive sandalwood, musk and oakmoss. It is available as 30, 50 and 100 ml edt.

This is my Top2 from Paris Hilton along with ‘Heiress’. I think they smell quite alike because they share peach, mimosa and ylang-ylang notes but this one smells sweeter overall.
Even though the bottle looks…cheap (as same as its price) but it has amazing quality in term of performance. It has amazing longevity and sillage. I always got many compliments when wearing this one. Everybody was like ‘I know you’re coming this way because I can smell your perfume’. lol
It’s my casual and easy to go scent. I’m not thinking hard to repurchasing it.
Don’t judge the book by its cover. 😉
    10/10

A very elegant fruity floral, like a frosty, powdery apple against soft greens and watery, white florals. Crisp, yet with a hint of warm, very clean skin musk buzzing underneath the florals.
There is definitely a freshly primped aspect to “Paris Hilton” that’s quite sophisticated and clean cut, reminding me of not a high wattage socialite in paparazzi action but the young woman resting on her personal time, simple diamond studs, terry tee, sitting on some shady back veranda surrounded by ferns, white geraniums and cut lawns.
Like the namesake herself, stealthy sophistication with a front of fun, a bit of a contradiction and not to be underestimated. “Paris Hilton” is one of my favorite anywhere scents, that also jogs an exciting feeling of being social in America during my youth for me.
There’s something in this blend that sort of mushes together the past 20 years of American culture into a scent. Given Paris’ age, I would really believe she had a hand in developing the right blend of notes to represent her American experience in her generation because the scent feels honest to her generation’s shared cultural experiences.
It feels fresh enough because it mostly references the recent past — the early 2000’s trends of powdery-sweet tuberose mixed with fruits — but there are also hints of specific things like, vinyl (late 90’s and early 2000’s kitsch style trends), apple shampoo residue, freesia and melon that will rouse something nostalgic in Millennials, who grew up during a period when these notes were popular in scents and common bath products. I would be surprised if Paris had just signed-off on this without being actively involved in actually sampling and surveying the test blends during it’s development.

If there is any perfume that perfectly captures the essence of mid-2000s Americana, then this is it.

Sweet fruits drenched in bubblegum syrup mixed with floral car air-freshener. Remember being a teenager and smelling this all around me. I’m keeping a bottle for nostalgic reasons only, although this is the least sentimental, wistful scent I can think of. Very interesting how the sense of smell works.

Very sweet, very fruity, almost sticky and syrup-like in scent, but it is pure nostalgia for me as it was one of the first perfumes my mom ever bought me 🙂

I loved heiress as a teen.
I bought this one thinking it might be good, but unfortunately, I get a watered down shampoo-y vibe. Hasn’t got the slightest fruit. To my nose I swear it smells only like shampoo, when you’re close to rinsing it out. Not for me.

  7. :

The dry down of this one smells very similar to Paris Hilton Heiress, but less “peachy” or “apricot-y”, due to the replacement of the green apple and melon. I can learn to enjoy this one but had to pass Heiress due to the overpowering peach and apricot notes.

This is another pleasant fragrance. It is very young smelling and bright. I mainly get fruity, fresh notes. There’s also quite a bit of florals in there. This smells a bit similar to Ed Hardy by Christian Audigier, but that may just be my nose, lol.

This is now a cult classic along with white diamonds and glow by jlo this was when celeb fragrances were made with better equality in my opinion. It’s instantly recognizable and iconic. You really do smell the apple and mango. One of the fist perfumes I ever bought so it will always hold a special place in my heart

    This smells delicious.
I love the combo of melon, apple, and light florals which are very happy, like mimosa and freesia, with a nice musk base and a slightly creamy soap vibe that doesn’t smell too perfumey. I needed this in my scent wardrobe, and it is a lovely no-brainer. Staying power is around 5-6 hours on me.
Not bad for an inexpensive scent that smells so beautiful and lasts most of the day. Amazing noses came up with this!
Because this sorta smells of really fruity shampoo you could get away with wearing a little and flying low under a fragrance-free workplace radar-hehe…
I also think this would appeal to all age groups- just a pretty, fruity fun freshy. I’m keeping this in my desk at work for a 3:00 perk-up. Very well-rounded!

Just a fruity fragrance, sweet, nothing special, week lasting power, like 1 hour, suitable for girls between 14 and 16 years old…

I just adore this perfume.I have worn it for years. It is a very sexy scent-for all ages and most of all it is so long lasting.Very fruity and musky.I also love the bottle design.Just purchased the new bling limited edition.I recommend this perfume to all ladies.

I know everyone loves this and they have been using it for years. Its not that I hate it, but there is something in the end note that I find to be sharp, almost peppery. I can’t figure out what that is based on the notes listed, but I am not a particular fan of this one.
I love the new Gold Rush though. Yes please!!

More floral than fruity. Oh, well…back it goes. Very similar if not identical to Gap 1969 Bright for Women.

*English is not my mother tongue; please excuse any grammar mistakes*
Absolutely delicious fragrance! I feel very sexy and confident whenever I wear it

This is my 5fth bottle, and I’m being very careful with it, only wearing it on very special occasions since it has been discontinued in the country that I live (They no longer import Paris Hilton Fragrances) and I don’t travel a lot… So I don’t know when or if I’m going to be able to have a new one.

I’ve read other opinions in here and I must say that I own Ralph by Ralph Lauren and I do not find them to be similar… maybe a liiiiiitle on the top notes but that’s it. I would never have the feeling that if I have Ralph that could replace “Paris” as some SA once suggested me “We do not have the Paris Hilton one but we can offer you this one that is very very similar” Errrr not… I was upset, hahaha they are not!

I started wearing this perfume when I was 14/15 years old. That was 10 years ago.
As one can imagine I changed a lot over this past years and also my nose is more… lets say… educated. And even though this is a not so complex, cheap celebrity fragrance, I love it so much!

Both longevity and sillage are moderate.

I was looking for a bottle of Ralph but couldn’t find it so I settled with Paris Hilton.
PH is indeed sweeter than Ralph but still nice. I think the colors speak for themselves. One is sugary pinky fruity, another one is oceanic turquoise fruity.
As someone who has allergy and sinusitis, occasionally I would find perfumes that block my nose and make my eyes dry and feel somewhat swollen. I am not sure if others ever experience this.
PH does block my nose a bit, while Ralph doesn’t.
Other perfumes that irritate my eyes are; Chanel no. 5 (big time), Chanel Jersey EDP (serious), Chanel No. 19 (mild), Jean Patou Joy (serious), Caron Pour Un Homme (mild), Lanvin Oxygene women (mild), Bvlgari Pour Femme (mild, I actually really love the scent), Bvlgari Rose Essentielle (mild).
I thought I was allergic to rose, but there are some rose fragrances that don’t irritate me. In fact, I love sniffing them all the time. They are Sisley Izia, Amouage Lyric Man, Frederic Malle Portrait of a Lady, Le Labo Rose 31, Guerlain Rosa Fizz.
If perfume age matters, I never encounter any problem with vintage Guerlains and Diors. If it was aldehydes, some are actually aldehyde-free.
Sorry for the unrelated allergy chapter.
Back to Paris Hilton, I think it is quite a well-made perfume and definitely worth the price. It changed my view as a perfume lover and collector. I used to be all about designer brands and rare stuff, but now I actually find joy and acceptance in celebrity, less expensive, not-so-attractive-looking-flacon, and mainstream fragrances.
They also changed my perspective on life.
Funny how perfumes can teach us a lesson or two, and still smelling great!
    Thank you, Paris and Ralph!

My very first perfume, one of my favourite. It feels so sexy, fruity, powdery and have a good sillage. I always get a compliment when i wear this ( it blends very well on my skin, and longlasting. Major love! )
What i dislike is now the scent is too familiar like all woman have one of this perfume in their stash, so i can smell it everywhere

  20. :

A fruity scent, smells so girly. At first I liked it very much because is a fun scent, good for going to a party. But projection and longevity are not good at all, you better take the bottle with you for touch ups. Also, about 4 months or so after this purchase the scent changed (even with good storage). Smells different now and its not pleasant, like plastic. For the price I think you could find better options, sadly I couldn’t finish the bottle.

I wore this in my teens into early 20s I owned both this and Ralph Lauren as my signature scents, yet they smelled identical, apparently. lol. I never noticed or cared. They were king and queen in my small collection with Estee Lauder Pleasures Intense as the joker coming in third. I loved them both and they bring back many memories of being young and carefree. 🙂 I always felt confident wearing either one of them.
Ralph Lauren is the stronger of the two. Ralph Lauren also seems more unisex to me between them for that reason. I keep this one in my wardrobe since you can get it for next to nothing nowadays. I don’t wear it, but will sniff it or use it as an air freshener for the memories. Mmmmmm. Happy life of partying & BS is what I smell!

When I wore it, I would joke to myself that I smelled like a baby prostitute (like the line from Mean Girls). But I liked it nonetheless, and got compliments when I wore it back in high school.

Paris I have to hand it to you, this is not bad. I was already past your perfumes meaning I had outgrown them and I haven’t worn any of your frags in such a long time.
This fragrance was in the dresser table of a friend’s teenage daughter. At first I thought this was a very unappealing and downright uninspired shoddy merchandise as far the bottle and the look of the packaging. Cheap! Looks like hairspray. Also I was already forming conclusions that this would turn into a very short lived body spray fine fragrance mist, you know, with terrible sillage.
But when no one was looking I was a bad girl and spritzed a little of this juice on my wrist. Just one spritz so on one would notice. I shook my wrist and waited for the perfume to settle a bit and oh my God.
The fragrance is so good! It’s absolutely gorgeous! First of all, wow. This is not an ordinary celebrity scent. Comes off as mature and sophisticated, green, mossy, floral, spicy, musky, woodsy. It’s not a big complex chypre (i.e. Aromatic Elixir Ivoire de Balmain Estee Lauder Aliage Bluegrass Chanel No 19 Vent Vert) but it sort of wants to go into that direction in as far as a Paris Hilton perfume goes. More along the lines of a mature floral like Paris’ own Fairy Dust, or Madonna Truth or Dare as well as Kim Kardashian. This is a white floral with all the white queens – lily of the valley, herbaceous and green-whitish, soapy, with a fleshy egg plant like tuberose, a jasmine which is more on the Alien jasmine side (dark jasmine but not animalic or indolic) and a peppery freesia. An ylang note is also there. So yes this is very flowery!
We have here a gorgeous white floral with green leaves all around. The dry down does not match with the opening. As it opens it’s all fruity with peach, melon and a citrus note, an apple note. It reminds me of a fruity hairspray or shampoo. This is totally a shampoo or hairspray for your hair type of opening, fresh and fruity, delicious, and typical of some celebrity openings. Bu it comes and goes swiftly and then turns flowery and finally the dry notes are unisex and muskier, mature, with a warm musk and some sandalwood.
Finally the piece de resistance a note of oak moss. Moss is so rare to find in today’s perfumes much less a celebrity scent. I doubt Paris had anything to do with this formula and let some chypre loving floral loving nose do this for her. This is a gorgeous green moss. Some might not like it if they are accustomed to her other fruity-florals that become boring – i.e. the Passport series Passport Paris South Beach – or her other fragrances like Just Me or especially Heiress. I compared this one to Fairy Dust because of the green notes and the white florals but it is also a bit like TEASE. If you like the white florals in TEASE check this out.
Long lasting, fragrant, solid perfume and very beautiful. This is best worn in spring and summer although it can be worn all year round. I would say that this is for day time wear and casual or at most semi formal. I spray around my neck and my hair because it really does turn into such aromatic floral beautiful hair spray scent.
    Oh my I’m in love.
    Thank you Paris Hilton.

I remember wearing this in high school along with the majority of the girls in my school. We were all walking around smelling like fresh fruit layers over cigarettes. This perfume has always had a strong undertone of cigarettes to me. For some reason it was quite intoxicating back in the day though. I recently smelled it on someone and realized why I never wear it again. I don’t think it’s a bad scent but the undertone is just very very odd.

  26. :

When I was younger I used to love this perfume. I had always thought before seeing on fragrantica that the top note was lemon as to me it’s a sharp sour lemon smell when initially sprayed. The “ozonic” element in this perfume is what I think makes me dislike it now it is another headachy celebrity generic perfume. It’s a perfume that is harsh and possibly offensive to others if worn. I would suggest for anyone to save their money.

    I like this parfume.
I can smell the apple more than the melon and peach. It´s fresh, and there´s just the right amount of fruityness.
The bottle is cute, cylender shaped, pink with black swirls. I bought the 30 ml. and it fits right into my handbag.

  28. :

    5 out of 5

To this day my favorite perfume. That mix of freshness and sour fruit is so unlike that typical overbearing sweetness that you usually associate with fruity or even floral scents which makes it unique to me and there’s something special about it which might be the “pheromones” that are supposed top be in it. It’s the only perfume I ever had that made me sniff on the empty flacon like it’s some drug. Over the years I desperately tried to get the original formula but everywhere I bought this even those supposed to be “just” a year old clearly already went bad and give off a chemical, liquorice or rice smell. Only the dry down reveals traces of the actual scent that I love. I noticed spraying it in the air reveals it best so I use it as an air freshener. If anyone knows where to get some good samples with the original scent I’d be happy to know.

Paris Hilton is a popular perfume that almost everyone has already felt on someone or has already worn it. It is a perfume that pleases many people, and especially men. I often receive compliments when I wear it. It is therefore an easy to offer gift as I never knew anyone who did not appreciate it. It is a perfect perfume for girls and young women but less for older women. I would describe it as seductive, feminine, sexy. 🙂

  31. :

This has changed. I have purchased 2 new bottles over a couple of months and they smell spicy peppery like cellery. Horrible. I used to love this but way too many old turned bottles being sold cant trust it anymore waste of money.

  32. :

    3 out of 5

I have to take back my words and admit I like her fragrances except for a few. This is really nice and earned me a few compliments. A nice everyday floral fruity that actually doesn’t smell like everything else but not so different that it is niche in any way. Give it a try. I would say if you like her other offerings you would like this.

Got this one as a gift from my aunt from Canada and I just can’t stand it. It’s horrible and too strong. It gave me a headache. I gave it away to my teenage neighbor, she loved it though.

  34. :

Paris Hilton’s first perfume, and one of her best. (I prefer Just Me). Elegant. A whispering scent of sweet, cold fruit. You can tell that a great deal of care went into creating this one. Ladylike, and destined to be a classic.

  35. :

I liked this perfume when I first got it as a gift. The smell was very playful, girly, light, and easy to wear. However, after storing it away for about a year and rediscovering it, the color had completely changed, and it smelled nothing like it had before.
I enjoy how this perfume smells when it smells like it’s supposed to. Unfortunately, my experience is that it doesn’t age very well, and changes into something unpleasant over time.

  36. :

    3 out of 5

I don’t know, but to me, this fragrance smells like raspberries and some violets (candies). I detect nothing from the pyramid here. But I like it, it’s fruity and playful. Young girls like me would most probably enjoy it 🙂

  37. :

    Edp:
I can’t belive that ylang-ylang isn’t voted to the top three notes..! It’s very intensive. Smells more like yellow flowers than fruits. Apple is stronger than melon and nectarine is very, very weak. Same amount of lily of the valley and jasmine.
Smells like the “good” scent (perfume) in hairpsray.
More shocked than impressed. I will mark it with dislike but it’s still wearable. If you’re not a fan of ylang-ylang or Paris, go buy yourself a cheaper drugstore perfume – you don’t need this.

Perhaps I’ve sampled an old tester, but I get metallic fruit, very tiny amount of fruit.
I have been told it’s a nice affordable one, but the test is horrible.
Someone has got up there that it’s similar to the aqua blue RALPH LAUREN, I used to own this and I suppose I can detect similarities, like I said I got an old tester perhaps.
Perhaps someone can assist me in explaining what Ozonic smell is…..
All I’m getting even on my jumper is like a left over warm metal smell, like you get at the bottom of an old bottle, or those super cheap copies.
    Unsure

I honestly love this fragrance …allot of perfume snobs will not agree that they like it due to the name and branding…I love Paris Hilton and like 90% of her fragrances..this is a fruity classic classy floral in such a great way any other designer brand could take this name and it would get a lot more of attention and love this is an amazing fragrance that will never lose the test of time it is simply amazing as far as a fruity floral composition goes it’s classy elegant but at the same time the Girl Next Door with of course a little Sparkle I don’t think I will ever lose this in my perfume collection

The bottle I sampled must have turned because all I am getting is imortelle and straight up insulin.

  41. :

A lot of perfumes describe themselves as being “fresh.” This is one of the only perfumes I would actually label as such. It smells cool, (“icy” as another reviewer said) but in a good way. A lot of perfumes’ top notes smell great, but then as it dries down it becomes less pleasant. This is not one of them. It’s lovely and (surprisingly) classy at every stage.
TL;DR don’t knock it till you try it.

  42. :

    3 out of 5

Laugh if you want, scoff if you must, but I love this. It’s icy. Modern/minimalistic. Perfect to wear in overcast humid weather with clean lines in blacks & greys, streamlined silhouettes. It’s well blended and long-lasting. Interestingly and somewhat embarrassingly, it draws compliments, and people ask you what it is so they can get some. It smells like the perfumers took some flowers and put them through a machine that turns ordinary things into futuristic robots. I don’t own anything else like it. I often find myself reaching for this over many more respectable perfumes in my collection, and I even like the bottle. I think I’ll put some on today …

It’s a nice smooth smell that’s perfect for a quick trip to the store. It doesn’t last long though.

I bought this scent in a pack of like four Paris Hilton perfumes back in the day. I was surprised I liked this scent enough to use it to go to work. I bought a smaller bottle and though I liked it well enough, it was not enough to make me go back and purchase a bigger bottle when it was finished. I did like more then her other scents though.

  45. :

    4 out of 5

I purchased Paris Hilton at my local drugstore for $2.25 + tax for 1.7ml.
I wouldn’t say I like it, but it was so inexpensive that I wear it to work and while exercising.
Paris opens with strong summer fruits- ripe melon and sweet crisp green apples. Within 5 min, I start smelling the white flowers. Mostly, of all the flowers in the bouquet, I detect freesia the most. Through the blooming of the middle section, the melon is still very detectable. On my skin Paris Hilton lingers in this middle melon/ white flower bouquet for nearly 4 hours. Towards the dry down, the Oakmoss really helps balance the bouquet. The final dry down of the base smells powdery, musky and definitely like ylang-ylang. Overall, smells very perfumey.
I agree with other reviewers who remark on the shampoo-like scent. Indeed it reminds me of shampoo or hotel soap from a decent hotel. Lasts for an entire work day! Eight-nine hours. I’ve never recieved compliments when wearing this, but one woman at my local gym thought she and I were using the same Suave shampoo so that pretty much confirmed my opinion of PH.
I recieved such a great bargain on this scent that I will wear it until it runs out. But PH is not my favorite fragrance. It’s not even in my top 50. It is my opinion that it’s not a special nor unique scent. I would not repurchase.

This one was my very first real perfumes which I got as a hand-me down from my sister. Also, I was wearing it when I met my husband so it holds special memories for me. It’s hard for me to give a review on it because I have smelled it so much and never associated it with any notes just memories. It smells very sweet with a little musky/spicy. Very young and sensual. I wore it to the bar a lot where my future husband frequented so that must be why I think it smells sensual. Also, it has turned bad a little so there is a bitter quality to the top notes. Just like burnt sugar like one of the other members stated. Once the top notes fades it smells just like it used to. I have a half ounce left out of the big bottle so I will be hording it for memories sake…

There is something special to this perfume. I bought it as a blind buy because a girl who liked similar fragrances to me suggested it. I also love aquatic and sweet scents. And I had just run out of my signature aquatic scent Coach by Coach. I absolutely love it. I mostly smell frozen peach and apple and ylang ylang. It’s not very musty or cloying but does have a very slight white musk undertone. I have never received so many compliments on a perfume and guys love it. Versace yellow diamond is my current summer aquatic and this one is my winter.

I’m surprised by all the negative reviews. I think this perfume is quite nice actually. So it’s somewhat generic, the bottle looks cheap, AND its by Paris Hilton. But I actually really like it. Maybe I just have an immature nose.. I like “pink” fragrances and fruity florals with aquatic and ozonic notes. It definitely has that soapy/shampoo vibe, but its also fresh, flirty, and sexy. Maybe it’s that slightly sour note and ozone, but it gives it a brightness and edge. It makes me think of a sorority girl taking a bubble bath and having a glass of champagne because she thinks shes fancy.
Well.. you get the idea. Weirdly enough, its the scent that has gotten me more “That smells good. What are you wearing?” than any other scent.

This is not one I chose out for myself, rather in a cross country move from London back to the USA, when unpacking my growing perfume collection, I experienced a sense of horror as my 2005 pre-reformulation bottle of Britney Spears “Fantasy” was no where to be seen.
Browsing ebay for a replacement bottle, and unwilling to pay the $95 (?!?) from France for a new pre-reformulation Fantasy, I luckily found a partially used bottle of Fantasy selling in a set with an also partial bottle of Curious and Paris Hilton, all for just $15.99. Seeing as I really wanted Fantasy back in my life, and also love Curious, I figured it was worth purchasing even if I wasn’t a fan of Paris Hilton (the perfume….I really don’t care what celeb endorses a scent, as long as I like the frag itself.)
I also own Dazzle, which I actually like, unfortunately Dazzle has less silliage and longevity on me than a body spray, and I literally need to inhale my own wrists to catch a whiff of the scent.
I had the opposite problem with Paris Hilton. This scent is strong on me, two sprays is enough. Unfortunately, I got the same stale, musty, hairspray-like note some of the other reviewers mentioned, mixed with the aromas of apple, melon, and peach (these notes I liked, along with the mimosa and soft florals.) However, that stale, musty scent….I had to laugh at one review’s “wet dog” comment, being a dog owner and lover myself I can see how the musk factor could smell like one. This annoyingly sour note fought determinedly with the pleasant, nice ones, like a fly sucking the sweet succulent juice out of a peach.
It really is a shame, as I actually like the tall stripy hot pink zebra bottle for its pure kitch factor alone, and it would look fun (to me that is) next to my equally candy-striped flacon of Aqualina Gold Sugar. But with all the travelling I end up doing in my life (and the time it takes to carefully wrap up each precious perfume in my collection) I just don’t want to waste it on fragrances I don’t love.
One could argue that the spray bottle went off, but the other two (Fantasy and Curious) from the same seller, and also partial bottles, were absolutely fine, thank god, and the same olfactory enjoyment I remembered.
Oh well, you win some you lose some…another one I’m adding to my swap pile, as maybe this just isn’t mixing well with my skin chemistry. I’m almost tempted to try the rollerball of this, if I ever come across it, to see if I have the same negative experience, as I see reviews mentioning its much nicer than the spray. But not tempted enough to buy it, as there is so many perfumes out there I desire more (and, as usual, the ever problem of not enough disposable income XD).
Can I just add, what IS it with perfumes you dislike seeming to cling to your skin forever? Even with a through washing of the wrists, I still have the faint musty stench of Paris Hilton hanging on like a swimmer to a raft, holding on for dear life. If only I could say the same for Dazzle.
For those who have had a good experience with this one, I honestly envy you. My bottle is 75% full, sprayed twice since I bought it, PM me with any swap offers 🙂
Rating sadly 1/10 on me (for the bottle alone)

I liked this when I first bought it…super sweet, fun daytime scent, BUT 2 years later it has totally changed! Now it smells like burnt sugar syrup. DOES NOT AGE WELL! I keep this in a drawer in my room, so it wasn’t out in the light/sun or anything. I would steer clear of this purely for that reason. Also, the scent was just ok (before it turned to burnt sugar syrup)…definitely for a younger woman.
I wish there was a “MEH” option…I don’t dislike this perfume in its intended state, but I hate that it aged so poorly. Oh well, good thing it was cheap. Bathroom freshener now.

this one for me is so fresh crisp fruity, soft sweet floral with a woody musky smell, nice for summer day and night, any occasion anytime anywhere,
even sometimes it’s smell like a shampoo, hairspray, an old lady mature woman, and so popular everyone almost wearing it, but i don’t care about it, just love perfumes, and want to appreciated all of it, if i want to splash it, i splash it,
if you like it , still one of your type of scent, just splash it, just be confidence, and happy , you’ll be fine,
cause perfumes itself smell like that,

While I’m apathetic at best towards Paris herself, the reviews here swayed me to get Paris Hilton (that and it was being sold for dirt cheap online).
The packaging is your usually sparkly girly fare; the bottle is cute and simple, despite it looking like a body spray. The juice, however, to me, is another matter. While I do smell the initial fruit, this turns to a much more sultry, musky-floral offering on my skin. Is it unique? Not really. It’s an inoffensive pretty perfume, but that’s about it. Is that bad? For the price and what I expected (a sugar bomb), hell no.
Edit: After using half a bottle, I realized what this reminds me of: shampoo. Just your basic shampoo.

This is beyond terrible. It makes me have a wrong concept about sweet scent and afraid to try.

The original; the simplicity; the celebrity. And while Paris Hilton #1 isn’t Givenchy Dahlia Noir, there comes an occasion where a perfume’s lack of pretention gains a certain air of respect. Released in 2005, Paris Hilton’s first scent became immediately popular with younger girls, with sound reason. Is it sophisticated and robust? Not hardly. But fun, zesty, fresh and sweet? Quite.
Opening with a surprising amount of oak moss and apple, the accompanying floral bouquet is soft enough to be mistaken for one of Bath & Body Works summer fragrance mists, once this sexy little genie’s out of her bottle. Yet, the drydown sweetens ever so gently into a freesia dream, with subtle hints of sandalwood and lily. Softly blended, I’ve found the base, top and mid notes of Paris Hilton to bear striking resemblance to Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche. It’s tasteful and appealing, yet thankfully quite easy on the nose.
Is there anything more offensive than the overpopulace of seemingly candy-scented fragrances today that look, feel and smell like Quick brand strawberry syrup? Maybe it’s just me, but although I’m a sucker for well-constructed celebrity fragrances–White Diamonds is my life’s blood–I do believe there’s a line to be crossed between sexy and just plain, well, slutty (hint-hint, Nicki Minaj). BUT, I’m happy to say, Paris Hilton #1 For Women is relatively far from trashy or syrupy. It’s a graceful, attractive and basic perfume that any woman can wear, feeling vivacious and fresh.

My friend told me that whatever I was wearing it smelled like a wet dog, and at the time I was wearing Paris Hilton, so now whenever I smelled this it does smell like a wet dog to me too, but more like a wet dog that bathed in a fruity jucie made of apples, peaches and melon. Moderate lasting power and longevity.
