Description

Roberto Cavalli launched Paradiso perfume in February 2015 as a carefree, vacation floral. A year later, the new version Paradiso Azzurro launches. The new edition is inspired by the images of golden light of sunrise over the azure waters of the Mediterranean Sea.

The new marine composition of floral – aromatic character is created by the perfumer Louise Turner. Citrus freshness and bitterness of bergamot blend with aromatic lavender in the top. The sensual heart of wild jasmine and its tender petals is laid on the base of cypress and cashmere.

The face of the campaign is Edita Vilkeviciute. The diamond – shaped bottle designed by Eva Maria Duringer is turquoise blue. The fragrance is available as 30, 50 and 75 ml Eau de Parfum with body lotion and shower gel of 150 ml. Paradiso Azzurro was launched in 2016.

My favourite Roberto Cavalli. Ultimate summer scent. Fresh, clean and with a hint of sweetness.
I’ve got a sample and liked it immediately – I love cypress and lavender. To me, it smells very unisex/a tad masculine, but in a good way 🙂 Apparently, many people liked it too, because I’ve got many compliments (from men and women alike) while wearing this.
Well, I like it and definitely will buy a big bottle.
Moreover, the scent lasts 8+h on my skin…
    A lovely smell.

This one smells very fresh, aquatic, only a little sweet and somewhat like an aftershave. Rather masculine, I’d put it in the unisex category. I’m not going to comment about the notes since I’m not a fan of this scent (on myself), but I have to say that the lasting power of this one is crazy! I sprayed it (plus other perfumes) on my arm(s) at the store and because I got some samples, when I arrived home, I wanted to wash them off in order to test the other ones. I washed the arm with this one on it several times, with two different soaps, BUT it’s still there!
Also, in my opinion, this one has nothing to do with Paradiso, which is more coniferous and not aquatic.

Gorgeous bottle and an equally gorgeous fragrance!
Fresh-spicy and ideal for summer use.
Similar to the original Paradiso, but perhaps a little sweeter.Love it!

It is a very “blue” scent, overriped fruits (apples, tropical fruits – maybe guava, papaya, coconut, brown banana?) + almost paint thinner fruity note (ok maybe I’m sick – I love it) (crushed cypress needles?). This is what Laguna of Salvador dali should scent like. Very tropical.
    Color : Blue, turquoise
Music: techno! – Laurent Garnier – Breathless

I quite like this perfume. Can we take a moment to appreciate the bottle! It is so beautiful with the gorgeous blue hue. Out of all of the Paradiso fragrance line, this bottle to me truely stands out. Now onto the fragrance, It’s got a cool aquatic vibe to it perfect for Australian hot summer days but without being too aquatic, has hints of floral from the jasmine, lavender and rose. I agree with another reviewer, It does tend to lean toward being unisex but still remains feminine.
It’s longevity is probably 3 hrs on skin but on clothes I can smell it after 9 hours.

I didn’t expect this perfume to work on me since I didn’t like Paradiso. I have to say I’m amazed! The fresh, slightly sweet citrus notes create a beautiful opening. The cypress and lavender notes remind me of a park in a pittoresk mediterranian village. There’s a fountain with watery notes while the fruit trees and other florals sway in the distance. What a beautiful summer breeze. It’s very well balanced! This could be a unisex scent too. It’s fresh but not too feminine or manly.

I was so eager to test this fragrance because of the attractive and promising notes. Don’t let the notes deceive you. This perfume is nothing but a BIG lie.

Nothing special, nothing out of the ordinary. I can not smell the lavander notes that everyone is talking about. It is a summer, crisp perfume, but nothing that would wow me. Plain white flowers in a nice bottle. Just bought this one cause my bf liked it. Will not repurchase…

Notes of both Paradiso and Paradiso Azzurro seem absolutely great for me. In theory they are my perfect fragrances.
Unfortunately they simply do not seem to be well executed.
Azzurro has a nice base to work with but it develops way too sweet than it should.
It has both masculine and sugary touch that I do not appreciate at all. I cannot feel much of the cooling soothing lavender – fruits make it sweaty and there is an overdose of cheap musk in all stages of this fragrance.
Overall, like the original Paradiso, it smells like a convenience store room freshener rather than an Italian designer perfume, very unfortunate.
Simply put, I do not understand these scents at all, despite their beautiful supposed notes.

Oh wow, either our noses are totally different or the perfume is acting very differently on individuals. The drydown for me is full on jasmine-cypress which is a beautiful combination, ideal in a summery vacation type scent if you are having trouble with fruity perfumes.
Should be marketed as unisex. Men can easily pull it off.A developing perfume. Starts generically fruity and maybe rottenish, turns salty, aquatic, marine fast. Very aromatic. Feels cold, maybe because of the cypress. Also it is spicy; lavender.
Wait for the aquatic, salty and fruity facets to tame and then it’s all intoxicating jasmine. Layers beautifully with Paradiso Assoluto, which in my opinion surpasses even the original.
    A yes from me

I sprayed this on today at the store and I’ve been smelling it over time and in my opinion it resembles the Michael Kors perfume a lot. I mean the one in the chunky box shaped bottle that just says Michael Kors on the front. I’m surprised because it doesn’t seem to have a lot of notes in common.

Very well done! Much more better than the original, which hurts my nose. Paradiso Azzurro smells like vacation. It starts with lavender, but within an hour it turns into a beautiful aromatic scent. Cypress and cashmere wood are evident, along with some tender jasmine. Sillage is moderate, which makes the fragrance perfect for summer. Makes me dream of sipping martinis on the beach by sunset.

Roberto Cavalli’s fragrances don’t shout out too loud, but rather stay quiet in the background. With decent quality, some might say, while others may claim they are boring. Concerning this one, it’s pleasant and makes a decent and unintrusive summer scent. Any why not?

Gorgeous bottle and very summery fragrance. Fresh, optimistic and mediterranean in a nice way. I don’t even miss a fig leaf which I find indispensable in this kind of fragrance. On my skin it’s jasmine/cypress/aquatic sweet (coconut??) sunny combination.
Well – I don’t go to mediterranean area this holiday – at least I have a replacement.

I can SWEAR is a coconut note in there,in large doses !
(Similar to Paradiso, more beach-ey and…sweet some how?)

I dreamed of receiving this perfume as a gift! It was an explosion of blue. I haven’t tested it yet and I have no idea of how it smells. I guess I must ask for the interpretation of this dream.

    I prefer the original.
This is not so similar I say.
Sure many readers find this a masculin frag. This is Good Life by Davidoff in the drydown.
Nice but This smell to laundry for me. Smell like an irony shirt for man… And not mentioned melon.

This fragrance does have a unisex vibe on me it is mainly woody and a bit aromatic i would use it. in spring and summer just because it is so light I find it elegant but not outstanding

This is a lovely scent, but so masculine… Once you get past the top notes, it smells very much like a lovely male fragrance. It smelled so much like a guy it seduced me! Maybe I’ll wear it when I don’t care who else is smelling me…!

  22. :

It’s all about cypress! Very Mediterranean scent and also quite male… I really like it, but I don’t think I could use it because it’s not feminine enough for me.
Summer for men in a bottle.

From the land of 45+ it is so nice to find a different sort of clean and fresh other than the usual suspects of citrus and aquatic. For me the cypress and lavender dominate .It is a borderline unisex fragrance but still leans towards feminine .It lasts and lasts .I had the original card sample in the lounge and the room still smelled of it the next morning from my bedroom . I woke up thinking what is this gorgeous smell . I am very happy with this buy .I can see this becoming a new summer staple .
And the bottle is so intensely blue love it .

    FRESH AQUATIC APPLES
    _______________________________________________________
I had the opportunity yesterday to try ‘PARADISO AZZURRO’. All I could sense were a lot of apples, fresh aquatic apples. It was amazingly fresh, but nothing more. Since it didn’t last too much, I would place it in the category with CK ONE SUMMER 2015.
    Longetivity: – 2/10
    Sillage: – 2/10
All in all: 2 out of 10 points

Nothing fruity about it. And neither aquatic.
For all the jasmine lovers , def a safe blind buy.
For all the Jasmine lovers that can’t stand the ‘usual’ jasmine bombs but would like to smell like Jasmine , try it first .
This isn’t an aquatic or soapy Jasmine .
This is a fresh, clean Jasmine . A Cresh Jasmine .
    A fresh Jasmine grenade :):):)

very gorgeous bottle with an outstanding color. It just makes you try it. But once you try it, you find out that you might have tried other perfumes. Not that it smells bad. To me it is like a mixture of paradiso and acqua and the bottle is also a mixture of these two bottles!
marine, salty, aquatic, but I hesitate if paradise smells like this and I agree Escada make better aquatic, fruity, paradise scents, even though they are not even similar.
If you haven’t tried the last releases, you may consider this one, rather else you may skip it.

Lavanda e gelsomino spiccano in modo molto intenso! La bottiglia è fantastica ma il profumo non è per me..

Today, considering nasty, rainy and cold weather, I find this one quite fresh and summary. I think it’s woody and white floral, a little bit green-smelling as well.
It’s a bit masculine for my taste, but not too bad.
When talking about paradise, I think Escada gets the idea of paradise better.
Not my favorite, but good, nice, likable scent!
