This is a rich, deep, citrus. It is appropriately sweet but not candy-like (I sprayed this on one arm with Moschino I Love Love on the other). There’s a hint of musk as this one dries down. It is a grown-up citrus scent, not a little girly perfume. I wish Nest fragrances lasted longer and projected further. Next time I am going to try layering this with I Love Love.

I have a mini of this one that I forgot I had, I LOVE citrus scents and expected this to just be a fresh orange juice kind of thing but I was wrong.
This is a gooorgeous blood orange, there IS a difference between Sunny D and a blood orange, it’s much juicier and smells like a fresh peel. The ginger gives it a zingy freshness which I dislike ginger but this is just in the background so it’s not overpowering the blood orange. I don’t know about watery notes or cedar, but this is the best citrus scent I’ve smelled! I’m in love!!
Only issue I’ve had with this is like all citrus scents, it doesn’t last!
I’ll stick around for an hour or two then disappears.
This would be so nice in the summer and spring, I’ve never had a fragrance come alive on my skin like this.
Update – I layered this on top of coconutty Elle L’aime by Lolita Lempicka and it smells AMAZING, like a creamsicle!

My favorite of the NEST scents. This is a spicy FULL citrus. I’m an Art Director and go for this fragrance on the days I feel like I really need a boost of creativity and energy. Long lasting for a citrus scent.

Initially very citrusy. Another reviewer said “bitter orange peel,” which is accurate. That’s a nice pick-me up when you are getting ready for your day. The brightness dies back quickly to a pleasant potpourri of all four base notes. It’s a nice fragrance, but personally, I would prefer something with a bit more lasting brightness most days. I wouldn’t wear at night.

I really like the strong citrus top notes in this fragrance but the dry down was sort of meh. I gave it a few tries because I love the way it opens, which does stick around awhile maybe an hour. But once to top notes fade it smells like lemon dish soap on me.

The first thing you smell is orange peel. Strong, bitter orange peel. The ginger is a nice, warm underpinning for the whole fragrance. The cedar is a warm, comforting note that lingers in the background.
It also smells like pez. Pez candy. It’s unmistakable. Yet the perfume is not sugary. It is not sweet. And it is definitely not floral.
This would work on either a man or a woman. It’s unisex, in my opinion.
I don’t know if this smells like “paradise.” Instead, it reminds me of a dark Barbara Kingsolver or Ann Patchett book in which a family lives in a deep, dark forest with wild animals, wild fruits, and huge trees. Danger lurks around every corner. The sun is heating up the fallen oranges, which lie on the forest floor.
I only get about 3 hours of wear out of this. Maybe four if I’m lucky. This scent just doesn’t linger.
You could wear this in summer – due to the citrus. You could easily wear this in autumn or winter due to – again – the citrus AND the cedar and ginger. This is a warm, rich scent. I wouldn’t advise it for spring, though.

One reviewer said “this smells ALIVE” … AGREED! The blood orange is like, oozing in this bottle. I’ve personally never held one to my nose (or worn its nectar, for that matter), but this Nest fragrance makes me feel like I’ve literally juiced one all over myself. In a good way. Love wearing this in the summertime, it makes me feel… freshly squeezed.

A unisex fragrance with three simple, true-to-life notes. Paradise glitters briefly, like the moment you separate the bitter peel of an orange from it’s succulent flesh. It is effervescent and so, so light. Like a fizzing mineral seltzer. I wear this throughout the summer because the bitter citrus top notes and sharp cedar base cut through heat and humidity in a very refreshing way.
Unfortunately the longevity and silage are so weak on my skin that this performs more like a body spritz than a perfume.

The pyramid is pretty accurate, although I would add a touch of amber to it. Sweet floral smell with a lot of citrus, very pleasant and quite lasting too.

Paradise is what I wanted Citrine to be. It opens with a loud, rounded citrus. I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t sharp, but was unpleasantly surprised at how quickly the citrus faded. I then got aqua notes embedded with cedar. The ginger is well blended and mostly is there to make the cedar more interesting. You have to go looking for it.
It does smell like paradise. I am immediately taken to a water park with citrus trees, standing in line next to a cute guy. I would follow a man wearing this anywhere. I was also surprised when I saw this was suggested for women. I would definitely classify this as a man’s fragrance, or at least unisex. It ends up having a man’s body wash feel to it as the water notes wash the other notes away.
EDIT: I just realized that the dry down this smells exactly like my husband’s hipster tropical/beach shaving cream! That explains my associations! *sneaks this into his medicine cabinet*

This smells to me like a lush citrus, which I didn’t think existed! Beautifully fruity and not sharp. It smelled more like mango or guava to me because it wasn’t bitey like most citrus are on me. However, it disappeared after less than an hour! It was great while it lasted.

Surprisingly potent and long-lasting for a citrus fragrance. This scent opens with a very realistic blood orange note (almost photorealistic, in the style of Atelier Cologne), but the drydown is a light, woody ‘orange’ that reads as a cross between Fendi Theorema Leggero and PEZ candy. Pretty and perky, but not for me.

I love this fragrance! This smells exactly like what I would think paradise would smell like! This is probably my most favorite citrus fragrance in my collection and they range in brands from Atelier to Chanel, but this surpasses all of them. This one smells of orange zest and freshly squeezed blood orange. It is by far the most authentic-smelling citrus fragrance in my collection. The citrus scent stays from beginning to end but some other scents like woody notes and spices come out to play also. I would consider this a unisex fragrance. I am a female but could also see a man wearing this fragrance because it is not a sugary sweet citrus and has those woody/spicy notes. I get a decent projection with this fragrance. Those people who I am talking to (within arms length) can definitely smell it but people several feet away won’t be able to smell it, and I would say this lasts about 4-5 hours on me so a decent longevity also. A great fragrance especially for the price.

This scent reminds me of the holidays — spices and oranges. Fresh but has a bit more complexity than most citrus scents because of the spicy and woody notes. Lasts about 3 hours. For a true blood orange I like Atelier’s better, but this is a more complex offering.

I got a sample of this at Sephora and purchased it immediately the next day. I don’t usually like citrus fragrances but this is one of the most enchanting, entrancing, sexy perfumes I have ever smelled. The citrus is strong, sharp, realistic and juicy. To me it smells more like an orange peel than the flesh of the fruit. It has that sharp, bitter edge that the peel has. The only other thing I smell is cedar wood, which adds a sexy clean masculine edge and softens the bitter citrus. It is not the longest lasting fragrance, which is unfortunate but won’t dissuade me from wearing it every day.

Nest is one of the best in producing such realistic scents! It’s like someone squeezed blood orange on my wrists. It’s perfect for summer, light and crisp but the excellent sillage and longitivtiy. One of my favorite perfumes for this summer.

This smells ALIVE! It’s amazing. I haven’t smelled any thing this realistic since Olivia Giacobetti’s Mandarine Tout Simplement for L’Artisan many years ago. My husband got a whiff of this and he said, “Buy anything you want as long as you get a big bottle of this!” My son’s girlfriend and I each bought a bottle and it’s delightful. I work at a university that is lush with orange and palm trees, and birds sing everywhere in the sunshine. This fragrance smells like a walk along the sidewalks in the fresh spring air.

starts out as a really strong citrus more like the skin rather than the actual fruit, underlying that there is an indolic quality that starts to emerge. Woody and spicy towards the end, the citrus still hangs on to the end. To me I think this would be a smell more for the males.
