I received Padma and Prema for Christmas. Padma is interesting. It is a booming, spicy, earthy scent in which softer, cleaner scents orbit. Clove is the dominating body with satellites of floral rose and jasmine. What I also find interesting is, unlike perfumes or colognes, the varying fragrant elements in oils sort of hold up on their own in a much stronger way. Although clove is the main note in Padma, there is no mistaking the notes of rose and jasmine. I don’t know what lotus smells like so I can’t really say how much I smell it in this oil. But there is something, unfamiliar there and I’m certain its the lotus.
